35.Miss Mystic Falls

I walked threw the Boarding House and upstairs to my room. I quickly took a shower and shaved. I then dried my hair and loosely curled all of it before braiding two pieces from the front of my head and pinning them in the back, leaving two strands of hair loose in the front. I then moved onto my make-up, which consisted of a light smokey eye, a thin coat of eye liner, and a thick coat of mascara

"Good enough" I said as I looked at myself

I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my dress that was hanging on the hanger and neatly placed it into my bag before grabbing my phone and walked out of the house

I arrived at the Lockwood's around 3 and I noticed that there was about a hundred people already here. The front of the house was decorated with flowers and ribbons. Once inside I noticed everyone was wearing very nice clothing and every once and I while there would be a waiter handing out drinks

I walked outside to see the whole backyard decorated. The steps from the porch led down to a large, white concrete square that was about the size of a tennis court. On the left was a small stage that had a microphone set up with a 'Miss Mystic Falls' banner hanging above it. There were about twenty tables set up around the concrete center.

"Macy" I heard a familiar voice say

I turned my head to the right to see Tyler walking towards me

"Hey Tyler!" I say with a smile

He hugged me and once I pulled away I noticed he was wearing a nice suit

"My mom went all out" he said as he laughed sheepishly

"Yeah, it looks great though" I said looking around

"It better, it's all she's been talking about for the past month. My dad and I are relieved that we won't have to hear her talking about it 24/7" he chuckles at the last part

I laugh with him

"Yeah well I'm glad that Caroline won't be bickering about it anymore" I say as I laugh

"Speaking of, aren't you supposed to be up there with them getting ready?" he asks gesturing towards the house

"Oh yeah, Caroline's gonna kill me if I don't get up there"

"I'll help you find the room" he says as he guides me into the house and up the large staircase

He walked down a short hallway before entering a door at the end. And there sat Caroline and Elena with their dresses already on and their hair and makeup finished

"There you are!" Caroline exclaimed standing up

I turn to Tyler who stood behind me

"Thank you" I say while smiling

"No problem" he says before looking at Caroline and sends a flirty smile towards her before walking out of the room, closing the door behind him

"Get dressed! We go out in ten minutes!" she yells before pushing me into the small bathroom

I quickly pull out my long dress and slip out of my clothes and bring the dress up my body. I sigh as I realize I can't tie the back of the dress

"Can one of you tie this" I say walking out

"Sure" Elena says smiling as she walks over to me and starts tugging the strings up the dress until it is completely laced up

"No fair!" Caroline said as I turn around

I looked at her confused

"You look way better than me" she says while pouting and crossing her arms
