"Hello Macy" Klaus said walking into the room

I was happy to see him. I hadn't talked to him in about twenty years

I gave him a smile then noticed that Payton was starting to get up and Klaus did to

"I got this one, no need for you to get hurt" he said then in a flash he was kneeling next to Payton ripping her heart out

I then looked over at Damon and Stefan and saw they were getting their strength back.

"Macy!" Damon yelled

I was confused as to why he said that but hen someone came up behind me and stabbed me in the neck

I gasped and held my neck. Blood was poring out and I couldn't stand

In an instant Klaus was by my side helping me. He bit his wrist and held it to my mouth

I swallowed it but my wounds didn't heal. I then realized that I had been drinking vervain for the past three days

"Vervain" I said in a whisper

Damon got up and rushed to me

"Get her out of here, I'll take care of these three" Klaus said looking at the three witches in the back of the room

Damon then picked me up into his arms and then started out of the room

He ran at vampire speed and we arrived at the boarding house in under a minute. He rushed inside and he went upstairs and set me on my bed

He then went into the bathroom and got a towel then pressed it against my neck

"It's going to be okay, you'll get threw this. But just please.. Don't leave me" he said sitting next to me and pulling me close to him

I couldn't get enough breathe to say anything so I just nodded

"I love you Macy. More than anything" he said looking down at me

I smiled at him then said faintly "I love you too"

He flashed a smile then have me a long sweet kiss

Then Stefan rushed threw the door and Klaus behind him

"What can we do to heal her" Stefan said approaching the bed

"Well she has vervain in her system so there's nothing else we can do" Damon said getting up off the bed

"Doesn't she have a witch friend, maybe there's a spell that can heal her" Klaus said walking to the window

"That type of spell would take a very powerful witch" said a new voice

I looked to the door and saw Aaron walking in

"And I don't have that type of power" he said

After a minute or two of them all trying to come up with ideas I started to become faint, and I closed my eyes

I could hear Damon say something but I drifted off before I could hear him

I woke up in a room I didn't recognize. I was in a small bed and the walls were brown with a small desk in the corner. The door was on the left side and a window was across from the door

I sat up and the first thing I notice is there was no pain.

I felt my neck and there was no cut and no blood. I looked at my stomach and it was the same thing

I got up and again there was no pain, only soreness

I walked over to the window and looked around there was a small parking lot and trees behind it

"Feeling better"

I turned around to see Damon standing in the doorway

"How am I healed? I had vervain in my system" I said looking at him

"We didn't know what to do until Aaron remembered a friend that you too visited and knew she would help." He said walking to the center of the room

I was confused at first but then it clicked.

"Bree?" I asked

He nodded "She used some of this weird plant to heal you"

I ran over to him and threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly

"I love you so much"

He wrapped his arms around my waist and embraced me in his arms

"I love you too Macy" he said

Then there was a nock at the door

I pulled back from Damon's arms and looked over to the door to see Aaron

"I'll go tell Stefan you're awake" Damon said then left the room

"Aaron, I can't thank you enough" I said

"Well I couldn't let you die" he said walking into the room

I then gave him a long hug then walked to the bed and sat down.

"When Payton was torturing me she said that the sun and the moon curse was just a cover up curse. The real curse is a curse that is placed on Klaus to keep his werewolf side dormant, and he wants to break it so he can be a hybrid" I explained to him

"Wow. And how does he break the curse" he asked sitting next to me

"All I know is that he needs a vampire, a werewolf, a doppleganger, and a witch. And he's going to use me as the witch"

He paused for a second

"There hasn't been a doppleganger for centuries" he said

Then I realized something

"He's going to use Elena" I said looking at him

He then looked back at me with shock

"Am I interrupting" I heard someone say at the door

I looked to see Klaus standing there

"No" I said

"Could you give me and Macy a minute" he asked looking at Aaron

Aaron looked at me then nodded and left the room

"So Klaus, tell me about this Hybrid curse" I said standing up

"Well... I have a werewolf gene in me and when I turned into a vampire my mother was afraid I would be to powerful as both a werewolf and a vampire so she put a spell upon me that conceals my werewolf gene" he explained moving to the window

"And you want to break it" I said

"Yes. You see, not most people like me and most of them want to kill me. But if I'm a Hybrid then they can't kill me" he explained

"Okay, understandable. But to break it you need a vampire, a werewolf, a doppleganger, and a witch. And I know that you're using me as the witch, and I'm guessing you're using Elena as the doppleganger"

"You're a very smart girl" he said grinning

"Yes I am.. Wait. How exactly do you break the curse" I asked

"First I need the moon stone, which happens to be in this town. And then comes the ritual. The ritual needs six things. One, a full moon. Two, the moonstone. Three, a vampire which I haven't quit chosen who. Four, a werewolf which I can easily find. Five, a doppleganger. Now this one was tricky to find, but it so happens that you're friends with one" he said looking at me

"Elena" I said

"Yes yes. And the final thing is a witch. Which is easy since I know you will be happy to help" he said

"It depends. What happens at the ritual" I asked

"You will perform the ritual by doing a series of spells. And there are three sacrifices that need to be made. The vampire, werewolf, and the dopeganger."

