Becky's POV:
"Put those clothes and stuff straight in the washing machine" I call out to Allie who's jogging upstairs to her room. CJ heads to our room while I lock the door.
"Babe, you wanna watch TV?" I ask him and he nods and gets undressed. It's 6:05pm already and I'm going to take a shower. I close the bathroom door behind me and get undressed after running the hot water.
Shaks' POV:
I pull up at Tasha's house at 6:07pm and knock.
"Hey" Seon answers the door putting on his jacket and stepping outside while Tasha fixes his collar and kisses him.
"Get him back here in one piece!" She snaps and he looks at me.
"She's just kidding" I laugh a bit and guide him to the car. We pull off and she closes the door.
"What's up big guy?"
"No-nothing"
"Why are you so shy?" I ask with my eyes focused on the road.
"I'm not, I just don't really know you"
"Haaa it's okay we'll bond very soon" I shake his shoulder and he smiles.
"Can I ask you something?" He asks as we stop at a stoplight. I nod.
"What did you go to jail for?" He rubs his palms in his pants nervously.
"Seon it's okay...umm your mom told you that?" He nods.
"What else did she tell you exactly?" I ask
"She..umm she said that you treated her bad and that...you umm you didn't care about me and you abandoned us"
"What? Seon that's not true I'd never abandon you, I love you" I say looking into his eyes and he looked away. The light turned green and we continued to the movies in silence.
Allie's POV:
I throw the clothes in the machine and take a quick shower. I dried off my hair and flopped onto my bed to check my messages. I get a message from Taylor.
Tay : hey babe I haven't heard you all day. I miss you call me soon :).
I dial up her number than my phone rings before I can press call.
"Hello?" I answer without looking at the caller ID.
"Allie, it's Sarah, can we talk"
"I'm listening"
"Okay first I'm sorry, again I know I can get a bit jealous but-"
"A bit? Sarah you flip out whenever someone compliments my outfit!"
"I know, but Allie you're so beautiful and no one freaks out about my outfits or calls me beautiful"
"I do" I reminded her.
"Look bottom line is I'm not only jealous towards you, I'm also jealous...of you"
"What? That's fucked up Sarah!"
"I know but that's just how I feel" she sighs and I can tell she's burying her face in the pillow.
"Look I dunno what to say..." I say
"Once we're cool forget it imma fix that" I shake my head.
"So you broke up with me and expect me to pick up from where we left off and act like nothing's happened?"
"I didn't break up with you Allie I just got angry and left...and I'm sorry"
"Well I'm sorry too...I can't handle you picking at everything it's becoming unbearable"
There's a gap of silence. The phone beeps. She hung up! I dial up...
"Hello?"
"Hi babe you texted me?"
"Yasss I missed you so much, how was your day?"
"It was good I missed you too"
There's no turning back anyways. I'm with Taylor now and I'm glad that I finally have the person I've always dreamed of being with...
"So guess who randomly popped up today.." She said
"Who?"
"Seon's dad psshh"
"Ummmm what do you mean randomly popped up"
"He hasn't been present in Seon's life because he was in jail for God knows what...and suddenly he shows up to take out Seon" I laugh at her because I can tell she's rolling her eyes and it's hella cute.
"I don't see anything wrong with that Tay"
"I do...if my dad randomly shows up after he said he doesn't want anything to do with me I wouldn't accept him!"
"Haaaa where's your dad Tay?"
"I dunno, probably wifing some other bitch, my mom says our dads abandoned us so I honestly don't care where he is.."
"Well at least you've got your mom"
"Yupp and she's all I need" she laughs and I chuckle. She's so cute when she's angry too, damn I wanna hold her now...
Shaks' POV:
I pull into Tasha's driveway at 10:58pm and walk Seon to the front door.
"Hey son..." I called before he reached the door.
"Yh?" He turns around.
"What your mom said wasn't true you know that right?" He shrugs and I sigh.
"I do care about you..a lot and I love you, there were some things that happened between me and your mom but I'd never harm any of y'all okay?" He nods and smiles a bit and I smile back.
"Where the fuck were you?" Tasha pops open the door with her phone in her hand and the other propped up on the door.
"Chill aiite the movie was 3 hours long then I took him for something to eat"
"You could've called and say sumn like oh I dunno, Tasha I'm gonna be late so don't be up pacing the goddamn house worried sick about your son!" She shouted and I walked up the steps.
"Well I'm sorry and he's back..in one piece" I roll my eyes and he snickers receiving a stern look from Tasha causing him to stop instantly.
"Get inside and hold a bath Seon" she says and he heads inside after looking back and smiling.
"Well thanks for letting me take him out"
"Whatever Shaquon, I still don't like you around him" she said
"Oh, is that why you told him I abandoned him and treated you bad?" She stared.
"Tasha you know I love that boy and you are deliberately-"
"I'm not doing anything, I'm just stating facts! You treated me like shit when you went behind my back with Becky, then you abandoned us after you found out Becky's baby was yours or should I remind you that she isn't!"
"Wherever you're going with this stop!"
"Stop? Stop what? Telling the truth? You're nothing but a waste Shaquon and I'm sorry I ever opened up in any way to you!" She slammed the door and I turn and hop into my car and drive home..
She's right, to some extent, but I'd rather not hold grudges so she can grow old with those memories, imma keep seeing my son until he remembers who his daddy really is..
Becky's POV:
I roll over from CJ's embrace at 11:21pm and walk to the kitchen for a late night snack. I grab the ham slices and a few slices of bread and orange juice. I take a bite of the sandwich and my phone rings.
"Hello?" I ask wondering who could be calling at this time of the night.
"Hey Becky it's Shaks"
"Oh Hi sup?"
"Man Tasha's driving me crazy already!" I laugh and he sighs.
"What happened?"
"I took out Seon yuh know just to spend time with my lil man and she already poisoning his mind making him think I abandoned them and I don't love him or something"
"Well Shaks you know how you feel about him and you know the truth so don't let her get to you, she's just being Tasha.." I laugh and he scuffs.
"Well I just got in so imma get some rest, I'll hear you in the morning"
"Aiite, sleep good" I hang up and finish eat.
Shaks has always been there for both Allie and Seon. He's a good father and I feel terrible for lying to him, but I'll never regret doing it because that time we had together as a family was the best time I've ever had with him...he's worth it.
