Becky's POV:
I wake at 12:40 and head downstairs to see Allie watching Sponge Bob with CJ. He still isn't talking to me after the scene with shaks.
"Good morning" Allie looks back and smiles but CJ keeps his eyes facing front. I don't even think he slept in the bed last night. Sigh.
"What's for breakfast?" I ask and Allie gets up.
"Look what I made for you" she reaches into the microwave and hands me bacon and eggs with toast and pours me a glass of fruit punch juice.
"Aww thanks honey" I grab her face gently and kiss her multiple times. She giggles and goes back to watching TV. I sit and eat and wash up. After breakfast I sit with Allie and CJ.
"This episode showed last week, Sandy's gonna invite Sponge Bob over for tea and forgets that he needs the water to survive so we all know how that goes" I laugh.
"Ummm spoiler alert?" Allie laughs and CJ gets up and goes to his room.
"What's wrong with dad?" I shrug to avoid her worrying and get up and follow.
"CJ?" I peep in and he's lying down watching Sponge Bob in our room instead. I sigh.
"CJ I'm sorry I didn't know you hadn't seen that-"
"Becky can you just...leave me?" He looks at me a bit annoyed so I go over to him and sit on the bed.
"No I can't because I don't like this distance"
"Well Becky I don't like you around Shaks"
"I'm sorry but you've gotta trust me CJ"
"Yh...that'll take some time" he mumbles and I sigh. I mean I understand why he's acting this way but I can't just forget shaks, although we had our time he's still my friend.
"I'm sorry that you don't trust me but I can't just stop talking to shaks"
"Why not?" He looks at me puzzled
"Because he's still my friend"
"Oh yh? Then why hasn't he apologized yet?" That stopped me dead in my tracks. It burned me deep inside too....he's right.
"Exactly" CJ gets up and storms out and a tear rolls down my cheek.
Allie's POV:
My dad comes out looking a tad angry.
"You okay?" I ask and he nods and smiles.
"What'd I miss?" He asks and I smile.
"Haaa Sponge Bob invited Patrick and they both up in Sandy's crib suffocating" he laughs and we watch TV.
My phone vibrates and I check it to see 2 messages from Taylor.
Tay : hey are we still on tonight because even though Sarah's coming I still wanna come to spend time with you.
Tay : if you choose not to go we can hang out at my house.
I reply saying I've gotta check in with Sarah and she says k.
"Hello?" Sarah says on the other line when I call from my bedroom.
"Hi it's Allie I was wondering of you're still going out tonight"
"Oh, I can't I'm by my aunt and I have to watch my cousin tonight, she's working late"
"Oh did you hear anything about your mom?"
"Yah she's stable thanks"
"It's okay" I smile
"I'll text you because she's a handful" Sarah says and there's screaming in the background.
"Oh ok" I say and she hangs up.
Me: she can't make it so you wanna go out?
Tay : sure 8:00?
Me : yah
Tay : lol ok see you babe, I love you
Me: I love you too baby ❤
I turn off my phone screen and head back outside with my dad.
Becky's POV:
Me: I can't make it tonight.
Shaks : why not?
Me: CJ's just not on the same boat.
Shaks : loool Becky we ain't doing nun, we just chillin'
Me: I know but still he's my man.
Shaks : ok fine some other time then.
Me: hopefully.
