I woke up to a text from Sarah saying that we didn't have class today, which was fun and exiting to know. Since I was up I decided to go down in the lobby and check my mailbox.
" Hey, how are you doing?"
" Aw hey and I'm doing fine. What about you?" I asked the receptionist.
" Sticking in there." I started laughing at him then I unlocked my mailbox to find one thick envelope. I decided to wait until I get back into my condo to open it up.
As soon as I unlocked the door, I sat the keys on the counter and sat down on the couch. The whole envelope was a thick phone bill history letting me know my mom has cut me off from plan and will not be paying my bill. Now, I know I need a job at first I knew I was going to be fine because she was going to pay for everything but now I need a legit job. Chris was gone all yesterday and he so happened walked in the door.
" Wassup Cece." He bent down and kissed my cheek.
" Hi."
" Uh.. what's up with you?" He asked as he got a bottle of water out the fridge.
" Well, I'm going to need a job because my mom has stopped paying for my phone bills, so I know she will not for any bills around here." I said as holding up the envelope.
" I can pay for everything until you get a job."
" No Chris, I'm not putting all that pressure on you. I will go out today and find a job, I can probably even work with my dad he have his own construction business."
" It's okay baby." He said when he walked over to me then pecked me on the forehead.
" Now, you go get your pretty self ready for breakfast."
" Chris, it's eight something in the morning. I'm just going to go get some rest and find me a job tomorrow."
" Okay, well night night." I laughed at him.
1:16 p.m.
I jumped out of bed and started doing my hygiene then I left out the house to head down to the college building to see if they had any jobs available.
" Nope, I'm sorry you should have a lil bit earlier it was a minute until everybody found out they we give out jobs."
" Are you kidding me?"
" Hey, go and ask your mom she may can help you out." She whispered, only some coworkers know that the dean is my mom.
" Uh.. no thanks." I was about to walk away until she said something that drew my attention.
" Look, I have one more spot."
" Okay where is it?"
" Well.. here goes the address and I wish you luck." I grabbed the paper and left out the building.
I approached this mall, so I went into the store that had the sign Help Wanted on the paper or on the business window. I saw one store and it was Victoria Secret and the other one was American Eagle Outfitters, I decided to try the American Eagles store because all that perfume can give me a headache or send me home smelling good.
" Hey, are you guys hiring?"
" Yeah take this paper and bring it by either tomorrow or Sunday but it have to be before Thanksgiving."
" That's on Thursday."
" Yeah I know, so bring it before then."
" Okay, well thanks." I was looking at the paper until I bumped into somebody.
" Oh, I'm so sorry." I did a quick look then looked back down. As I was coming outside, I seen my car getting towed.
" No, No, No what are you doing?"
" For one you didn't pay your insurance today and you parked in a handicap parking space and you do not have a handicap sticker nor look handicap."
" How much do I have to pay?"
" Well around 300 to 400 dollars, but that's not even including the 100 dollars they are adding for you not having the handicap sticker."
" What?"
" Sorry ma'am have a nice day."
" How?" I yelled at him when he drove off. I quickly called up Sarah and told her to pick me up.
" Damn, your mama ain't playing, huh?"
" I guess not, but girl.. I'm so done with her."
" Hey calm down."
" No fuck that Sarah, that's the damn problem I've been so damn cool and collective about everyth-" All of a sudden, I heard a baby crying.
" What the hell, Sarah?"
" What?"
" Omg, the doll.. lemme see if Chris have the doll."
" Hello, Chris?"
" Do you have the doll?"
" Aw, thank you.. you is the best."
" Alright bye bye."
" And y'all say that y'all are just friends."
" We are Sarah, out of all people you know I'm not ready for that relationship lifestyle again."
" You will be fine, trust me but what I'm going for you to do is trust Chris."
" Okay, you right so what do I do or say?"
" Just be yourself and hopefully you will have some new tip to get on excluding mines." She smiled at me as she stopped in front of my condo building.
" Oh shut up,but thanks girl for the ride and be safe."
" Alright, I got you."
I walked into my house and seen Chris with the doll on his chest just sleeping.
" Aw." I said to myself then took a quick picture then I decided to take my current clothes off and put on something much comfortable, such as a large tee with pajama shorts. As I was picking up his trash, I felt somebody grab my butt.
" Christopher?"
" Huh?" He jumped up right out of his sleep.
" You just grabbed my ass."
" Oh, my bad baby." Then he started rubbing on it.
" Chris?" I called his name while laughing.
" Yeah."
" Uh.. What are you doing?"
" I'm making my baby butt feel better."
" Why you keep calling me your baby? I am happily single."
" Are you now?"
" Boy, I'm not about to play with you." I said while laughing because he actually think we go out.
" Hey Celine, can I ask you something?"
" Yeah sure, wassup?"
" Well.. I wanna know what it have to take for me to be yours." I had to remember what Sarah said.
" Chris, I told you this before but I give you a chance I'm not up for the games and bullshit."
" Ooo, did my baby just curse?" He said and I started laughing at him.
" Omg all I said was bullshit."
" Ooo, I'm telling." He said while I fell back on the couch and he was on top just kissing me.
" So, Ms.Celine, you my baby now?"
" I don't know, Chris, am I?" I started laughing.
" You know what.." Then the doll started crying.
" Uh mommy duties, daddy done had her all day." He tossed me her, lucky I caught her then the doorbell rang.
" Aye man, that shit was crazy earlier but you ready.. you know I got the weed." He whispered the last part, so I don't know what he said.
" Hey baby, look I'm going to go and um hang with the boys."
" Yeah okay." I sat on the couch with the doll then Chris started rapidly kissing my lips and cheek then left out the house.

" Aye, we gonna do this drop at that club right there and I'm trying to make it quick."
" Alright." I nod my head then got out the car. I was moving through the crowd until I bumped into some girl and she accidentally spilled her drink on some dude behind her. All of a sudden, he slapped her.
" Hey, man what you doing?"
" You must want one, too?"
" Trust me I do worse than a bitch slap." Then the guy I came with, Rod, came and pulled me to the side.
" What the hell you doing?"
" What you mean homeboy just put his motherfucking hands on a female."
" Yo, let's go before anymore shit go down."
We walked outside to get in Rod car then all of a sudden, I feel a punch to my face then a jab to the stomach so I reached for anything I could get a hope to and it was my gun so I fired it then I got up and got in the car.
" Did anybody get hit?" I asked Rod.
" Man, not that I know of."

" Hey boss word just got around town that your brother have been shot."
" Man what?"
" Yeah, your brother have been shot and they thinking that he not gone make it."
" Find the bastard who did it so we can make sure he don't make it."
