My handwriting had gotten better as I wrote in my notebook. My first lessons were about vampires. I already knew that it depends on the vampire on how resistant they are to the sunlight otherwise they turned into ash. They can only come in homes if invited. They have excellent eyesight in both daylight and night. They have amazing speed. They drink blood.
Garlic is a myth. A stake to the heart would kill anybody. Crosses don't bother them. All that affects a vampire is silver and holy water, it either burns them or kills them depending on how it is used. They have inhuman strength. There are two types of vampires, born and turned. Born is exactly as it means. Two vampires get together and have a baby. Turned are people who were turned into vampire by another, this is a rare occasion but it happens. Then Vladimir got into the history of the vampires which I tuned out most of it. Right now, I just wanted to know some facts and my strengths and weaknesses when I'm in my other forms. I wanted to learn how to survive first before history.
Vladimir noticed my sudden change and had Azrael take the stage. He came over and sat down on the other side of me while Seth had the other. Azrael then went onto his lecture. So far, I knew about my wings. And that's about it.
Azrael told me that I could have a long life. Almost immortal. We could use holy fire swords. As of now there are no known things that can harm an angel. I mentally sighed with relief, at lease I'll be safe in that form. He then went little into their history before he turned the stage on to Kera. The only thing I knew of my demon heritage is that it wants to kill me.
Demons are summoned everyday. They survive on energies like angels. Each demon is different for their powers. Since I turned eighteen, Kera was absolutely sure that my demonic powers would rise soon and then I would be trained. Demons are weak against some holy objects such as crosses, water and angelic steel. Demons have the ability to posses people. They also have superior strength and cunning.
After the little history with demons, Kera then talked about my mermaid heritage. We were able to breathe under water and talk with sea creatures, sometimes land creatures. We have an upper half of human while the lower part of me is fish. There wasn't anything that wouldn't kill a mermaid. They are just like humans only slight differences. After the brief history on that, it was time for lunch. Seth had cooked me some spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread to the side. Gods I loved it how he could cook. While eating I couldn't help but think about Caelan and how he made me broth when I was sick. Sadness washed over my features worrying Seth. Shaking away my thoughts, I finished my meal and Tala came up to teach me about my witch heritage. So far I learned that they were humans with powers to control just about anything. They were only a little harder to kill. They had to be killed by magic instead of like stabbings or gunshots. She said that she would teach me some spells once my body was fully healed. I think one more day I would be back on my feet learning spells or anything else they wanted to teach me.

That night I kept thinking about the results the Council were going to provide. I asked my grandparents and Seth if they knew about more than one mate and they had no clue. Many different outcomes plagued my mind. I only hoped that it was good news, but then again any news would be good now instead of walking through the darkness.
Finally my brain found some peace and fell asleep as soon it could. I ended up in the same dark room that I've been visiting frequently.
"Look who's finally here." Tiana smirked.
"I thought you got lost." Donohue teased.
"Oh hush you guys. I had a hard time sleeping." I sat down in front of them. "So much information is flying around my brain, I'm surprised the gears didn't fly everywhere and steam came out of my ears from overworking it."
"I think I did see a couple bolts fly earlier." Tiana snickered. I rolled my eyes. Suddenly someone touched my shoulder, making me jump into Donohue's arms.
"My hero." I placed my hand to my forehead, acting like those damsels in distress. Donohue chuckled as I turned around and found a tall handsome man staring at me. He actually looked like he was crafted by hands, everything looked so perfect. He had shoulder length white hair and gold eyes. What really caught my eye was the black wings that were attached to his back. "You're my Angel heritage." I smiled as he nodded. "What's your name?"
"Dangelo." He smiled softly. I subconsciously got to my feet and walked around him. He was perfect in every angle like Donohue.
"A beautiful name for a handsome man." I gave him a hug which startled him a bit.
"Oh by the way Dangelo she's a hugger." Donohue grinned.
"I can see that." Dangelo laughed.
"I think I'm becoming narcissus. I'm falling in love with myself." I eyed the two men, who blushed uncontrollably. Tiana chuckled at their reaction. Three different clearing of throats brought my attention behind me. The first one I saw was a girl with long strawberry blonde hair, little light freckles scattered around her nose which drew me to her purple eyes. She smiled happily as she leaned on a broom and stared at me.
