Don't hurt her

I woke up in someone's arms in the jet. The psychopathic bitch who hurt my head was strapped down to a table, a piece of ice sticking out of her stomach. Sitting up slowly, I smirked at the sight of her before Steve turned to me fuming.

"I told you not to hurt her!" He shouted as I lent back closer to Tony who wrapped his arms tighter around me.

"I didn't promise anything." I replied instantly regretting it.

"We should have just left you with Ultron." He muttered but I heard him and shot up.

"I'm sorry but she was messing with me. She was controlling my limbs and throwing me to the floor. My head was screaming and I couldn't take it anymore." I stated as he looked at me confusion in his eyes.

"I was there Steve." I started glancing at the floor.
"I re-watched my parents die but this time I was the one who killed them. Not Shield. Not Hydra. Me. I just knew that I wasn't mentally strong enough to chase her if she ran so I did the first thing I could think of. I missed anywhere that would cause any critical damage." 

Steve nodded sympathetically and gave me a quick hug apologising before going to sit down as we were about to land. I sat back in Tony's arms as we landed back at the tower.

As soon as we had safely landed, nurses and doctors came in to take Chloe to a medical room and the rest of us pilled  out slowly glancing at Steve for orders.

"Go get changed and meet back in the kitchen in ten minutes." He ordered and I ran off to get changed. To get to my room I had to pass the doctors and Chloe. Even when she was unconsciousness she  still had that psychopathic smirk across her face.

Quickly walking past, I got to my room and changed into a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, a black jumper that said 'too young to care' on and my black boots. My clock said that it had been five minutes so I decided to head back to the others.

Steve was sitting around the table arguing with Tony about something. I lent against the wall where they couldn't see me and listened to their conversation.

"Don't do something you're going to regret!" Steve said angrily.

"You're only saying that because this effects the team!" Tony shouted back and he sounded furious.

"No,I'm saying this because I care about the both of you. If you just want a fling then find someone else. Kenzie's gone through enough. I mean you cheated on her." Steve shouted and I gasped, they were talking about me. Tony muttered something that I didn't hear before a doctor walked into the room to grab something and they stopped talking. Stumbling a little I walked into the room and sat down next to Tony. I placed my feet on his lap and glanced between him and Steve.

"Did I miss anything?" I asked hiding the smirk threatening to appear on my face. Both men shook their heads instantly and I rolled my eyes. A couple of minutes later the rest of the team came in and sat around the table. Clint came and sat beside me, Nat and Bruce sat around the other side of the table, as did Pietro and Wanda and I haven't seen Thor.

"Where's Thor?" Clint asked after he glanced around the room and raised an eyebrow at me and Tony.

"I don't know but I'm sure he'll be back soon." Steve replied slowly trying to reassure us all.

"I saw his hammer in the forest." I stated as all heads snapped towards me.

"When?" Tony asked worry lacing his voice.

"Before the psychopath started to control me." I replied slowly resting my head back against the chair.

"What exactly did she do?" Nat asked curiously but I could tell she was being careful with what she said.

"She made my entire head feel like it was being split open, she controlled all of my limbs and she planted tampered memories in my head." I explained as she nodded and everyone turned to Wanda as she was the mind reader in the team.

"I can't see inside your head." Wanda muttered slowly staring at me. Shaking my head in disbelief, I cleared my mind to try and give her an easier chance. After a couple of minutes she shook her head and I turned to Pietro and nodded towards him.

"Seriously brother all you can think about is food?" She asked and I laughed quietly.

"Anyway." Steve started getting our attention once again.
"We need to interrogate her."

"I'll do it." I replied automatically and everyone but Tony and Pietro nodded in agreement.

"I know how she works. I've met her more than once now. I'll do it." I explained and they finally let out a sigh and nodded.

"I'll come with you." Tony said and I smiled gratefully.

"She's awake!" A nurse said running into the room. Steve glanced over at me and Tony as we got up and headed to Chloe.

"So what's she like?" Tony asked as I rolled my eyes.

"She's a psychopath but you put up with me so you'll be okay." I replied softly and quietly.

"Hey. Hey. You're amazing." Tony said as we stepped into the room. He grasped my face and leaned in kissing me slowly as a sigh of reassurance. A cough made us break out grasp and I looked to see a smirking Chloe staring at us.

"Well. Isn't this cute."
