Mukha ni Nathan ang tumambad sa kanya pag-gising niya.
"Nate? Why are you here?" sumilip siya sa labas mula sa nakabukas na bintana, "it's already dark."
"Kinukumusta po kita. How do you feel?"
"Para ka namang si Mommy. Okay lang ako no. Napagod lang talaga ako kanina."
"Nag-aalala lang naman kasi kami sayo eh!" Hinaplos nito ang noo niya. Pakiramdam niya ay may mga dagang naghahabulan sa dibdib niya. "Siya nga pala! May good news ako Ash!"
"Ano yun?" Excited niyang tanong sabay bangon at umayos ng upo sa kama.
"Ash! Sa wakas! Sinagot na ako ni Audrey!" Kitang-kita niya sa mga mata nito ang kaligayahan.
She still manage to smile even though deep inside her, she feels like crying. Seems like tiny needles are jabbing pain in her chest. "Really? Well, ... I ... I'm happy for you."
"Thanks Ash! Thanks for everything. For being such a very helpful bestfriend. Salamat at tinulungan mo ako."
"W...wala yun! Para saan pa't naging magb-best..friend tayo."Umakto siyang humihikab. Gusto na niyang umalis ito. She don't want him to notice that she's hurt.
Mukha namang effective. Nagpaalam narin si Nathan.
She bid him goodbye.
When the door was closed, she burst into cry.