"Hiya the names Alvine. I'm your witch heritage."
"Hi Alvine." I smiled back. "It's good to finally meet you."
The next one to appear was another girl. Her hair was red and braid beautifully into a crown while the rest hung down. She had ocean blue eyes. Her smile was perfect. She had a tail of a fish and it was sky blue.
"Hi Aiyana, I'm Latifah. I'm your mermaid heritage."
"Hi Latifah. It's good to finally meet you."
The last one was a handsome man who stood strong and proud. His eyes were like Kera's, gold and embers in the pupil. His black hair was messy and spiked, kind of looks like he just got out of bed. He looked angry.
"The names Loki and don't forget it." He spat.
"As in the God of trickery. Great." I mumbled the last part. I took a deep breath before I straightened to my full height and walked over to him. "May I ask why you tried to take over my body?" I poked him in the chest.
"I am a demon. Demons always posses people to do our bidding."
I smiled evilly. "You don't say." He looked at me with caution but nothing more. A rope appeared and landed in my hands. I snapped it, making him tense. I crept up to him as he took a step back. Before he could make a break for it, I used Donohue's speed and tackled him. I tied his arms and feet behind him. His head slightly tilted back. Somehow I found something to tie the rope on and he was now dangling in the air. "Now what should I do to you?" I smirked. He glared at me. I put his face in between my hands as I examined him. He was pretty cute when he wasn't rude. Suddenly I kissed him, which shocked the hell out of him. "There now you are mine." I smiled at my victory.
                                ****
Aiyana?! I heard a whisper.
Hello?
About time you answered! I've been trying to contact you for at least two hours. Cleo shouted through the link.
Sorry. I was asleep. I have to sleep during the day because of the vampires.
That sucks. Cleo was silent for a minute. If your planning on going out, make sure you use your other form.
     Why?
     Caelan is coming.
Great! I groaned. Thank you for the warning. So how's your relationship going?
I'm officially a mated woman. She screamed happily. I blushed. I knew what that meant and now it was going to give me weird thoughts.
Congratulations. I wish I could take you out and party because of that but...
I can try to sneak out tonight and have a girls night.
Cool. Maybe I can have Seth give me some money. I chuckled.
Seth?
     My supposed vampire mate.
Ah. Well where do you want me to meet you.
You can come to my hotel. Just say your going shopping or something.
I gave her the address of my hotel and said goodbye after she ranted many times that I had to wear a clubbing dress. I groaned. Of what I remembered I didn't have one. I pinched the bridge of my nose and stared at the ceiling. The sun was peeking through the shade. Groggily getting to my feet, I shuffled over to the bathroom.
Fifteen minutes later, I was fully refreshed. I dressed in a baby blue sundress and white flats. Coming out of the bedroom, I saw that everyone was awake, including Seth. What was he doing up now?
"Hi guys. What are you doing up?" I asked everyone. Everyone shrugged there shoulders before going back to whatever they were doing. I chuckled before I ran up to Vladimir. "Papi?"
"Yes little one." He looked up from his book and stared at me.
"I was wondering if you knew any place to get a clubbing dress I think it was called?"
"Why do you want a dress?"
"Cleo is now mated to Alaster and I wanted to celebrate with her." I looked to the clock. She said that she was going to be here in seven hours. Good amount of time to get a dress and get ready.
"Ah I see." He set the book down on the coffee table. "I'll take you."
    "But there is a problem."
"What's that?" He cocked his eyebrow.
"Caelan's here. According to Cleo, he left last night and has been searching for me. I'm going to have to use my witch heritage form."
"Alright that is no problem." Vladimir patted my head and smiled. "We don't want him to find you."
     "No we don't."
"Where you going?" Seth leaned on the bar stand and examined my body.
"Going shopping. I'm in dire need of a clubbing dress."
"A clubbing dress. Why do you need that?" Seth's eyebrow cocked.
"My friend just recently finished her mating bond."
     "Mating bond?"
     "Werewolf." I smiled.
