I looked around to find the owner of that voice. Suddenly the pack started to separate like the Red Sea. In the center was a tall man in his twenties. His short black hair reminded me of a raven. His spooky blue eyes raked up and down my body. He looked scrawny but no one dared to move a muscle. I stood and walked up to him, my wings at the ready if needed be. He smiled at me which only fueled my anger. I brought back my hand and slapped him across the face.
"How dare you!" I growled. "I don't care who you think you are but I will not tolerate anybody hurting my pack and my guests. If you value your life, leave." I could already feel my body shaking from my rage.
"Now now. Is that any way to treat your future husband?" The guy smiled.
"Future what?" My body stopped its violent shaking of rage and turned into laughter. "You must be joking." I held my sides as my laughter continued. His smile turned into a frown. When I finished with my laughing session, I wiped the tears away. "I don't know who said you were my future husband but I already found my soul mates."
This time it was his turn to laugh. "You think those pathetic excuses of trash are your mates. God that's a good one."
Everyone held my mates back, including my grandparents. But they seemed to have horror written all over their faces. I looked at them with confusion. Suddenly Azrael's face twisted with rage.
"Roric!" He screamed with fury. I twisted back to the guy, who had a smile plastered on his face.
"Why it's nice to be recognized!" He bowed. "Yes it is I, Roric."
Wait this was Roric? The one who killed my parents? The one who killed Lydia? The mere thought of that made my blood boil. I drew back my fist and drilled him in his cocky grinning face with all my strengths combined. He was sent hurtling back, crashing through some trees and boulders. Using my vampire speed, I was upon him while he was still in the air. I punched him down into the ground, shattering the earth beneath him. I then grabbed him by the throat and began to squeeze. He grabbed ahold of my hand and tried to scratch at it. This continued for a few moments before he gave up and began to laugh. I stared at him confused.
"You think this is going to stop me. I am Roric, the ultimate hybrid. JUST. LIKE. YOU." He grinned at the last part of the sentence. Growling I slammed him to the ground, cracking the earth under him while uprooting a few trees. He laughed as he pulled himself out of the ground.

**Que raised by the wolves**

Suddenly my rage got the best of me and I felt my body changing. My clothes were torn off as one of my angel wings vanished and my demon wing replaced the missing one. My legs transformed into my wolf's legs, paws and everything fur black as night. My fangs, tail and claws grew out. Sky blue scales covered my privates and made a choker like necklace around my neck. Blue fire engulfed each of my paws, tail tip and joints of my demonic wing. The last thing I could see was my hair turn black but red and white tipped the bottom but it looked like fire. I knew my eyes changed color but I couldn't see what it looked like. The last thing done was my senses were enhanced.
Flexing my hand, I slowly tried to get used to this body. Once in full control, I looked to Roric with a smile plastered on my face. This was going to be good. At amazing speed, I raked my claws down at him but he dodged it effortlessly by doing a back flip and landed gracefully on his feet. I growled as I tried to punch him this time. Again he dodged. How come when I was in my original form I was doing great but when I turn into this form I sucked. I pulled my hand from the earth and charged at him. He was playing with me, which infuriated me even more. I jumped into the air and did a round house kick at him. He caught my paw like it was nothing, then swung me around. Letting go of me, I was hurtled through the air. My back made impact against a tree, making all the air escape from my lungs as the tree shattered underneath me. I fell to my knees trying to catch my breath. I could hear his footsteps growing near. My mind was racing as it came up with multiple attacks. A twig snapped indicating that I had no more time left. I looked up and found him mere inches away from me. He smiled as he grasped around my neck and hoisted me effortlessly off the ground.
"You know. I like it when your feisty." Roric trailed his free hand across my cheek. My body shivered with disgust. I stared back at him with hatred.
"I'm not here to please you." I spit on him. He wiped the spit from his face and tsked me.
"You shouldn't have done that lovely."
"Shut it."
"You know," he said while he started to crush my windpipe. "you shouldn't talk to your mate like that."
"You...aren't...my...mate." I gasped in between breaths.
"Accept it love."
"Never." I shouted and kicked him hard against the ribs. His claws grazed my neck as his hold loosened on me, giving me the perfect opportunity to escape a bit. Wait when did he have claws? Then I realized that some of his body had changed. His hair was longer but it was now a gold. Both wings of an angel and demon sprouted from his back. Fangs and claws were out and ready to hurt me. Then his legs looked like it belonged to a demon. Fur went down the sides of his face and neck but thankfully the fur also covered his privates. His spooky blue eyes were a light red with sparks of electricity in his pupil. I steadied myself on my feet, my gaze not leaving him. I rubbed the graze on my neck and found blood but no cut.
He crept over to me in a kind of seductive way, which I had no idea why. Rolling my eyes, I straightened up and surprisingly I matched his height. I rolled my shoulders and cracked my neck. Now I was ready for a decent fight. I extended my claws longer as I charged at him. He swiftly moved sideways. To my eye, he suddenly went so slow. I could see his movements step by step. He was about to grab my wings. I ducked and turned to kick him in the stomach. He grasped his stomach and gasped for air but he was right back up in seconds. He swiped at me. Dodging I grasped his wrist and threw him against the trees around me before throwing him down into the ground. He growled as he jumped out and kicked at my face. He was getting serious now. He threw out kicks and punched which I blocked. I did just as many as him but he blocked mine as well. We were too evenly matched. I pounced up and lunged down to him. He grabbed me around the waist before bending backwards and slammed me into the ground. I groaned as I picked myself up. Blood dripped onto my left eye, rendering it partially blind. I wiped my left brow and found a gash. My anger flared. I didn't care about my body but my face was a different priority. Clenching my fist into the grass, I clasped my legs around him and bent forward, making him face plant into the ground. About time he had a taste of his own medicine. I twisted my body while taking hold of his arm, forcing it back. He hissed in pain and back kicked me in the face. I hissed at him as I sliced at him. My claws raked over his arm and some of his upper torso. Blood leaked down my fingers then traced down my arm. I chucked as I licked the blood off my fingers.
"I see you are having fun teasing me." Roric smirked as he straightened up. His cuts were beginning to heal but it was slower than mine.
"As if." I growled. He suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind me. "How'd he..?" He grasped my arms and held them behind my back as he kicked my legs from out underneath me. Falling to the earth, Roric sat on my back, stroking my feathers with one hand. Growling low, I flexed my wings so the feathers grew tense and it sliced his fingers open.
"I've got to be careful with you." He chuckled as he flicked his hands free of the blood. He bent closer to my ear, I could feel something else press itself against my back. "Either submit to me or I will kill your mates."
I tensed underneath him. He would go that low and threatened my mates. I glanced over my shoulder to see him smiling. With that look, I knew he wasn't joking. Biting my tongue, I turned my attention back to the grass in front of me. I was about to speak when he suddenly bolted off of me. I quickly turned to find Seth and Caelan beside me while Roric was a few feet away. Kawaii, Kano, Niru and Gwyn helped me up to my feet. I breathed hoarsely. I didn't realize he had dislocated my shoulder until the rush of pain flowed throughout my body.
"You have three months on the full moon to decide otherwise say goodbye to your mates and pack. I'll leave you be until then. You have my word." He chuckled as he disappeared from my sight. His presence no where to be felt.
