Lauren Pov

Months after talking about kids with the girls we had finally decided to go to an adoption center and sign our names up. We had to wait until the tour ended before we could actually have the time to act on it. Waiting for the tour to finish also gave Camila the chance to think about it as well.

We were actually here, sitting in the small office, waiting. We had both agreed on a daughter, the name still unknown. Camila couldn't keep still, her legs bouncing up and down nervously. I on the other hand sat up straight crossing my arms, staring at the door that our new addition to the family would walk out of.

"Do you think she'll have our traits?" Camila asked, turning to face me.

"Maybe. She wasn't exactly born from one of us, but maybe." I said, resting my hand on one of her knees and bringing it to a stop.

"Oh yeah. What if she has piercing green eyes like yours. She'll have no trouble with the girls... Or the boys. Lauren what do you think her sexuality will be?" Now she was rambling.

"Camz, I love you but calm down. Just wait. We will find all of this out come time, but I don't really care what her sexuality is. As long as she loves me and you, I'll be happy." I said, kissing her on the cheek. This seemed to bring her peace on the inside, reassurance.

The door opened, grabbing both me and my wife's attention. Our eyes didn't meet a little girl though, but instead a tall older woman who approached us.

"We are so very sorry for the delay, but the young girl is a bit... Sad still. She doesn't want to come out of the room. You see, her parents just died in a car accident and... She's not doing so well. I think it will take a little time for her to warm up to you guys. If you could follow me, I'll introduce you to her." She spoke, motioning for us to follow her.

Once inside the room, we spotted the young girl curled up in a ball in the corner. Her arms were across her face, blocking it from view. Her long black hair also covered her face, reminding me of how my hair used to be a long time ago. I smiled to myself thinking 'this girl does have traits of us'.

"Hey baby, can we come in?" I said gently, walking over and sitting on the couch, my eyes never leaving her. I saw her peeking beneath her hair, and noticed two deep hazel eyes stared back. Freckles dotted her cute button nose, along with big full lips, her bottom one trembling. Damn, if I said so myself this child came from me and Camila.

"Hey," I smiled, "I'm Lauren, and this is my wife Camila. We would like to talk to you a bit if you let us?" She seemed to consider it, but cowered back even more.

"I'll leave you guys alone." The lady said, and left us and the cute little girl alone in the room. This would certainly be a challenge, but I could handle it.

Camila instantly sat in front of the little girl with her legs crossed like she was a child as well. This caught the girls attention.

"I'm sure I'm just as scared as you right now. Scared that, if you did come with us, you would hate me for some reason. But I know that I'm just like you at heart. And maybe that could influence us in having a nice relationship. So, lets start by introducing ourselves. I'm Camila, but most people call me Mila. In this case, you can call me anything you want." She said, extending her hand. She was so open and so good with the girl. The girl took her hand happily.

"I'm Elena. Nice to meet you, ma'am." She smiled. Camila smiled back.

"That's a pretty name! Perfect to go with a pretty girl." Such a charmer. This made the girl giggle.

"I want you to meet someone I love very much," she said before turning and facing me, now extending her hand to me, "she would like to meet you. Don't be scared. She's just as friendly as I am." I walked over and took her hand, interlacing our fingers together and sitting cross legged like my wife.

"Hi." Elena smiled shyly.

"Hey, there. My name is Lauren, how are you sweetie?" I asked tilting my head.

"Not so good." She responded. I then saw tears forming in her eyes, but they were quickly dried by Camila's soft caress on the girls cheek.

"You want to tell us why?" She asked, still caressing the girls cheek.

"Are you my new mommies?" She asked. My heart instantly jumped in my chest.

"Only if you want us to be, kiddo." I said, squeezing Camila's hand.

She looked up, probably in thought. It must have been hard to lose your parents and then be expected to accept new ones in your life. I could only imagine what she was going through.

"You know, I don't have a Dad anymore. My mom is gone as well, I haven't seen her since he passed. So its okay. I understand what you must be going through. And we will be there for you, help, and care for you as best as we can. It's your decision if you want to come home with us. We won't force you." I tried to relate to the small girl in some way. Her hazel eyes showed a gentle and kind nature to them. But I'm sure inside she was still mourning and upset, just putting up walls to prevent us from seeing her so vulnerable.

She then took me to surprise and climbed in my lap, wrapping her arms around me and burying her face in my chest.

"Oh, I don't get hugs!" Camila laughed, causing the girl to hop out of my lap and tackle Camila in a tight hug.

"That's what I thought!" Camila giggled, tickling the girls sides and making her gasp for air in a heavy intoxicating laugh. Soon, we were all laughing.

The lady walked in, now holding a bunch of papers.

"So with all this laughter I hear, it seems that the Cabello-Jauregui family has a new addition?"

"It seems so." Camila answered, now looking at me and smiling.

This will be a great new addit
