Becky's POV:
"Morning babe" CJ whispers in my ear at probably 12 in the afternoon because the sun's beating through the window heating my sheets.
"Ugghh no 5 more minutes" I groan not wanting to wake as yet.
"But babe half the day's already gone" yupp, I guessed right..
"Fine..." I rise up and rub my eyes then squint to see him smiling.
"Whutt?" I ask still sleepy.
"You're beautiful"
"Bruhh" I laugh at his level of sarcasm and he kisses me as he rubs and squeezes my leg. I instantly slap him.
"I'm sorry did I hurt you or something?" He asks backing up a bit.
"No of course not I'm sorry I didn't mean to.." I look down and he turns my face towards him.
"What's going on?"
"...it's just that, someone from work made a move on me and I've been edgy since but it's no big deal"
"What? When?"
"Thursday babe but I handled it" I say flipping off the covers and sitting at the edge of the bed.
"Did you-"
"No CJ I would never" I say cutting him off from making assumptions.
"I wouldn't put it past you" he mumbled and I looked back.
"What's that suppose to mean?" I got a bit angry.
"Well you haven't quite won the 'most faithful female' award have you?"
"You're kidding right? That was 16 years ago CJ grow up! I'm here now ain't I? And I never once cheated or hurt you after that" I felt offended and a bit embarrassed.
"How do I know that? How do I know that you didn't like it?"
"Like what exactly? His hands all up in my skirt?! That's not my character CJ! I don't fuck my work colleagues"
"Doesn't have to be a work colleague" he calmly says.
"Where are you getting at?" I ask confused AF. He shrugs.
"I don't have time for this" I get up and storm to the bathroom making sure to slam the door behind me.
I washed my face and brushed my teeth, the regular. I then bathed and washed my hair then stepped out and blow dried it. I moisturized it and fixed it into my regular ponytail then left the bathroom to get dressed.
"Becky I'm sorry I don't know what came over me, I know you wouldn't hurt me" I ignored him and took out my undies.
"Becky?" I slipped them on and a boxer shorts and vest then head out the bedroom to check on Allie.
Allie's POV:
I roll over at 12:55 and sat up just in time to convince my mother that I was fully awake. She peeped in and smiled before saying good afternoon. I half smiled and struggled to keep my eyes open.
"You should lie back down you look extremely tired" my mom says and she's right, after Taylor brought me home at 8 this morning I've craved nothing more but sleep. She had me up till 4am talking about 'us'.
"Okay.." I lie back down and snuggle up in my sheets.
"Imma be back to wake you at 1:30 because I've got plans for us" she shuts my door and I sit back up to check my phone.
Tay : Morning beautiful, or afternoon sleepy head lol, msg me when you wake or call because I'm missing you . I love you.
R/D ❤ : Seems like you're ignoring me but you've gotta talk sometime so I suggest you start now, we need to work this out baby please.
I put back my phone on the nightstand and put my covers over my head and go back to sleep.
CJ's POV:
Becky comes back in the bedroom, grabs her phone and keys and leaves. I rush up and run behind her.
"Becky hol' up..where are you going?" I ask worried.
"Out..."
"Out where?"
"I'm going for a drive CJ" she sounds annoyed and I kiss her deeply.
"I'm sorry Becky I honestly didn't mean anything I said, I know you love me and I love you too, I shouldn't have-"
"It's okay, really.." She cuts me off and smiles a bit.
"Can you stay and cuddle with me?" I ask frowning and she rolls her eyes and nods.
Becky's POV:
He can be such a baby sometimes. I kick off my shoes and throw my keys on the kitchen counter and follow him back to our room.
"Big ass baby" he giggles crawling into bed and holding out his hands for me. I get into bed and snuggle with him. He switches on the TV and strokes my hair. I lie on his chest while we watch "Jerry Springer"
Allie's POV:
I wake back up at 1:10 and bounce out if bed to the bathroom to wash up. I'm guessing my mom's taking me to the beach because lunch is packed, flip flops are at the door, sun screen is in her bag along with a towel and my dad's taking forever to shower, like who does that?! I wash my face and brush my teeth and pack my towel and other necessities. I put on my two piece bathing suit and joins my mom out front to wait on my dad.
"Why does he do that?" I ask sitting beside her. She shrugs.
"Probably wants to smell nice I dunno" she laughs at how silly it is to bathe then get all sandy. I shake my head and go to the car to put my bag inside.
"Allie?" I look up and raise one brow.
"Oh right, you don't remember me" he laughs and walks closer.
"Mom?" I call out and his eyes open wide. My mom comes out and stops beside me looking at this stranger.
"Hey Becky" he smiles bright. My mom stands here speechless as I try to figure out what's going on.
"Oh my God!" She runs and hugs him extremely tight and cries? I just stand here in a daze waiting for an explanation.
Becky's POV:
"How have you been?" I ask wiping my tears.
"I've been hanging in there" Shaks replies and I hug him again. I missed him so much!
"Who's this?" I turn and see Allie's puzzled face.
"Oh umm this is an old friend" I say in the most reasonable explanation possible.
"Uhhh okay..." Allie continues to the car and I laugh and shake my head.
"She's so big, and beautiful Becky" I nod and he smiles.
"Becky I'm read-" CJ comes out and stops when he sees Shaks.
"CJ... Sup?" Shaks greets him and he nods with zero expression on his face. I clear my throat and break the tension.
"Well Shaks we're going to the beach, you should join us"
"Nah I'm not prepared" he says showcasing his long jeans and white T-shirt. I smile and nod with understanding.
"Plus I just came to see how you were doing and stuff, I've got a lot to catch up on" I laugh and hug him one last time before he heads off to wherever he's going. I look back and see CJ staring blankly.
"The beach isn't gonna come to us yuh know!" Allie yells and CJ laughs and gets in the car. I follow and we pull off.
We arrive at a decent time and unpack. Allie makes her way to the water while CJ rubs on my sunscreen.
"Shaks' back...that's nice" he randomly says and I nod.
"So what's gonna happen?" He asks and I sigh.
"Nothing's gonna happen" I turn and look into his eyes.
"Becky I don't want to lose you okay? I've finally got my family together and I know I wasn't the man you wanted 16 years ago but I'm sure that I can be now" I could see the sadness in his eyes.
"Babe you're the man I want and need now and I promise I'll never leave you. I love you" he smiles and I kiss him gently.
"Mom!" Allie calls out and waves at me to join her.
"Okay so no doubt baby I'm yours" I smile and land one last kiss on his lips then run to join Allie in the water.
