2.Knowing

I was drinking my morning coffee and waiting for Stefan to drive me to my first day if school at Mystic Falls High School. I was wearing a floral skirt and a white button up shirt along with my knee high light brown boots.

"You ready to go?" Stefan said as he walked in the kitchen

"Ready as I'll ever be" I said in a doubtful voice

We walked out of the house and got into Stefan's car. Stefan's car was a 1998 red mustang convertible. I have always loved his car, people always stop and stare at us whenever we drive by because they love the car so much.

And sure enough, there were people starring at us when we arrived at school. There were people mumbling and whispering about us as we walked into the school. But I didn't care, stuff like that never affected me.

Getting enrolled wasn't hard at all because Stefan just compelled the principle. I got my schedule and my locker number and combo. I found my locker and put in the numbers and it swings open. I was just about to go to class when I saw Jeremy at his locker and thought I would say hi.

"Hey Jeremy" I said walking up to him

"Oh hey Macy! What's up" he said while getting all of his books he needed and organizing his locker

"We'll I just got my schedule and was about to go to my class and thought I'd say hi"

He closed his locker and leaned against it

"Oh well what's your first class?"

I looked down at my schedule and saw it was History

"I have History first"

His face lit up and a smile came up on his face

"So do I, ill show you how to get there"

"Cool! It's good that I'll know at least one person in the class" I said while heading in the direction Jeremy was going

It turned out me and Jeremy had 3 classes together. English, reading, and history. At lunch time we walked to the cafeteria together and sat at the table Stefan and Elena were sitting at. Elena was talking to two other girls that were sitting next to her.

"Hey Macy" Stefan said and scooted over so I could sit next to him. Jermey sat on the other side of me

"How are you enjoying your first day?" Elena asked with a big smile

"It's going really well. Me and Jeremy have three classes together" I said while turning to Jeremy

"That's great! Oh, Macy, I want you to meet Bonnie and Caroline"

Bonnie had dark brown hair and dark skin, she had dark brown eyes. Caroline had blonde hair with blue eyes and very pale skin. I could tell Caroline is a joyful person because all the time I was sitting at the table she had been smiling the whole time.

"Very nice to meet you Macy!" Caroline said giving a very big grin

"Nice to meet you too Caroline"

"Nice to meet you" Bonnie said with a wide smile

"Same to you" I said and smiled at both I them

After lunch was over school went by fast and it wasn't that bad.

When school was over Stefan was going to the Grill to meet up with Elena and I decided to go with him. I thought I could do the job of making things awkward between them.

When we got to the Grill Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline were sitting at a table talking. When Stefan spotted Elena he smiled. I was about to start walking over to them when I heard Stefan laugh a little.

"What's so funny?" I asked looking at him

"They're talking about me" he said looking over at the table they were sitting at

"How can you tell?"

He tapped his ear

"Vampire hearing"

"Oh yeah. I forgot" Vampires have the ability to hear things from miles away. It's pretty cool if you ask me, I wish I had that.

We walked over to them and pulled up seats

"Hey guys what's up" I said turning to the three of them

"Oh hey, just talking about Founders Day party coming up" Caroline said with her usual if smile

"Oh, so you are all of your families founding families?" I asked

"Mine is. I'm a Gilbert" Elena said looking at me

"Mine is too, I'm a Forbes" Caroline said

"Mine isn't. I'm a Bennett" Bonnie said looking at me

"Wait your a Bennett?" I asked looking at her. If shes a Bennett then she is a descendant of Emily Bennett, one of the most powerful witches ever

"Yeah. Pretty boring if you ask me, well my Grams always talks about how we are descendants of a very powerful witch. But she always says things like that

So she doesn't know she's a witch, oh well, she'll find out soon

"Yeah I've heard that too" I said looking at Stefan

"Wait, so are you too both Salvetores?" Caroline asked

"Yeah, I'm Stefan's younger sister" Stefan's not really my brother but that's our cover story that we tell everyone

"Oh so you'll be coming to the party" Elena said

"Yes we will" Stefan said smiling at Elena

A week went by and school was going pretty good. Me and Jeremy became really good friends and so did me and Caroline and Bonnie.

And Stefan finally found out stuff about Katherine and why Elena looks so much like her. He figured out that Katherine secretly had a baby but she gave it away. And he then figured out that Elena was adapted.

So since Elena was adopted he went threw the family tree and saw that it led back to a family that's last name was Petrova. And sure enough that was Katherine's last name.

I did a little digging myself and found out that the Petrova blood line is a doppleganger blood line. A doppleganger is practically a double of a person. And I found out that a doppleganger is born every 500 years. So sure enough, Elena is a doppleganger.

Tomorrow is the Founders Day Party and I don't have anyone to go with. Stefan is going with Elena and Jeremy is going with Vicki. Vicki is a girl in our grade that Jeremy had a 'thing' with. I don't really think she's right for him, but she makes him happy and I don't want to interfere.

I was playing pool with Elena when Damon walked in and came over to me.

"Hey Macy" Damon said looking at me

"Oh hey Damon. Um Elena, I would like you to meet my other brother Damon" I said introducing them

"Pleasure to meet you Elena" he said kissing her hand

"Nice to meet you too Damon" she said looking into his piercing blue eyes

"Um Damon can I talk to you for a second" I said looking up at him

"Sure little sis" he said and we walked over near the exit

"What are you doing? You know that Elena and Stefan are going out now" I said looking fierce-fully into his eyes

"What are you talking about? I'm not trying to hit on Elena" he said with a smirk

I was about to say something when I heard rustling outside. Me and Damon looked at each other and walked out the exit. I saw two people fighting each other. And they were Jeremy and Tyler Lockwood.
