Becky's POV:
So since I'm off from work today, Allie's decided to go by Taylor and come home tomorrow evening. Prom is a week from now and she doesn't seem too interested or excited.
"Morning mom, dad" she skips downstairs already dressed and grabs an apple and heads to the door.
"Hey wait wait, no breakfast?" She shakes her head and continues.
"Why?" I ask stopping her before she reached the door.
"Because Taylor is outside waiting on me"
"Hun it's 7:15 come eat something bef-"
"Mom we'll stop by Subways on our way to school, don't worry" she says and dashes through the door. I sigh
"She'll be fine Becky" CJ kisses my cheek and heads through the door. Great, home alone...
Allie's POV:
After I found out that my mom knows Taylor's dad I'm more than determine to help her find him.
"Morning babe" I kiss her lips before we pull off.
"So we're stopping at Subways before we go to school right?" I nod and chew my apple.
"You okay?" She asks and I nod.
"Well say sumn" I giggle.
"I'm fine Tay" I roll my eyes and she smiles.
We go inside and order then sit and wait for them to grill.
"So Taylor" I begin
"Yah?" She answered after sipping her 7up.
"What if I told you I could help you find your dad?" She spit out the drink.
"What?" She said wiping her mouth.
"Look my mom says she knows your dad so I could ask her-"
"How would she know him?"
"I dunno she won't tell me, but-"
"She doesn't know my dad Allie so forget it"
"Hear me out please" she sighs and crosses her arms.
"She said Danny looks like your dad"
"My mom says that too...but my mom doesn't talk about him so we shouldn't either"
"Why not? Don't you wanna find him?"
"No! What for? He never wanted me, what makes you feel he'll want me now?"
"Okay fine but when I find him, I'll show him how much he missed out on" I get up and grab out order and head out the door followed by Taylor.
We buckle up and head to school.
"Allie, I don't want you to find my dad" Taylor says as we pull into the parking lot at 7:55.
"Why?"
"Because my mom said that he was never loved us and he doesn't want us!"
"But Taylor maybe he does want you now"
"That's bullshit just stay out of it!" She gets out and waits for me to get out so she can lock the car. She then storms in and straight to her locker just as the bell goes off. I sigh and grab my books and head to class.
Lunch time came and I got a burger and a box juice with an apple and head over to the table where Taylor and I sit at. I see her picking at her food.
"Hey.." She looks up at me
"Hi.."
"First I'm sorry and I'll never talk about your dad again"
"What about our dad?" Danny stands over me with his tray shocked.
"Nothing.." I look down.
"Allie tell me please"
"Danny it's nothing I shouldn't be involved"
"Are you crazy? If you know something about my dad then you're already involved now tell me what you know!"
"Look I dunno anything, I just know that my mom knows him"
"Really? Then she can help us find h-"
"Us? There's no us Danny!" Taylor says angrily.
"Why not? Don't you want to find dad?"
"No! He never wanted us! You know this!"
"Oh yh? Seon's dad never wanted him but he still showed up! Maybe dad does want us!"
"No-"
"Maybe he's in jail too!" Danny fights back.
"No! Danny he left! That's what mom said!"
"Fuck what mom said! She could be wrong just like she was wrong about Seon's dad!"
"Ugghh do whatever you want but leave me out of it!" Taylor gets up and storms out of the cafeteria. Danny sits staring at me who's just overwhelmed by what just happened.
"Allie please, please help me find my dad.."
"Why do you want to find your dad?"
"Because...I want someone to take me to fun soccer games and the movies, like Seon's dad does with him...he's always talking about his dad"
I scoot over to Danny and hug him tightly. I looked down at my food and start picking at it..
"Okay I'll help you..." He smiles and eats.
Honestly I dunno how I'll find his dad but I need to try.
I gather up my books and put them in my locker. I head off to gym to practice with Jordyn.
"You're late!" The coach says.
"Sorry class went over time"
"I don't care, 2 laps!" I looked at him like what?
"You heard me let's go!" I groaned and started jogging around the field.
"Pick up the pace Dawe!" I sighed and ran faster.
