I stepped in the middle of them and put out a hand on both of there chests so they couldn't punch each other.

"What's going on?! Why are you guys fighting?!" I yelled at both of them

"Because he's a dick to Vicki and he doesn't deserve her!" Jeremy said pushing forward but I pushed him back

"No. Jeremy's the one being a pansy and is getting in the way if me and Vicki!" Tyler yelled

I don't really know Tyler that well, all I know about him is that he plays on the football team and is the mayors son. And that him and Vicki have hooked up a few times.

"Well you both need to settle down and let Vicki decide who she wants to be with" Damon said walking up to them

"And who are you to tell us what to do" Tyler snapped at Damon

"Really? Just shut up and stop picking fights" Damon said while looking annoyed

"I'll stop fighting with him when he stops going for Vicki" Tyler said giving a look at Jeremy then turning to Damon

That's when Jeremy brought back his fist and was about to hit Tyler when I did something unexpected. I stepped in front if Tyler. Jeremy's fist collided the side of my head and I fell to the ground.

Pain struck all in my head and I couldn't hear anything. I saw Damon rushing towards me and I could see his lips moving but I couldn't hear what he was saying. He had a worried look in his eyes, but he also had anger. I saw him yelling at Jeremy and Jeremy looking like he wanted to punch himself for doing what he just did. Damon was dialing a number franticly, but he never took his eyes off me once.

I couldn't stay awake any longer so I closed my eyes and drifted off

I woke up in a hospital room and the first thing I noticed was the throbbing in my head. Then I realized I regained my hearing back because I could hear two people talking

"How is she? And what happened ?" The voice sounded familiar and I could tell it was Stefan

"The nurse said she has a mild concussion and that she can go home tomorrow. And what happened is Jeremy and Tyler Lockwood were being stupid and fighting. Macy tried to stop them but Jeremy punched Macy in the side of the head." I could tell it was Damon talking and I knew he was pissed off at Jeremy and Tyler

I looked over at them and I was right. Damon and Stefan were sitting in the two arm chairs next the the bed I was in.

They both saw that I turned my head and stood up

"Hey Macy how are you feeling?" Stefan asked with concerned look

"Im fine, my head just really hurts" I said touching my head

"Yeah you got hit really hard, the nurse said you have a mild concussion" Damon said walking over beside the hospital bed

Stefan's phone rang and said he had to take the call and he'll be right back

Stefan came back into the room a minute later

"I have to go, Elena needs me to go to the Grill and tell her what happened and how Macy is" he said

"Okay, see you tomorrow" I said, and with that, he left

The nurse then walked in and looked at Damon

"Visiting hours are over, you have to leave" she said with a stern voice

"No, I'm staying here over night with her" he said compelling her.Compelling someone, or compulsion, is another ability vampires have and it's on the lines of mind controlling. They have to look into the persons eyes and say what they want to compel them to do, say, or anything, and the person will do it.

"Okay, you can stay with her" she said with a straight face and walked out of the room

"You need to get some rest" Damon said walking over to the door and shutting it

"Yeah I'm really tired," I said getting comfortable "Oh and Damon"

"Yeah" he said looking over at me

"Thanks. For taking care of me, and staying here with me"

"No problem Macy. I'll always be here for you" he said walking over beside the bed and leaning down to kiss my forehead. He then walked over and sat in the arm chair.
I immediately fell into a long hard sleep

Damon was driving me home to the boarding house when I got a text from Stefan

Stefan: Hey, I'm going to the Grill with Elena. Be back in a hour

Me: Okay, Damon and I are almost home

Stefan: Make sure to rest!

Me: Okayy

We pulled up to the boarding house and I went upstairs to my room. May I just say that I love my room. It's painted a cream color and in the far right corner is my bed and the windows are next to it and my dresser is on the right wall. My bathroom is on the wall and is really fancy, my wardrobe is right next to it and its a walk in closet. And in the far left corner is my desk.

When I got into my room I took a quick shower and put on black skinnies and a blue crop top with an open back. I slipped on my black wedges and put my hair in a high ponytail

I walked downstairs and outed myself some tea and sat by the window. I checked the time as saw it was one o'clock and decided I needed food. So I got up and made my self a taco. Tacos are my life... No joke

"Oh how I praise you taco" I said while worshiping the delicious taco

"Yeah I think you've gone insane" Damon said while looking at me in a strange way

"I never said other wise"

Damon walked out of the kitchen and into the parlor to pour himself a drink

"I'm bored Damon" I said walked up to him

"Well.. We can always party" he said with a smirk
