Soon as we arrived to the pack grounds, Sage left to go check on Travis and the twins. Caelan led Axel into the mansion to help him get ready but he made sure he gave me a kiss before leaving. I giggled and waved goodbye. My other mates did the same and left to go get ready. Maya looked at me confused.
"I'll explain when we get inside." I smiled as Cleo and I shuffled her to my room. Maya's face was priceless once she arrived into my room. "I see you like it." I chuckled as I closed the door.
"It's beautiful." Maya smiled as she took in the wall. "Who are the wolves?"
"That's my wolf family that raised me. That's my elder brother Sai, my next older brother Lyell, my sister Audrey and my mom and dad." I said while pointing to each wolf.
"They're beautiful." She smiled while stroking the painting. "Oh and I don't mean to be rude but who are those other guys that kissed you?"
"Those are my other mates. I'm a hybrid."
      "Six mates?!"
"Yup. One for each heritage!" I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Sometimes they can get really annoying."
"I can imagine with all that ego." Maya giggled.                                            ****
Each of us took turns in my shower. It was good to have girl time. With all the testosterone I have to deal with, I'm glad to finally relax with my friends. Cleo helped Maya with her make up and hair. With her ivory skin, Cleo applied soft yellows to match her dress. Once done, Maya looked like a totally different person. Cleo was next. She put on her dress with amazing speed and did her own hair and make up. She really should be a stylist, make some good money with something she loves to do. I slowly put on some royal blue thongs, since it was the easiest underwear to hide under a dress. Then Cleo and Maya helped me into my dress since I was making a fuss. When they finally secured me into the dress, Cleo sat me in front of the mirror so she could put on my makeup. She told me to close my eyes and let her work her magic so I did. I could feel different brushes and other things rake gently against my eyelids.
When she told me to look, I couldn't believe my eyes. She very lightly applied a line of light blue complimented my eyes and faded as it went up and it was evenly blended with light brown. She then place some peachy red onto my lips completing her artwork. When it came time for my hair, she lightly curled by my face before she pulled the rest back. She then curled the back beautifully and added her own little personal touches. I hardly recognized myself in the mirror. I wonder what my mates would think. I smiled, only thinking about what they might say. Since we were done a little early, we talked with each other.
Before we knew it time passed by and a knock echoed throughout my room. Sighing, I got up slowly and answered the door. Alaster stood there uncomfortably in a tux, he kept pulling at the collar, but he looked good. The maroon tie was messed up completely. I snickered.
"Do you know how to dress yourself?" I laughed as I fixed his tie. He blushed and scratched the back of his head.
"Yeah but not to good with penguin suits."
"Some Beta you are!" I giggled while I let him in. Then up next trotted Jake with a maroon bow tie on. "Aw. You are so damn adorable Jake." I screeched.
"Yana don't make it worse." He whined. I could tell he was blushing.
"Okay I will keep my mouth shut but I didn't say about my thoughts." I smiled. He shook his head as he walked in.
"You look beautiful Yana." He whispered bashfully.
"And you look handsome." I patted his head.
"You have regular wolves amongst the pack?" Maya asked as she stared at Jake.
"Yup. This is Jake. I knew him since he was born and our Beta Alaster took him in when he became an orphan."
"Oh, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories." Maya whispered, feeling bad about bringing it up.
"It's okay I don't regret it." Jake said while fiddling with the bow tie. "Yana, can you fix my bow?"
"Yes." I smiled and began to fix his bow. "And Maya don't beat yourself up. He hardly remembers his parents. He doesn't mind living with us. He doesn't regret anything."
"And tell her that she's pretty." Jake said bashfully.
"My little player." I ruffled his fur on his head.
"Yana!" He screeched as he took his paw and started to flatten it.
"Okay." I giggled. "And he says your pretty."
       "Really?!" Maya blushed.
       "Yes."
"So you can really speak wolf?" She asked.
"Yes. I have to fine pupils." I motioned my hand to Cleo and Alaster who couldn't keep their eyes off each other. "As you can see, this is our Beta who is off in la la land. Earth to Al. Yo....Victor get Al for me." Alaster's eyes shifted a couple of time before they became their vibrant green. "Finally!"
"Sorry." He smiled. "So I see this is one of the new arrivals?"
"Yes this is Maya Fireheart, she was a Lone Wolf along with her brother. We are having the joining ceremony with the Luna speech." I explained. Alaster nodded.
"You have good judgement Luna." He smiled.
"But I can't say the same about you sometimes." I smirked.
