After the howls died, my head wouldn't let them go. My heart ached. I walked behind the Alpha with the Beta right next to me. They probably think I was going to escape but I wouldn't put my family in jeopardy for my own freedom.

"Hey." They gray Beta said, catching my attention. "I'm sorry about this."

"No you aren't." I mumbled angrily.

"Yes I am. But we thought it would be healthier for you if you join a shifter pack instead of a regular pack."

"What the hell do you know? I was happy where I was. And what is a shifter?"

The gray Beta was shocked for a moment before he erupted with laughter. "You're a fighter aren't ya? Were you a warrior?"

"Not even close. I was a worthless Omega." I hissed.

That stopped both the Alpha and the Beta.

"And you were happy there?" The gray Beta asked.

"Every sliver of pain was worth it because I had my family. You so called shifters wouldn't understand." I flattened my ears as I kept on walking. "Come on. We better get to who knows where before the other packs start."

"You honestly don't know what a shifter is do you?" The gray Beta pestered.

"No but I put pieces together. I always knew I was different in my pack but I didn't like it to be thrown in my face." I snapped. "I figured that a shifter is a human who can shift into a wolf. Macho man over here proved it."

    "You didn't notice yourself."

"No. My family considered me a gift from the gods."

"But now that you know that you're a shifter, you know that those wolves weren't your real parents." The Alpha said.

"I knew that they weren't my real family before you numbskulls even got here. My real parents gave me up and those wolves took me in. No offense those wolves are more family than those pieces of shit of shifter parents." I emphasized those wolves long enough for them to understand and leave me alone. "Now can you shut up and leave me alone. And don't get status on me, cuz right now I don't give a shit."

With that, they left me alone but I could see the flicker of approval in the other wolves' eyes. I took it not many stood up to these two. The gray Beta looked at me one more time before catching up to the Alpha. I sighed as I was left alone with my thoughts and it was dangerous right about now. I needed other people besides these two assholes. As if someone read my mind, a brown she wolf waltz up beside me.

    "I'm Cleo." She smiled.

    "Aiyana." I mumbled.

    "What a beautiful name!"

"Thank you my parents gave me that name."

"They looked like wonderful parents. What does your name mean?"

"It means Eternal Blossom." I blushed at the embarrassment. That was the first time I had to explain my name meaning to someone else. "Cleo is a nice name too. It means praise, right?"

"Wow. That's right. You're a very smart girl. Not many know name meanings." Cleo smiled.

"I know this isn't their name meaning but there must be a reference of asshole for those two." I whispered as I motioned my head to their direction.
