It's been weeks since the day Lucas and I walked home together. Which also means it has been weeks since he told me he would try to get involved in church. Oh but guess what he haven't yet. Oh my gosh and I am just letting him do this to me. He is going to play me like all the other girls he has. I wonder if he had ever told Tiffany anything and didn't follow through. Hmm that gives me an idea....

Monday at school
"Hey!"

"Heyyyy why are youuuuuuuu talking to mee??"

"Well Tiffany," I begin wondering if I made the right choice, "I was wondering if you could help me with something?"

"Ohhhh NOOO what did lucasssss Pookie do now?"

"Pookie? "

"Yea he's still mine he always will be! He is just going through a good girl phase, hence you!"

"Whoa that's the first time you didn't sound like an idiot when talking, it was still mean, but you sounded normal. "

"Oh melody you obviously still don't get it. That little dumb thing is just an act to get boys. Them boys like them dumb girl, you know what I mean?"

"Not exactly"

"They want girls like me ditsy, dumb, girls they can fool around with then ditch. "

"You 'Fool around' with boys?"

"Yea! Doesn't everybody? I mean girls, like me, will do anything to get a boy in bed, you know it makes you feel special!"

"Oh well...."

"So I'm guessing you are a virgin,"

"Uh yea"

"Well Mel, can I call you Mel, honestly stay that way. Once it's gone there is no going back, it becomes who you are. "

"I wasn't expecting that"

"Ha yea you were probably thinking I would go on a rant about how it's so fun and that you have to do it huh,"

"Well kind of, I shouldn't of judged you lik that..."

"Honestly I don't blame you," Tiffany said I still was in shock, "You are like a hard core Christian Right?"

"Yea I guess you could say that "

"That's awesome! I have always wished I could of lived a life like that but I gave it up to be 'cool'..."

"Well Jesus expects people with open arms, don't be Afraid to turn back to him"

"Oh Mel, I wish it was that easy,"

"It is"

"You know Mel I need to get to class, but let's talk later k?"

"Okay"

"Oh and by the way from what I know Lucas isn't the fooling around type"

"Really?"

"Bye Mel"

"Bye"

What was happening to the world? We're Tiffany and I really friends? Does Lucas seriously not fool around? Oh man life is getting complicated. As I walk to class I hear Tiffany yell from behind me.

"Wait Mel!!!!"

"Yea"

"Here is my number, feel free to use it. I mean you seem cool" Tiffany hands me a paper smiling and her number written out on it. I'm still so confused by my day so far and I haven't even had lunch yet.