"How was I supposed to know that bison was a male?" Alaster mumbled.
"Oh goddess what did you do?" Maya giggled. Alaster shifted a bit with embarrassment.
"Fine I'll tell it." I chuckled. "Alaster here was trying to find food for little Jake when he was still a pup and found a bison. So Jake and I sat a good distance away while he went to milk it for milk. And he found out the hard way that it was a male. He was running for at least an hour while we were laughing. He kept screaming "I thought you were a female." I couldn't get myself to stop laughing."
       "That's hilarious!" Maya giggled.
"I never knew you were like that." Cleo teased while looking away from him. Alaster frantically tried to explain to Cleo, but with that twinkle in her eyes I already knew what she was up to. I rolled my eyes. They never change.
"Cleo! I need to check his mark, is that alright?" I asked her.
"Sure go ahead!" Cleo gave me her permission. I nodded slowly.
"You're going to have to redress him though." I smirked.
       "Yes!" She whispered cheered.
      "Alaster remove your shirt please!"
"Yes Luna." Alaster removed his coat as well as his shirt, revealing some scars and his mark from Cleo but that wasn't the mark I was looking for. Recently, a mark appeared in the space between the collar bone. It looked like the black piece yin. It appeared maybe a night after I revived him, though it didn't stop there. On the same day, the yang piece showed itself in my left eye. So guessing that was the physical way of telling us that our souls were connected. Thankfully mine went away as soon as I spotted it, who know what will happen if everyone knew we were linked.
The yin looked bold and true, no fading what's so ever. It seemed when it faded some what meant that he needed something from me. I simply either poked it or I transferred some power into him and it seemed to do the trick. I don't know why these pieces are here but I'm hoping to get to the bottom of this. I poked the mark once and Alaster's body shivered as my power went through him. The mark became bolder.
"That should do it for now." I said to him and Cleo. "I'm sorry." I looked down at the floor. I could already feel tears demanding to escape.
"I'm happy that he's here Yana so don't beat yourself over it. It's just one little thing, no biggy." Cleo smiled as she suited Alaster back up. "And don't cry, you'll ruin my masterpiece." She taunted.
"Okay, okay." I smiled and sniffed. Maya looked from me to them, confused. "Sorry about that Maya. Had to do a checkup on him."
"You're the pack doctor?" Maya asked.
"You could say something like that." I laughed nervously. Thankfully Maya didn't notice. She was trying to rack her brain about how I could be Luna and pack doctor. Earlier the pack and I discussed that I would temporarily be the pack doc because we didn't want to arouse any suspicion about what went down a couple nights ago. The real pack doc didn't have a problem with me being a pretend one until the visitors have left.
"Well anyways, I came to pick you ladies up." Alaster changed the subject. "Everyone is waiting for your arrival."
"Goodness I guess we've better get going." I chuckled. Cleo readjusted Alaster's tie, which he hated. Once we gave ourselves a look over, we all headed to a limo. It immediately left when we entered. I started to panic but Alaster assured me that this was our limo and they have already left. We stopped in front of Sage's house next. I could see her telling the babysitter of what to do with Ben and Renee. Travis was trying to hurry her up but I even know not to rush a mother. When Sage finally detached herself from her kids, she entered the limo and sighed with relief. "Hard time?"
"No, I know the babysitter but it's so hard to let go of them for a couple of hours." Sage smiled tiredly.
"I can imagine but it's good to finally have some grownup time. It will help you relax a little." I smiled encouragely.
      "That's true."
We then stopped by a house, where the Elders came out of. It seemed that Quin was with them.
"Brother Quin." I smiled happily as he neared the limo.
"Hey Aiyana, how my sister doing?"
"Excited is the way to put it." I squealed. Quin smirked and sat down next to me. "How's Audrey?"
"Doing well, now that the pack is catching caribou."
"That's good. I'm sorry I had to drag you away tonight."
        "It's fine and Audrey understands."
"Okay." I smiled as he patted my head like a brother.
"Looks like another fine night with Aiyana." Kenji smirked.
"Don't start Kenji." I warned playfully.
"Alright." He held up his hands in surrender. "But I'm only speaking the truth."
        "Player!" I mumbled.
"So who might this be?" Nestor asked, indicating to Maya.
"This is Maya Fireheart. She is joining this pack along with her brother tonight." I introduced her. "Maya these are the Elders."
"Pleased...to meet you." She stuttered and bowed respectfully. Her whole body froze when the last person came into the car, Solon who happened to be scribbling in his notebook.
