Melody

What the heck just happened?!? My head is pounding and the room is spinning. Wait why am I in a room? Last I remember I was with Lucas and he was driving, now I'm in this white room and I'm wearing a robe. What the heck? This is so weird?!?

Wait a second! I bet I'm just dreaming. That's probably it, I will just stay calm and as soon as I wake up I'll be back in my room. I knew I would never score a date with Lucas. This makes so much more sense.

"Oh look who's awake!" An older women walks in the room.

"What do you mean this has to be a dream" I respond

"Oh honey I wish it was" she sadly responds

"What do you mean? What's going on?"

"Let me explain, you and Lucas were driving along the road when a man and his young sister rammed into the side of Lucas's car. The officers saw you in the car and it appeared that your head was bleeding and they rushed you to the hospital and now you are here,"

"Whoa I'm in the hospital! Wait who's Lucas?"

"I'm sad to say yes, and Lucas is thought to be your boyfriend,"

"Oh yea that's right! How is he?"

"As far as we know he haven't been physically damaged"

"Look over there do you see that thing? On the door? What's that? Oh it looks cool!"

"Come on honey focus"

"Oh yea okay well what about me? You said my head was bleeding?"

"Yea about that... Sweety I hate to say it but we believe that you have had permanent brain damage."

"WHAT THE HECK!! HOW?!? I feel fine..."

"We aren't 100% sure but we feel as if you have a Contusion,"

"What the freak is that?!"

"A contusion is similar to a concussion, but far more dangerous."

"No I meant in the door over there, like really it looks so cool! But I guess I do need to know what a contusion is too,"

"Well contusion often comes from a direct impact to the head, and it results in bleeding in the brain which is not safe. "

"How is this going to affect me? I feel completely normal. Just sitting here in my room and relaxing."

"Well memory loss and attention issues are the two biggest issues that occur in this type of situation. And if you couldn't see yourself you are suffering very much from the two of these"

"No I am not I feel fine! Ooooo look there is a little puppy on the tv!! Aww look at it! It's so cute:)!"

"Um yea you are we just need to keep a watch if you" most of these issues should be temporary"

"Ugh fine I guess I'll just deal with it"

"Wait so who is Lucas?"

"We believe he is your boyfriend. He was in the car with you before you were brought to the hospital and checked you in. The ambulance said you too were around the same age and he seemed concerned about you"

"Oh yea it's coming back now, oh yea yea! We have been together forever now I remember"

"Well I'm glad you remember sweat heart!"

Later that day

*knock knock*

"Hello" I shout as the door opens

"Hey Mel" a hot blonde boy says as he walks in.

"Well hello there cutie!"

"Umm hey! How are you feeling"

"Better that a mysterious hot guy just appeared in my room" I say confidently

"Um Mel do you remember who I am?"

"I have never met you in my life, trust me I would remember that smile"

"Mel it's me, Lucas"

"No Lucas is my boyfriend, back in Maine!"

"No honey, I'm Lucas we were trying to go on our first date but got in an accident."

"Why would I date you I have a boyfriend!"

"I am your boyfriend!"

"You are?!?"

"Yes"

"Oh well this changes things"

"Oh really it does"

"Yea, I think I'm gonna like you"

"I think you will too, now I have to go I'll be back soon!"

"Okay!"

Man Lucas is so hot. I can't believe he's my boyfriend. Hopefully all my memory will come back soon, I would love to know what's going on. I'm starting to remember things it's just hard to get everything wrapped up in one.

Although I was told by the nurse the stuff I'll be forgetting is recent stuff. That means Lucas and I must not of been together all that long. I remember meeting him on the first day of school but that's all. This is so strange I have no clue what to do. I'm pretty sure Lucas had a girlfriend too. What was her name? TIFFANY! That's right! Wait did they break up? They must of or how would we be together. Are we really together or did Lucas lie?
