Suddenly you found yourself surrounded by a pack of orcs, who all seemed to be quite interested in piercing their blades through your flesh. On the inside, you were trembling with fear but you were determined not to show any signs of fright to the foul creatures that were facing you.

You started to attack the pack, aggressively, and managed to slay a few of them. There was one particular orc whom you despised, because it was him who killed your father a few weeks ago. It was a dark and grim day when the orcs came storming in. The village you lived in was small and well hidden, it had lived in peace for quite a few years. Your mother died when you were born; they simply didn't have the right tools to deliver a child, so both the mother and baby were in danger from the minute a woman got pregnant. When you were born you were a little underfed and dehydrated but other than that you were fine. Your mother, on the other hand, had lost a lot of blood and she passed away before she could even lay eyes on you. Naturally, you and your father have a great relationship. He taught you how to shoot, how to wield a sword and even how to stealth past enemies. It was of course bitter when the orc named Argigoth killed him. He grabbed his hair and beheaded him. The blood that belonged to your father, splashed on your face. You saw the smirk on Argigoth his face as you saw the lifeless body of your father slowly sink down to the ground. It was from that moment on you decided that you would avenge your father and kill Argigoth.

It took you a few weeks to track down the pack, and when you finally found them, you were startled. The tracks led into the forest of Mirkwood. Your father spoke about the forest and the King that ruled over it. It was a forest filled with dark creatures that sneak up on you in the night. He warned you about it and he made you promise you'd never dare to go in. But now, being so close to the pack, you thought ''fuck it'' and went in.

Immediately, you could feel the density of the forest infiltrate your brain. It made you feel woozy, but you were determined to move on.

You could smell them, they were so incredibly close you could almost hear them breathe. Suddenly you hear a twig crack and as you turned around swiftly, the pack had surrounded you.

You lock eyes with Argigoth and you start running. You scream, you swing your sword and you get out all the frustration that had piled up the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately it only scratches him and as you retreat he swings his sword and cuts your hip. Looking at it, you shiver. The cut is extremely deep and it's gushing with blood. The all too familiar smirk appears on his face, and as he is about to charge, an arrow pierces through his skull and he falls down on top of you. As you try to push him off, you can hear a voice saying ''Herio!'' (Charge!). You can feel losing yourself and before you black out, you see an army of elves slaying the pack, killing every single orc, leaving none alive.

You start waking up. You open your eyes and immediately realize that you are in the King's realm. As you look around you are amazed by the beauty of the chamber you are in; even the smell is mesmerizing. Tree branches curl up against the ceiling and make a magical pattern. It's hypnotizing to look at. A friendly voice wakes you from your thoughts. ''My lady, how are you feeling?'' she asks. Looking at the maiden who walked into your chambers, her beauty overwhelms you. The beauty of elves is not something that is unknown, but having heard only stories about it, seeing it in real life is fascinating. ''I'm...okay, actually.'' you say as you remember the gushing wound on your hip. You looked at it, with only a scar remaining. ''But.. how is that possible, I mean...''

''Our healers are the best at what they do.'' she interrupts you. ''After all, it was the King's orders for you you be healed as soon as possible.'' She smiles as she walks up to you and sits at the side of your bed. ''Now, do you think you are able to rise? I have orders to present you to the King when you are adequate to walk.''''Yes, yes I think I do.'' You say. ''Okay, I'll lay out a dress for you to put on, I'll be outside waiting for you.'' she stands up and walks out of the room. But before she closes the door, you say: ''Wait... I do not even know your name?'' She smiles and answers ''My name is Lura. Now get dressed, my name is the least of your concern'' and she closes the door. Slowly rising from the bed you walk over to the table where Lura laid out the dress. It was absolutely beautiful. It was grey, and the arms and breast area were made out of lace. When you looked at yourself in the mirror you saw the small cuts in your face and you decided not to be bothered by them. You walk out of the door where Lura is happy to see you up and walking. She leads you through the great corridors and right before the last turn she says: ''The King is waiting for you in the throne room. He wishes to speak to you alone, none are allowed in. I wish you all the best of luck.'' She stops walking and moves her head in the direction of the two doors that undoubtedly lead into the throne room. You bow your head as a sign of gratitude and walk to the doors. You hesitate for a moment but then you open the massive doors and step into the room.

''Ah, here she is at last. I have been expecting you.''