"Sol...earth to Sol. Hey!" I screamed, finally grabbing his attention as he tried to grasp his book and pencil. "Well look who's landed! Shall we take you to our leader?" I teased.
"Wise as always Aiyana." Solon smirked, a blush creeping to his cheeks from embarrassment.
"You're no fun." I chuckled. "I guess we do have to have a responsible one in the mix."
"Yes that would be me." Solon smiled as he pushed his glasses closer to his nose. His eyes then glanced over to Maya, who still hasn't released her bowing stance. "Who is this?"
"This is Maya Fireheart. She's joining the pack tonight along with her brother." I helped Maya sit up right. She continued to look at the ground which I found weird but then again she's been acting weird since Solon entered the limo. I leaned forward and saw her eyes telling me a remarkable tale. I then looked to Solon, whose eyes haven't left Maya. Evilly smiling, I leaned towards her. "I believe you guys are mates." I whispered in her ear. She clenched her dress tightly as her cheeks turned a rosy pink. "Bingo!" I shouted, which made her cheeks even redder. "Ah, don't hide it Maya. It's a beautiful thing. And maybe with your help we can finally release Sol out of the printed text's grasp."
"Mine!" Is the only thing that passed Solon's lips. I gently picked up Maya and placed her next to Sol.
"Go slow with her or you're getting the newspaper." I warned him as I easily put her down. Her eyes said thank you and no at the same time, who knew there was such an emotion. I sat down in Maya's old spot, letting me sit next to Cleo. Quin moved over next to me again and the Elders followed his que, so the new found mates could talk with each other. "Geez, everything is going crazy. First the attack, now finding more mate pairs."
"Speaking of the attack, your final form was magnificent." Kenji said with praise.
"Oh..." I smirked at Kenji. "The almighty Kenji is praising me?" I evilly smiled.
"Why wouldn't I praise the future queen? I got to start sucking up now." Kenji put bluntly.
        "Figures." I laugh.
Soon enough we arrived at a big building, a lot of limos were parked all over the place. Once parked, everyone piled out. With my enhanced hearing, I could hear classical music from outside. I didn't mind classical but a party should be more upbeat. Everyone climbed up the stairs with someone, I started to feel nervous. A sudden push on my hand told me that Jake was trying to comfort me. I smiled.
      "Will you accompany me Jake?"
"I would love to Yana." Jake gave me a wolfy smile and walked with me up the stairs. We followed everyone in and all I saw was a big staircase leading to gods know where. Alaster led the group like nothing while Jake and I lagged behind. "Don't we feel left out." He chuckled.
"Tell me about it." I whispered.
The classical got louder as we approached some double doors. Everyone formed into a line which confused the hell out of me. First it was Nestor and Rae standing side by side. Kenji and Quin. Solon and Maya. Marrok. Then it was Travis and Sage. Cleo and Alaster. Lastly was Jake and I. We stared at each other, trying to comprehend on what's going on but I just shrugged it off. Jake shook his head. A sudden hand touched my shoulder. I twirled around ready to fling the person forward but it was just Caelan.
"Don't do that. You almost gave me a heart attack." I sighed, trying to calm my heart. Caelan smiled wickedly and winked.
"Ah, where's the fun in that." He chuckled.
"Fine then don't come crying to me the next time your on the floor." I huffed.
"You're beautiful." He whispered lovingly in my ear. A blush crept to my cheeks.
"Thank you. You look handsome." I whispered back. My body nervously moving on its own. Caelan really did look handsome in his black tux with his royal blue tie and handkerchief. Inside my head, I was thinking that I should have him dress up more often. He chuckled when I started to nervously fiddle with his tie.
"Relax you'll do fine." Caelan proudly held my hands and gave my knuckles a peck. I could feel my cheeks get warmer.
       "If you say so."
"Jake why don't you accompany your parents?" Caelan smiled at Jake.
"Fine but I better get a dance of some sort with Aiyana. She's my aunt after all." Jake puffed out his chest, showing his seriousness.
"Okay you will. I promise." Caelan patted Jake's head. Jake then nodded and stood next to Alaster.
"When did you learn wolf?" I asked astonished.
"I asked Alaster to teach me so I could surprise you." He smiled. "Did it work?"
        "Yes."
Suddenly the music stopped playing and the doors slowly opened. A clear of someone's throat caught my attention. Then someone started to introduce everyone as they walked through the door. We slowly inched up as the people walked one by one. My palms were sweating like crazy as our turn grew near.
