"Shane!" I stop instantly as my name is called. I twist and soar down to the ground below.

"Shane!"

I land in a crouch then stand up and shove through the brush.

"Shane!" she shouts again as I finally reach her.

Luke looks between us then over at me.

"If you harm her. I will, kill you." he hisses and I look between them confused. Christina steps forward and I look at her.

"Shane." she says gently and I step forward.

"You told me to leave. Why have you called me back?" I ask gently. She walks over to me, tears falling from her eyes. I reach out to her and breathe normal, finding she lets me pull her against me.

"Luke?" I ask. But he can't even bare to flash a glance at me.

"Just take care of her." he whispers and I look down at Christina.

"Let's go." she says gently. Scared to look back at Luke.

"Christina!" Luke shouts as we go to push through the brush. Christina slowly turns around as he runs over. He pulls her into a tight hug and she takes a deep breath.

"Just be safe ok?" she asks

"I'll be ok. We'll be ok." I hear him whisper slowly releasing her.

"I love you Christina. No matter your choice. Just don't forget that." he whispers and I shove the anger down yet again.

It's not exactly shocking that Luke has feelings for Christina...

"I won't." she whispers then backs away from him. She moves back over to me and I slowly put an arm around her. She tenses, but doesn't try to get away. I look up at the sky then flip my wings out and jump. Her in my grip.

I continue to trudge through the forest. Everything aches and exhaustion is pulling at me. But none the less, I continue on. I see The Shadow Queen's castle come into view and I walk up to it. I kick open the door and walk inside.

"Ah Lucas. It's been awhile."

I slowly turn around. The beautiful lady standing their in nothing but a silk robe. Her hair is down and wet. And the robe hugs her, showing off everything she has to offer. I shake my head and hold up the necklace.

"You put a charm on it." I bite out and she laughs

"Wow took you two long enough. Where is your lover anyways?" she asks and I keep a straight face.

"She didn't come on this trip with me. She had other businesses to attend to." I say and she smirks clapping her hands together.

"What with Shane?" she asks and I tense but say nothing.

"Figures. Well please, come into my chambers. We can talk getting that nasty charm off of that powerful amulet."

"What's the catch witch?" I ask and she shrugs.

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." she says then motions for me to follow her. I do just that, and we walk into the bedroom.

"So, have you run into my greedy brother, Alec anymore?"

"No." I say as she pulls off the robe with no guilt, as she shows everything to me. She's beautiful yes, but I will not betray Christina.

"No? Ah so you've made a new enemy." she says gently taking her petty time to throw clothes on.
