"So my mom is Ric's wife who Katherine wants to find?" Elena asked

"Yeah" Ric said

"But what confuses me is why Katherine would first of all, fake her death, second of all be looking for Isabel" Damon said

We were all trying to think of why but we just kept silent

"Well lets just keep looking. Maybe we'll find something" I said walking over to a bookshelf

I pulled out a book and when I did I felt this connection with it. I tried to open it but it wouldn't open.

"Hey, I think something important is in this book" I said turning around

"Why" Ric asked

"Because it's sealed with a spell. So whoever this book is about, they don't want anyone to read it" I said

"Then how do we open it" Elena asked

I then put a hand on the top of the book and started mumbling a spell. In a couple of seconds I stopped and then when I tried to open the book, it opened

"Like that" I said towards Elena

"Who is it about" Damon asked

I looked at the first couple of pages and it explained about who the Originals were

"The Originals" I said

Damon walked over to me and looked at the book

"It says that there are five siblings in the family. Klaus, Elijah, their sister Rebekah, brother Kol, and another brother Finn" I said reading the book

"Where do you think they are" Elena asked

"People probably got pissed at them and staked them over the years" Damon said

I flipped to a random page and it was about how to kill an Original

"Well according to this, you can't kill an Original with just any stake. It has to be either a special dagger dipped in white oak tree ash or with a white oak stake which there is only one of" I said

"Now where would a thousand year old dagger and a jar of ash from a tree be" Damon said

"I'm guessing Klaus has it" I said

"Yeah, I mean it's the only weapon that can kill him, so why wouldn't he have it" Ric said

"I just wanna know where the other Originals went" I said closing the book and putting it in Ric's bag

I checked my phone and saw it was four and that I needed to get home to get ready for my date with Klaus..

"I need to leave, so who's car should I take" I said looking at Damon

"Hey, you crashed my other car so you won't be driving my new car any time soon" he said glaring at me

"Hey" I said hitting him playfully

"I'll drive you" he said

"We'll stay here and see if there's more information about Katherine" Elena said

"Okay, call us if anything happens" Damon said and we left the room then went outside to his car

When we pulled out of Duke Damon looked at me

"What?" I asked

"You're going on a date with Klaus when we haven't even had a first real date" he said

I thought about it, and it was true. Me and Damon haven't been on a real date. Only back in 1873 when our parents made us go out to dinner together and we actually ended up liking it. But besides that, we haven't ever been on a date
