Chapter Eleven

The holidays had passed and Hoseok and Jimin were now back in school. For Christmas, they got each other presents under a budget so that neither of them would feel awkward since they would have gotten the other something of equal worth. Hoseok ended up getting Jimin a personalised bracelet that says 'never lose hope' on it, Jimin loved it and giggled at him while Hoseok put it on his boyfriend. Jimin bought Hoseok the new Call of Duty game which made Hoseok jump around happily and he thanked Jimin multiple times while hugging him.

However, the festive season was now over and the boys found themselves walking together to school. Even though they were already together, they didn't appreciate each other any less than they did when they weren't dating. With every look they still made each other breathless and flustered, no matter how used to each other they got. With every hug, they were still left in a daze, you could call it love, but neither of them did.
When they both got to school, instead of Hoseok going to the back of the school like usual, he went with Jimin to the library where he would finally meet Jimin's best friends.

They entered the library and were instantly greeted with the aroma from the books which, Hoseok had to admit, smelt really good. Jimin grabbed Hoseok's wrist and pulled him towards a circular table near the back of the library. Hoseok looked over at the table and saw Jeon Jungkook, Kim Seokjin, Amber Liu and Kim Taehyung. Hoseok remembered that Yoongi was dating Taehyung and he started wondering if Jimin or his friends knew.

"Hey guys!" Jimin greeted excitedly, they all started to reply but once they looked up from their phones all of their jaws dropped.
"Not to be rude or anything, but why is he here?" Jin asked while raising an eyebrow and Hoseok, who was currently standing awkwardly next to Jimin.

Amber and Jungkook shared some looks before they both broke out into grins and started sniggering. Hoseok and Jimin started smiling as they realised they caught on.

"Wait, are you two serious?" Amber exclaimed in amazement.
Taehyung and Jin looked at them all in confusion since they had no idea what was happening.

"Okay, can someone tell me what's going on? Because I'm really confused." Taehyung mumbled.
Jimin looked at Hoseok as if to ask if it was okay, Hoseok nodded and Jimin immediately turned to his friends to speak.

"Hoseok and I... we're together!" He whisper-yelled to the group. There was a few moments of silence before they broke out into a cheer. Making heads raise to look at them in annoyance and the librarian shushing them to be quiet. Hoseok was surprised, to say the least. This wasn't the reaction he would've have gotten from his friends, except maybe Yoongi.

Jimin's friends all got up from their seats and hugged Hoseok while patting him, but Hoseok noticed how Jin took slightly longer to get up and congratulate them. However, Hoseok shrugged it off. Taehyung took it upon himself to welcome Hoseok into the squad, making Hoseok and Jimin smile widely. Jimin couldn't be happier because his friends were so supportive. But maybe not all of them.

After Hoseok had left for his lesson with a quick peck on Jimin's lips, Jin walked with Jimin to their shared class.
"Are you sure about him?" Jin mumbled
Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and stopped walking,
"Why wouldn't I be?" Jimin slowly said while he stood in front of Jin. The latter looked down at his feet.
"I don't know, maybe because of who he hangs out with? You know what his friends are like." He continued "I mean, they've beaten you up countless times, and don't forget that time when he saw it happen and didn't stop them from hurting you!"
