The tower has fallen

~Pietro's POV~

"I need to go back in!" I shouted as everyone but Kenzie stood outside the tower that was crumbling as we spoke.

"No Pietro if you get stuck in there you'll die, you're too young to die. I'll go." Steve stated and I shook my head.

"She saved my life so I should at least be aloud to try and save hers." I replied and Steve smiled softly.
"I'll just run in there, grab her and run out I'll be out in seconds, minutes at the most."

"Fine." Steve said and I shot straight into the building.

Inside every single room and corridor I ran through was crumbling and smokey. It's obvious that whoever set up these bombs meant to destroy the tower with us all in it.

Once I reached Wanda's room I saw a pile of rubble and no sign of Kenzie.

"Shit!" I muttered running to the pile and digging through it trying to find her. After about five minutes of searching I finally found a leg which I pulled on to reveal a unconscious Kenzie.

I picked her up in my arms as rubble fell around us and ran out of the room and to the rest of the team who were standing outside the tower staring up at it.

"Is she okay?" Nat asked once I reached them as she looked at Kenzie lying in my arms.

However before I could reply the top of the tower made a horrific crack before crashing down through the burning crumble of building.

"Shit." Clint muttered looking up at the tower and then to Kenzie.
"We need to get her to a hospital!"

"Pietro, take her to the nearest hospital!" Steve ordered turning back to us after getting off the phone.
"The fire brigade are on the way, the towers past saving but they're hoping that they can at least put the fire out. We're really lucky that no parts of the tower have hit any of the buildings nearby."

~two hours later~

"They wanted us to suffer because Kenzie killed their father and Stark the rest of their family." Nat stated from her seat beside Kenz.

I'd ran straight to the hospital whose staff rushed to help us as soon as we'd arrived. Luckily she hasn't suffered any long term damage, just a few broken ribs and a broken ankle which will heal in no time thanks to her healing ability. The doctors just wanted to keep her here to get rest and the rehydrate her as it seems she's not been taking proper care of her health and the smoke from the fires done her no favours. Steve agreed as we don't have anywhere else for her to go anyway.

"So we just need a list of all the people Kenz has killed then?" I asked casually causing everyone but Wanda and Nat to look at me in horror.
"And a list of everywhere Stark's weapons have been used."

"None of them are going to keep a list!" Steve exclaimed horror evident in his voice before it dropped.
"Would they?"

"If he didn't destroy them Stark would have records of who his weapons were sold to." Clint stated slowly.

"She does have a list." Wanda exclaimed getting up from her seat beside Kenz's bed.

"And what does she do tick it off once she killed someone on there!" Clint replied sarcastically.
"No one would do that!"

"No. She's right when we were in Hydra Kenz told us how she'd killed all these people who were apart of Hydra trying to find out about who ordered the murder of her parents and when we asked her how she kept track of them all she told us she had a whole list that she marked off once she'd been to each person." I explained slowly.
"But I don't know where it is so we'll have to wait until she wakes up."

"Great so we're now relying on a list that a angry and heartbroken teenager made to find out who tried to kill us!" Bruce complained quietly from the corner of the room where he and Thor,who'd been unusually quiet, stood.

"It's the only thing we've got." Nat stated.

"At least it is for now." Steve replied glancing around the room at all of us.
"I'll try contact Stark but until he replies theirs not a lot we can do but wait for her to wake up so we can find that list."

We all nodded and Steve went to leave the room but just as he did Kenz stirred from beside us before sitting up quickly.

"We need to find my list." She stated making us all turn to face her in confusion. Could she hear us taking before?

She looked at all us her body shaking and her eyes wide as if she didn't understand what she was saying herself.
"We need to find my list."
