18.Dude watch where you're going

After school Damon, Elena, Stefan, and I all met up in Alaric's room.

I explained to Alaric everything that's happening and if he could help and he agreed

"So how long will it take for you to track her" Damon asked looking at me from where he was standing

"Not long. I just need a map of the town" I said

Then Alaric went through his desk and found a big map that was of Mystic Falls and handed it to me

I then spread the map out along his desk and pulled out the tracking spell Bree gave me.

Then I took out a small pocket knife and cut my hand and dripped the blood onto the map and started chanting the spell

After a few second the blood made a pathway to a place about a mile from the Boarding House

"So that's where she is?" Elena asked looking at it

"Yep" I said

I then got a couple of tissues and wrapped my hand so it wouldn't drip

I then remembered the Orris and how I had to consume it before doing the spell, so I decided I would do it now

I took out the Orris from my bag and the other spell Bree gave me

"What are you doing?" Damon asked

"Bree said I have to consume it" I said then took the Orris in my hand and started chanting the spell

After a couple seconds the Orris shriveled up into a small pile of ash. But what I wasn't expecting was that it shot up into my nose

I flew back and smacked into the desks.

Damon and Stefan were by my side seeing if I was okay

"Macy! Are you okay" I heard Elena asking

I couldn't tell what just happened, but then I knew what she meant by letting it consume me. It had to be in me and apart if me so I could use it's energy

"Macy" Damon said snapping me out of my thought

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said slowly getting up

"What just happened?" Alaric asked

"Bree said that I had to let the Orris consume me. And what I think is that to let it consume me and give me power, then it has to be a part of me" I explained

They all were silent for a second

"Do you feel different?" Elena asked

"Not really, I mean I feel like I have more energy"

"Okay, so we all know the plan for tonight" Stefan said

Everyone nodded

Everyone left and it was just me and Alaric. It wasn't quite five yet so I thought I would talk with him

"I just wanna make sure you're okay with doing this. I mean you're human" I said to Alaric

"Yes I am human but I'm a vampire hunter and I know what I'm doing.. And.. I have this" he said then showed his hand. It had a big ring on it and it looked similar to the ones that Stefan and Damon wear

"What is it" I asked

"It's a ring that brings me back to life if I'm killed by a supernatural creature" he explained

I examined it

"That's so cool. I want one"

"Yeah, well it doesn't work on supernatural creatures. Only on humans"
