Patrick's POV
I sat on the game bleachers, eating lunch with Pete, Andy, and Joe.
"Yeah, so I'm totally in danger of failing math." Pete groaned.
"Don't worry; you can cheat off of me on the next one." Joe reassured him. Pete smiled and high fived Joe.
"Teamwork: the only thing I've ever learned in school." He sighed happily. I chuckled along with Andy and rolled my eyes.
"You guys are so sad." I scoffed. Just as I said that someone yelled "Watch out!" I turned and was met with a ball in my face. My glasses flew away and I fell off of my seat.
"Patrick!" Andy gasped. When I opened my eyes I say a pair of beautiful (E/C) eyes. Eyes that could only belong to my crush, (Y/N) (L/N)
"I'm super sorry Patrick." (Y/N) said worriedly.
"You know my name." I choked out. She giggled and moved some hair from her face.
"Yeah, you sit in front of me in Pre-Calculus." She smiled. I sat up slowly and searched for my glasses.
"Here." Andy said passing them to me.
"Thanks." I smiled. I looked back at (Y/N) who was running her arms nervously.
"You don't have to feel bad. I didn't move quick enough." I assured her.
"Yeah, but I feel really bad. I made you spill your lunch." She sighed. I waved it off.
"It wasn't even that good."
"How about I buy you lunch after school? I was heading to get pizza after anyway."
"Pizza?! Can I come?!" Pete exclaimed. I slowly turned to him and gave him the most evilest glare I could muster.
"On second thought, I hate pizza." Pete said a bit nervously. I smiled and turned back to (Y/N).
"Uh sure." I accepted.
"Great! I'll be waiting outside the school. If you don't mind, we're gonna have to walk." (Y/N) explained.
"I don't mind at all. I'll see you then." (Y/N) smiled and left me with the guys.
"Damn, next time I'll push you out the way and get hit with the ball myself." Joe teased poking my side.
"It's just lunch, not like it's a date or anything." I shrugged trying to him my smile. I was getting lunch with (Y/N) (L/N). Sweet!