My heart stopped

"You mean Elena has to die?!" I asked

"Yes. It's a shame isn't it" he said

"No. Klaus she's my friend, and Stefan is dating her. I can't let her die" I said taking a step towards him

"Relax love. I'm sure you'll figure out a way to let her be sacrificed but still come back" he said walking towards the door

"What" I said, but he was already out of the room

I knew that Klaus would do whatever it takes to get this curse broken but I couldn't let Elena die

"You okay?"

I looked up to see Stefan and Damon walking into the room

"Yeah, I just wanna go home" I said walking towards them

"Okay, come on" Damon said

I decided it was best if I figured out more details about the whole Elena problem before I break the news to them

When we got back to the house I went up to my room and shut the door. I was in panic mode.

I can't let Elena die. There has to be a way to keep her alive

Then an idea came to me. There has to be a spell that can help. I went over to my bookshelf and pulled out my old Grimoire and flipped threw the pages

I stopped on a spell that caught my eye. I read threw it and it was perfect

Before the ritual I would cast a spell on Elena so that her soul goes into mine, then right after she dies I chant a spell and her soul transports back into her body

I closed the book and sighed. Now to tell Stefan and Damon..

Before heading downstairs, I changed into a sweatshirt and yoga shorts and tied my hair up in a ponytail.When I walked into the living room I saw that Damon was drinking some scotch and staring into the fire place, and Stefan was eating a sandwich and reading a book

"Hey, I have something I need to tell you guys" I said walking over and sitting down into the arm chair

They both looked at me and nodded

I explained to them all about the curse and about the ritual and how I'm the witch Klaus is using

"And there's one more thing"

"What" Stefan said

I looked at the floor

"In the ritual there are three sacrifices that takes place. A vampire, a werewolf... And a doppleganger"

They were both silent for a second

"We can't let that happen. Elena can't die" Stefan said

"Yeah, there has to be another way" Damon said getting up

"I know, and there is" I said standing up

"I found a spell that I can cast on Elena and her soul will be stored in my body. Then after she dies, I chant a spell and her soul returns to her body" I explained

"And you're sure it will work" Stefan said standing up

"Yes, and I can always use Orris" I said walking to the kitchen

Then there was a knock at the door. I opened the door to find Aaron

"Can I talk to you" he asked

"Yeah, sure" I said then walked outside and closed the door behind me

"What's up" I said

"I was just wondering if you found out more about the whole Klaus situation" he said

I explained to him everything Klaus told me about the curse and the ritual, and about the Elena stuff

"Macy, do you know what affect the spell will have on you" he said looking at me

"No"

"When Elena dies and you chant the spell to put her soul back in her body, you have an opening inside you. So when her soul comes out of your body, there's a chance that your soul will escape too and it'll kill you"

"Well... That's a risk I'm willing to take. And anyways, it's just a chance. And I'm pretty sure my soul likes where it is" I said

We talked for another minute or two about the curse and everything I have to do

"I have to go. I told my friend I'd help him move into his apartment" he said

"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow"

He nodded and walked to his car.

When I walked inside Damon was standing with Stefan in the kitchen

"So, anything new" Damon asked

"No, I just told him about the plan" I said then walked upstairs

I knew I couldn't tell Damon or Stefan about what Aaron told me. They would be to worried about me

When I got upstairs to my room I got into bed and turned out the lights. And in a minute, I was asleep

When I woke up I looked out the window and it was sunny and warm

I took a short shower and decided to wear a loose tank top with white shorts and converse

When I walked into the kitchen I poured myself a cup of coffee and opened to fridge to get cream and when I closed the fridge Damon appeared

"God, you scared the living hell out of me" I said glaring at him

"Sorry" he said grinning then lifted my chin up and kissed me, I kissed him back and smiled while looking into his deep blue eyes

"Didn't mean to bother you too" Stefan said walking in the kitchen "but we have a problem"

"What type of problem"I asked

"Jeremy knows"

"And how is that a problem" Damon asked walking over to the counter

"Because who knows who he'll tell" Stefan said

"Well then we just kill him" Damon said smirking

"Damon no. All we have to do is talk to him and clear things up" I said

"Yeah, I was just about to head over to Elena's so I'll talk to him" Stefan said

"Great" I said then walked in the living room and sat on the couch

After about an hour of total boredom I decided I wanted to go to the Grill

"Damon, I'm going to the Grill" I yelled up to him

"Ok be back by two. We need to talk about some stuff" he said yelling down to me

I shrugged and picked up my phone and left. When I got to the Grill I went and sat down at a booth in the back and ordered a sprite

I tried to think about anything but the fact that I might die trying to save Elena, but I the thought kept coming into my head

"You know you look much more lovely when you have a smile on your face" said a voice across from me

I looked up to see Klaus smiling at me

"Well it's hard when you have so much to frown about" I said looking across the room

"If it makes you feel any better I'm sorry for whatever is troubling you" he said looking at me

"Thanks"

"But anyways, when are you planing on breaking the curse" I asked him

"Not anytime soon. I want to spend some time here and get to know people" he said smiling at me

"Are you really flirting with me?" I asked laughing a little

"What, am I really that bad" he asked blushing a little

I just smiled and laughed a little

Hey guys, this is my first authors note and I just wanted to say I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in sooo long! I've been really busy but I promise I'll try harder to update faster

But how do you like it so fare? Don't like it.. Okay... Hahaa well anyways..
