Andy Imagine: The Climb

Flowers, chocolates, and various gifts. It's the only thing Andy could think to give to this girl; the girl he wanted. She never caved, never showed any emotion. She only ever humored him with a smile and occasional response. Although the response was usually, no, Andy was still honored.

Andy knew (Y/N) had trust issues. She dated one boy from the beginning of middle school to the beginning of senior year when she found out he was cheating on her. She found herself quickly thanks to her friends, but trust had become something a bit foreign. She didn't want to let her heart fall; didn't want to let it beat for another.

Secretly, it did beat for the ginger drummer.

Andy talked to all his friends for advice. Everyone told him to give up or try again in a better time. What time would be better? You needed to know you could trust him, but Andy didn't know how until one day; it just came to him. He waited to see you at lunch and when you sat at your lunch table waiting for your friends, he made his way over. He sat in front of you and took your hands in his.

"My name is Andrew John Hurley. I was born May 31, 1980. I'm a straightedge vegan and I hate corporate America. My favorite color is blue. I cry when I see all the horrible things going on in the world and my biggest fear is being alone; no friends, family or anything." He said. You smiled slightly and squeezed his hands in yours.

"Nice to meet you, Andy." You whispered.

"Can I take you out next Friday? We can do whatever you want." He suggest. You nodded excitedly.

"I'd like that a lot." You answered honestly. Looks like Andy finally got over that wall.
