Allie's POV:
"Ahhhhh Allie come quick!" I jump up and dash through the door panicking.
"Mom! Where are you?"
"In my room hurry!" I burst into her room and she squirts me with a water gun.
"Mom what the-" my dad comes from behind squirting me in my back. I fall dramatically and curl up.
"Haaaa we got chu!" My mom says laughing uncontrollably. I peep through my fingers and see my dad holding his belly laughing.
"Y'all whack!" I brush them off and get up pouting.
"Ahhh that was funny!" My dad says and high fives my mom.
"Ouuuu imma get chu back just wait!" I storm out the room and go for my towel to dry my skin. I check the clock, 6:29am. Dang these bitches love some goofing around. Where'd they even get those guns from? I went straight into the bath to clean up and get ready for school.
"Morning pumpkin your breakfast's ready" my dad slides a plate of scrambled eggs and toast my side and my mom smirks.
"What'd y'all do to this food?" I ask looking at them suspiciously.
"Nothing hurry up or you'll be late" my mom taps her watch and heads to the pantry for creamer for her coffee. I stick a bite into the eggs and they're cool. I took a sip of my tea and quickly spit it back out..
"What the hell is in there?!" My mom starts laughing all over again. My dad holds his mouth as the tears slowly escape his eyes.
"Man seriously what's in there, quit playin'..."
"We didn't know you wanted sugar in your tea dear" Wtf...they put salt in my motherfucking tea. How about that....
I push the tea aside and go to the fridge to get orange juice myself.
"Seriously Allie hurry you're gonna be late" my mom heads outside to put the bags in the car. I finish up and quickly brush my teeth to get the taste out.
"Imma get y'all" I point at my mom and dad devilishly while they kiss each other goodbye.
"April fool!" They shouted unison and I flick them off and head to the car followed by my mom laughing her ass off.
"Enjoy your day honey" my mom smiles behind her shades and I nod and leave as she pulls off. I walk straight up to my locker to get my books for first period before the bell goes off in probably 5 minutes. I reach for the books and I see darkness. I feel for the hands covering my eyes and smile.
"Guess who?" She whispers. I uncover her hands and turned to see Sarah.
"Oh hi.." She smiles and I smile slightly.
"I got you something" I raise one brow and she pulls out a box. I open it and reveal a necklace with a 'B' on it. I close back the box and hand it back to Sarah.
"I can't take that" I say and her smile fades gradually.
"Why not? I'm your girlfr-"
"Hey babe" I look to my right and see Taylor strutting towards us in gold sandals, a high waist jeans skirt with a split, a white tank covered with a denim jacket and her hair put into a messy bun with gold hoop earrings. Dang....
She walks straight up to me and plants a deep kiss on my lips. She pulls away or rather gets pulled away by Sarah.
"What the fuck?" Sarah asks with her hands up waiting for an explanation.
"You took the words straight out my mouth, why you putting your hands on me?" Taylor asks with a puzzled look on her face.
"Allie what's going on?" Sarah ignores her and asks me. I stick my hands into my joggers pockets and sigh.
"Look I-" I'm interrupted by the bell and I quickly dash past them both and head to class ignoring Sarah calling out to me.
I get into my class and sigh relieved that neither Sarah nor Taylor has this class with me. Lunch time came fast and I head to the gym to avoid them both.
"Hey" I look up from the bench with my mouth open from attempting to bite my sandwich.
"Yes?" The girl smiles.
"You're here to sign up?" I raise one brow.
"Sign up for what?"
"The soccer team" she says smiling and I smirk.
"Sorry I don't have time for that"
"What? Everyone had time for something..plus it'll take up your 4th and 5th period on Wednesdays until the competitions begin" Omg this is perfect. I can get away from Sarah and Taylor for awhile.
"But practice is after school from 2:30-4:00" she rambles on.
"OK fine I'll give it a try" she smiles brighter and hands me a clipboard to write down my name. I quickly do so and she leaves. I finish up my lunch and head to my last two classes with Sarah..
I open my locker and turn and see Taylor with her arms crossed.
"Don't gimme that look Tay, you know I haven't told her yet"
"Actually you said you were gonna tell her last night"
"I tried but she hung up on me" Taylor rolls her eyes and I laugh.
"What's so funny?" She asks with twisted lips.
"You" I smirk and bite her ear. She giggles and slaps me playfully. I wink at her and she pushes my face and goes to class after reminding me to tell Sarah in these two periods.
I sit and Sarah comes in and sits beside me.
"Allie.." She didn't even give me time to start the convo.
"Yh?" I turn and look at her puffy face.
"Just tell me, do you have Taylor?" She asks and I nod.
"Yes I do.." I say and she nods slowly and sniffles. Dang I hate to see her crying. She flicks away a tear and rests her head on the desk, I swore I saw a tear land in the table. I shake her and she looks up at me with red eyes and soaked cheeks. Dang.
"Why you crying?" I ask and she wipes her face and shakes her head.
"It's just I changed for you, I tried my hardest to make you happy, I gave you my all and you hurt me like this, you could've at least told me something, to save me a little pain, I fucking love you Allie" tears flow down her cheeks and I feel guilt deep inside my stomach. I sighed and said,
"April fool silly!"
I laughed a bit and smiled and she stared blankly.
"What?" She ask and wipes her face.
"I was just kidding Sarah, I'm not with Taylor, she just did that to make you jealous so I could fool you" Sarah smacks me and laughs.
"Fuck you Allie dang!" She says covering her face ashamed. I chuckled nervously and the teacher comes in to begin class. She mouths 'I love you' and I smile and quickly look away. Fuck...
School ends and I quickly hop into my mother's car and head home.
I get home and plop down in the chair beside my dad.
"Good evening pumpkin"
"Good evening dad" I smile and he hugs me. My mom sits beside me and sighs tiredly.
I take this time to do something brave.
"Mom, dad I've gotta tell you sumn" they both sit up and I sigh.
"Remember Sarah?" They both nod.
"Well...I'm a lesbian and she's my girlfriend" my mom's eyes open wide and my dad looks puzzled.
"Wait what?" My mom stands up.
"Yh we've been together for 3 years now" my dad still looks puzzled.
"Are you crazy? What's wrong with you?" My mom asks.
"Allianna no! That's not acceptable!" My dad shouts.
"But-" I begin.
"No buts, I ain't raised you to like girls and eat pussy, you're gonna get your act together and focus on your work and cut that shit out or I swear I'll tear your ass-"
"Omg April fools!!" I scream and stand up.
My mom looks at me then my dad and he shakes his head. She laughs and rolls her eyes.
"Ouuu don't ever do that again girl!" My mom laughs and heads to her room as my dad heads to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