"Ah. I'll go with too." He pushed of the stand and grabbed his jacket.
     "Don't the sun bother you."
"Not at all. I'm just as old as Vlad here." He tugged his jacket on. "It's just easier to feed when it's at night."
"Oh." My stomach churned when I thought about the feeding. Seth started to yank my arm. "Wait, there is something I have to do first."
"Alright." Seth nodded and let go of me. Vladimir gently touched my shoulder before standing next to Seth. I took a deep breath and concentrated on Alvine. Suddenly I felt my body change but I was glad all may females were the same size. Once I heard a couple of gasps, I figured out that my change was done. Peeling open my eyes, I looked down at my hair and found it strawberry blonde.
"How do I look?" I twirled around.
"Different." Vladimir chuckled while everyone else examined me. Seth eyed me suspiciously.
"What you don't like?" I pretended to pout.
"I do but I like your other form better."
"I'm using Alvine cause my mate is here and I don't need another force change. So it's either this or nothing. I need to stay like this outside the hotel until I find out what's going on."
"Alright." He held up his hands in surrender. "No harm done. I was just saying."
"Good." I grabbed Seth's and Vladimir's arm and tugged them out the door, shouting goodbye to everybody.
                                ****
After stopping at a diner to eat because of my annoying stomach, we were getting close to the dress shop. I was laughing and skipping ahead of Vladimir and Seth, who just smiled at me. Suddenly I ran into someone's chest. I backed up and held my nose tight.
"Sorry about that." I looked up at the person and came face to face with Caelan. Out of all the people in this place it had to be Caelan.
He smiled down at me. "It's my fault. Sorry about that."
Seth and Vladimir came up next to me. Seth wrapped his arm around my waist. I wanted to look normal as possible. Caelan tore his eyes from me and stared at Vladimir.
"Vladimir, have you seen Aiyana?" He asked my grandfather.
"If I found her, I would have notified you by now wouldn't I."
"True." He eyed me one more time before bowing his head and saying his goodbyes. My heart hurt as he walked away. Many emotions threatened to surface.
Aiyana if you keep this up, you're gonna lose my appearance. Alvine warned me but I couldn't stop them. Suddenly I felt my body change and I could smell my regular scent. The buildings passed us fast and we were now in an alley.
"Aiyana change back. He's going to find us soon." Vladimir warned. Pushing down my emotions, I changed back to Alvine.
"I'm sorry. It's just I don't like lying to him. I want to tell him everything but how can I when I don't know for myself." I sniffed.
"It's okay. We'll find out soon." Vladimir said with a weak smile. I nodded as Seth pulled me into a hug, covering what was left of my scent with his.
"Thank goodness we came down this alley. It's a short cut to the dress shop." Seth smiled and gently touched my cheek. "I'm not sure what is going on but I promise I'll help you any way possible." He pecked my cheek before he clasped my hand and dragged me along, shocked.
Once we entered the shop, I was greeted by ten people, which honestly scared the crap out of me. I hid behind Vladimir and Seth as I eyed the people. They looked between us with confusion.
"Sorry about that. She's not used to this much attention." Seth smiled a charming smile. The girls started sighing. I could swear I could see little hearts in their eyes. Their gazes locked back onto me once he pushed me forward and they weren't too friendly.
"I think I'll find one with Vladimir. You have a nice chat with these ladies." I said as I tugged on my grandfathers arm. He chuckled and followed along. My heart hurt at the sudden attention Seth got. But I decided that I was best if I left him with them. I knew they would sabotage me one way or another.
I scoured through the racks of dresses. I couldn't find one. I truly wanted Sage here, she always knew which one would fit my color better and what sex appeal it brought out. My cheeks heated at that last part. Sighing I went back to my search. Vladimir showed me many too appropriate dresses. I shook my head to all of them. I was going out clubbing, not going to a tea party back in the 1800s. I thought about Alvine's hair and eyes and mine. I wanted a dress to compliment both of them. I tried many red, blues, purples, greens but nothing seemed to match. Finally I found a strapless short cocktail dress with a slit on the right thigh and the color said it was sea foam. This color went beautifully with both of them. I found the dress I wanted. I went over to Vladimir and showed him the dress.
