"What a dick" I said

I felt my face and I deep cuts on my cheek and forehead

"Macy, you need help" he said kneeling down next to me

"We just need to get to Duke" I said standing up. I was pretty weak and is as pretty sure I got a concussion but I could stand

"Here" he said putting an arm around my waist

We walked for about five minutes until we arrived at Duke

I saw Elena and Ric next to their car talking to Damon who was leaning against his car

"Over there" I said looking over at them

We started walking towards them and it didn't take long for Elena to see me and when she did she rushed over to me

"Macy! Oh my god what happened" she asked

"I'll be fine. I'm just a little weak" I said

"How did this happen?" Ric asked

I explained how the vampire popped the tired and how he told me the message and the fight that happened

Elena and Ric had worried looks but all Damon did was glare at Jake. I knew that he was jealous

Jake sat me down in the seat of Elena's car

"I need to go and get my truck and try to find out some stuff about that guy. But I'll call you later and tell you if I find anything" he said

I nodded

"Thanks" I said looking into his blue eyes

"Any time" he said flashing me a smile and then walking off

"I'm gonna go ask if someone knows where her office was" Ric said then walked off

"I'll park the car" Elena said and I got out of the car and walked over to Damon's car and leaned against it

When Elena drove off Damon stepped in front of me

"So when we get in a fight that's when you go off and get a new boyfriend" he said with hurt and anger in his eyes

"You're kidding right. Jake is just a friend, he gave me a ride and we're just friends" I said

"Sure" he said turning around

"Really? You're really doing this?"

He turned around

"Yes and you know why, because I love you to damn much to see you with anyone else." He said yelling at me

I just stood there and looked down. I guess I was flirting a little. But I was just mad at Damon

"Macy, I'm sorry. Feeding you my blood was wrong. And I won't ever do it unless you need me to. Please, don't be mad at me" he said holding my hand

"No Damon its okay, I could never stay mad at you" I said looking up at him

I leaned up and kissed him then pulled him into a hug. It felt good to be in his arms and to feel safe again

"Good you two made up"

I turned around and saw Ric walking towards us

"Did you find anything about where her office is" Elena asked approaching us

"Yeah, follow me" he said turning around and walking towards the front door of the office building

We followed him into the building and down the hall and into a room with books and two desks. There was a women standing by one of the desks reading a book

"Hi, you must be Alaric" she said getting up and putting her book down

"Yes, and this is Damon, Macy, and Elena" Ric said introducing us

"Hello, I'm Isabel's old secretary" she said "I'll show you to her old office, it's right over here" she said turning around and walking threw a door and into a room with bookshelf's lining the wall and a desk in the corner

"I'll be right back, feel free to look around" she said then left the room

"Okay, everyone try to find any information that will help us with Katherine" Damon said

I walked over to one of the bookshelf's and pulled out a book that said Petrova

"What was Katherine's last name?" I asked looking at the book

"Peirce but her original name was Petrova" Damon said from the other side of the room

"I'm gonna go see if I can find where the secretary ran off too" Damon said then left the room

I opened the book and stopped on a page that said the name Katerina.

"Guys, I might have found something" I said turning around

"What" Elena asked coming over to me and looking at the book

"It says that Katherine had a child but had to give it away because it was a shame of her family. And that she kept it a secret" I said

I then heard the door open and I saw the secretary at the door with a cross bow aiming for Elena. She shot the arrow but before it hit Elena I stepped I front of her and it went into my chest.

"Macy no!" Elena yelled from behind me

I fell over onto the floor and whimpered in pain. The arrow missed my heart by an inch

"Oh my god Macy!" Alaric said rushing towards me and kneeling down onto the floor

Then there was a noise on the other side of the room and I looked over to see Damon pinning the secretary up against the wall

"Why the hell did you just do that?!" Elena asked yelling at her

"I know who you are, you're Katherine" she said in fear

There was silence

"First of all I'm not Katherine, I'm get doppelgänger and second, how do you know her?" Elena asked

"I'll tell you once he lets me go" she said looking at Damon

Damon glared at her and then let her go

"As much as I'm loving this situation, but can someone please get the arrow out of me" I said faintly

Damon came over to me and pulled the arrow out then helped me to my feet and sat me down in a chair

Elena and the secretary started talking about how Elena is Katherine's doppelgänger and Ric was looking threw the book shelfs

Damon knelt down next to me

"I left the room for one minute and I come back to see you lying on the floor with an arrow in you" he said

"What can I say, danger just loves me" I said sarcastically

He laughed a little then showed his fangs and bit his wrist then held it to my mouth. I swallowed some of the blood then whipped my mouth. My wound was gone and I felt fine

"Thank you" I said looking at Damon

He smiled and kissed my forehead

I then got up and joined Elena and the secretary's conversation

"I saw Katherine a month ago, she was looking for Isabel and she wasnt settle about it" the secretary said

I walked over to the desk and picked up a picture from it and my heart skipped a beat. The picture was of Elena's mom and Ric

"Oh my god" I said

"What" Ric asked

I turned around and showed then the picture

"This is Elena's mom.. Isabel" I said

"Oh my god." Elena whispered

"So Elena's mom is Ric's wife" Damon said

"Yes, and the women you turned into a vampire" Ric said

Damon shrugged

"Small world" he said

Hey, sorry that it's such short chapter but hey, I'm working on it

Well Damon and Macy made up, yay!
But what do y'all think of Jake??? Do you guys think that Macy and him would be a cute couple?

And what about Klaus and Macy? Their going on a date, and who knows, maybe Macy will fall for him..

Hmmm

I don't know, y'all will just have to keep reading.