"Alpha Caelan and Luna Aiyana." Someone yelled our names into the air. Caelan and I walked through the door, the light blinding me temporarily. What I saw on the other side was breathtaking. Silver decorations, along with gold and blue, hung everywhere. I felt like I was in the night sky it was so beautiful. Caelan gently led me down some stairs to the ballroom. As soon as my feet touch the tile, hollers of approval were vibrating off the walls. So many different faces I didn't recognize amongst my pack members but by their power I could tell they were Alphas and Luna's from all across the country. One face sadly I recognized, Raoul. He was near the back leaning against the wall, his eyes never leaving me. Creepy. My spine shivered with uneasiness. Once all the formalities were passed, the music started again and Caelan begun to lead me around the room to meet some acquaintances. I met his best friend, Michael, who was the Alpha of the Moonrise pack in New York. I found out that he had no mate as of yet but he was sure it was going to be soon. I met many other Alphas and Luna's and I was actually shocked when I found a couple of female Alphas. Learn something new every day. Suddenly I heard the music turn into a waltz. I mentally groaned as I was led to the dance floor by Caelan.
He moved with such grace. I however, kept up okay with my few hours of training with Cleo, Sage and Alaster. Suddenly he twirled me around and I landed in somebody else's arms.
"Seth?! Geez don't scare me like that." I said while trying to calm my heart.
"Sorry mate. You are beautiful tonight, I do have to say you dress is rather lovely on you tonight. Sadly I don't have the pleasure taking it off of you tonight." Seth pouted.
"Seth!" I whispered yelled as the heat on my cheeks intensified. "Gods I don't know what to do with you."
"I don't know either but tell me when you figure it out." He winked before ending our dance and twirled me into someone else's arms.
"Hi mate." Gwyn smiled down at me.
"Hi Gwyn." A blush crept to my cheeks again.
       "You look beautiful tonight."
"Thank you." I looked him over. "You're not bad yourself." I shyly smiled.
"Well thank you." He smiled once more time before passing me to Kawaii.
"You're...be...beautiful." Kawaii said with a blush of embarrassment.
"Aw." I whispered yelled. "You're so damn adorable." I pulled him into a hug. "And you look handsome tonight Kawaii."
"Th...thank you." He stuttered as his cheeks turned crimson.
He bowed his head as he twirled me to Kano, who was raking his eyes all over my body.
"Beautiful." He whispered into my ear. "I wish it was my night again. Oh the things I could do to you." He boasted with confidence but I did know that well.
"Kano!" I playfully slapped his shoulder. "Behave."
"Telling a demon to behave, that's new." Kano chuckled as he winked and twirled me into Niru's arms. If they didn't stop this damn twirling, I was going to puke everywhere. Trying to get my head to stop spinning, my body made itself go with the best of the music.
"You look beautiful tonight my little flower." Niru smiled.
"Thank you, Niru. You look handsome tonight as well." I said while smiling, though my cheeks were red.
        "You're adorable when you blush."
"I'm not blushing. Just a little warm is all." I lied.
"Uh huh." He snickered. When the song finally ended, so did we. Soon after that, my world stopped spinning to some degree. I bowed and walked over to an open seat nearby. Then something licked the back of my hand. I looked to my right and found Jake with a glass of water on top of his head.
"Here ya go." Jake said with a wolfish smile.
"Thank you Jake. By the way, when did you learn how to do that?" I asked while taking a couple of sips of the water.
"I don't know. I guess I wanted to impress you." He looked bashful.
"Aw you look so adorable Jake." I smiled and gave him a hug. He chuckled. Sitting down, he looked over at the crowd dancing along with the next song. "Hey Jake, doesn't this party seem like a drag? Don't get me wrong, I love classical music but there is a limit that I can take."
"I agree. Usually from what I hear, a party is more uppity. Something like your clubbing night." Jake stated while he scratched the back of his ear.
"Same here." I leaned against my hand. Glancing over, I noticed that Jake messed up his bow tie again. I quickly fixed it with a smile.
"Aiyana!!!!" A girl screamed. I turned my attention to a girl with long black hair and blue eyes. She wore a long silver dress, the exact color Quin was wearing. My jaw clenched when I thought about him cheating on Audrey but then I noticed two wolf ears popping out of her head and a tail by her ass. Then finally I caught her scent, I immediately recognized it.
        "AUDREY??!!!" I screamed.

***Omg, did you expect that? Lol. So weren't Aiyana's mates charming and they had so much to say? Yeah right, lol. But it was cute how Solon and Maya are mates. And can you figure out how Audrey became human, well human-ish?