He eyed the dress then me, giving me the really look. But in the end I won and he nodded. I smiled as he took me up to the counter. Seth was still talking to the women, which started to piss me off. Seth then noticed me.
"Did you even try that on?" Seth smiled at me.
"No. I know it's my dress size." I blushed and turned my attention back onto the dress.
"But every dress is different." He whispered in my ear. "Why don't you try it on and then show me and Vlad?"
     "But..."
"No buts." He started to push me to the changing room. Once inside, I locked it and sighed aggravated then chuckled. He can be charming at times. I started to undress when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and peeked around it. But I was forcibly shoved back. I hit my head against the wall and mirror. Pulling myself up, I looked up and found some of the girls standing before me. I touched the back of my head, feeling a warm liquid. I winced at the sudden burst of pain. "Why are you doing this to me?" I softly asked. My Omega reaching its surface again.
"Seth has never been interested in girls like you before. So what's your deal?"
"Did you ever stop to think I am a relative?" I struggled to stand, my world spinning.
"We know he has no family."
"A friend perhaps. It does happen. Geez. I just came to get a dress. I have a night out tonight. Now can you leave so I can see if it fits and I'll be out of your hair." I hissed, Tiana taking over. The women flinched at my sudden reaction. They left before something else could happen. I reached back to see if it was still bleeding. It was. I suddenly remembered that Alvine was human. Closing my door tightly, I took a deep breath and changed back to me.
Are you okay Alvine?
Yeah, just a little headache. Should be fine after you heal.
Okay I'll try this on and check on you later. Rest up.
      Okay. Thank you Aiyana.
      No. Thank you.
I slipped into the dress. It fit perfectly to my curves. It did well to match my skin tone and my hair. I was afraid that they wouldn't be okay with my dress. I turned around doing a look over and was satisfied. I quickly changed back into my other clothes so I wouldn't get any blood on this one. Once it was neatly folded, I changed back to Alvine.
Sorry it's so soon.
It's alright. At least my world isn't spinning any more.
That's good. I smiled before changing back into her. I slipped out of the dressing room and hurried over to Vladimir and Seth. They both looked worried. I wanted to say something but I could feel the intense stares come from the girls. Vladimir brought me up to the counter, ready to pay for it but Seth jumped in. He swiped his card before Vladimir could. My heart clenched in a slight fear as I sensed their anger rise. I bit my lip as the man placed the dress into a bag and handed it to me. I quickly thanked him before I hurried out the door, whispering my thanks to Seth. I was down three blocks before I slowed down. Tears already traced down my face. I furiously wiped at my face. Sometimes I really hated my emotions, I wish they could just go away. I smashed against someone again. I backed up and mumbled an apology.
"Hey pretty lady. Where is a lovely lass like you going?" A males voice rang. The pungent smell of alcohol all over his breath made me want to gag. He was beyond the normal amount.
"Home." I said without looking up at him. I walked passed him but he roughly grabbed ahold of my arm. "Let go of me."
"How about you spend some time with me?"
"No. Please let me go." I started to pull away from him. He was too powerful. I looked up and realized that he was a warlock. My breath hitched as I realized how much danger I was in.
"So you finally realized how much your attracted to me?"
"No." I tugged again. I could already feel a bruise starting to form. Great that's going to look real attractive. "Let go of me." I hissed. Before he could say anything, his eyes went behind me. He immediately let go and ran away. I rubbed my sore arm.
"Are you okay miss?" The familiar voice made shivers go down my spine. I slowly turned around and saw Caelan standing there, worry and concern filled in his eyes. I swallowed hard and gave a nod. "Oh good." He noticed the bruise on my arm and then gave a skeptical look. "Doesn't look it?"
"I bruise easy." I said looking down. Many emotions were emerging. I needed to get away from him or I was going to reveal myself to him. "I'm honestly okay."
"Let me treat you to something then. I'll call Vladimir to come pick you up."
"Thank you." I smiled as he guided me to a nearby diner. I slowly slid into the seat opposite of him and placed the bag next to me. I really hoped Vladimir and Seth hurried soon.