"Great now you'll make sure you get here on time correct?" I nod.
"I can't hear you!" This bitch knows I'm out of breath right?
"Yes..sir!" I manage to say and he blows his whistle.
After practice Taylor is waiting for me in the gym. I get dressed and head to her car.
"You okay?" She asks and I nod.
"Are you?" She nods and unlocks the car.
"Allie you have to promise me you won't help Danny"
"Why?" I say buckling up.
"Because I can't bare to see him hurt when he finds out that our dad really had abandoned us" I sighed and thought about it, Taylor's my girl but Danny is my friend and if it was me I would want to find my dad.
"I dunno Taylor, he really wants to know his dad"
"Okay fine we can ask my mom what happened" I sigh and nod as she starts up the car and heads home.
We get to the front door and she walks in greeting her mom who's in the kitchen.
"Good evening mom, look who came to visit" she looks back and her smile fades gradually.
"Oh hi Allie" I smile and wave.
"Hi.."
"Perfect timing hun, dinner's just about finished" Taylor nods and drags me to the back room to put down my bags.
"Where's Seon?" I ask scanning the hall and the other rooms.
"He spent the day by his dad so he'll be back tonight" I nod and the front door opens to reveal Danny.
"Good evening mom" she kisses this forehead.
I sit on Taylor's bed until she finished undressed.
"Change your clothes silly"
"I gotta bathe so" she flicks me off and heads outside to eat. I join them after plugging in my phone to charge.
Becky's POV:
I asked Shaks to bring Seon by to spend time with him. They spend the evening with me since CJ will be at the firm till 10 or so.
"Thanks Becky" Seon says after eating.
"No problem sweetie" I smile at him and wash up.
"You're good?" I ask shaks and he nods. Seon sits in front of the TV while Shaks helps me clean up. He's taking home Seon shortly.
"Becky, I really missed you"
"Me too Shaks.." He smiles at me and my smile fades after I remember what CJ-
"Becky I'm sorry..I didn't mean to kick you out or Allie, I really loved y'all and I shouldn't have-"
"It's okay Shaks" I say flicking away a tear.
"It's not okay, I was a real ass and I wish I hadn't hurt you" I hugged him tight.
"Dad are we going now?" Seon asks and I turn and wipe my tears.
"Yah grab your stuff" he nodded and grabbed his bag and head out to the car.
"I'm gonna take him home before Tasha blows up my phone" I laugh and guide him to the door.
Shaks turns and hugs me again and I smell his cologne, it's the same one he was wearing when we-
My thoughts are interrupted by his lips against mine. I haven't felt his lips in so long, I just can't...resist..
"Shaks..I'm" I say trying to catch my breath.
"What?" He stops and I show him my hand.
"Oh...I'm so sorry, I had no idea" he stepped back and sighs.
"I'm sorry Becky" he says before going through the door to his car. I watch them drive off and lock up behind me...sigh I still can't get over him.
Allie's POV:
After dinner I help Taylor and her mom wash up.
"Mom, can I ask you something?" She nods while scrubbing the pan.
"What really happened to dad?" She stopped and looked at Taylor then me then Taylor then me with her eyes wide open.
"What did you tell her?" She snapped at me.
"Nothi-"
"What should she be telling us mom?" Danny comes in and interrupts.
"Drop this"
"Why mom? Why can't you just tell us?" Taylor begs.
"Taylor I said drop it!"
"No mom! Tell me where my dad is!" She was on the verge of tears.
"Taylor if you-"
"Tell us mom!" Danny said angrily.
"Stop!"
"Mom please!" Taylor is begging as I stand in a daze and Danny stares Tasha in her face as she fumbles on her words.
"Mom please I'm begging you!"
"He's dead!!" She shouted and stumbles into a chair. Taylor holds her mouth and gasp and Denny's facial expression turns from anger to shock.
"He's dead..." She repeated and cried her eyes out.
"I'm so sorry" I said and Tasha looks up at me.
"Shut the fuck up! It was your mother who killed him! Her and that bitch Sha-" The door pops open and in comes Seon and Shaks?
