Chapter 1: Whats happening?

Chapter 1:

"I'm home!" I yelled walking into my house putting my bag down in the living room. there wasn't an answer. they must be outback, I headed towards the back door seeing my mom and dad doing yard work. My mom was tending in her garden and my dad was fixing the lawn mower that seemed to break every time we needed it to work.

"How was your last day at school sweetie?" my mom asked brushing the dirt off of her hands to give me a hug.

"It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. they let us do nothing since we were seniors."

Today was the last day of high school for me, sure high school was fun but I'm so glad it's finally over.

"Can Cassidy sleep over?" I asked although I knew Cassidy was already on her way here.

"Of course!" my dad yelled as I walked back inside.

I hurried up stairs to put my bag in my closet and came back down stairs to see if Cassidy and I needed to go get any food. Which we do.

"Chloe!" she yelled, I laughed opening the front door.

"Food supplies?" she asked with a worried look on her face.

I responded with a simple "We are going to need more."

We walked into the local grocery store heading straight towards the snack aisle. We threw in probably the most unhealthy food we could have chosen.

"What ice cream should I get?" I asked Cassidy.

"Ummmm how about mint?" she said.

We each would split up and grab what we wanted, it just went a lot quicker that way. I knew where the ice cream was but I still for some reason enjoyed looking down every aisle. I came across the large freezer doors which contained the ice cream. My eyes scanned as far down as I could across the freezers until I noticed someone a few feet away. I took a short glance at him, he was pretty cute. he had blonde hair, blue eyes, and was a bit taller than me. I silently went for what I came for and left still glancing back at him. I feel like I know him, that's strange.

The Next Day...

I woke up and saw Cassidy still sleeping on my bed, we took turns each time we sleepover at each other's house. I rubbed my eyes and stood up walking over to her. I shook her until she finally woke up.

"What time is it?" she whined.

"11:35" I said through yawns.

"Oh man I promised my mom I would be back at 11." she said jolting up.

"Ill text you later. Bye Chloe" she said giving me a hug.

"Bye." I hugged back.

I quickly changed into some shorts and a t-shirt. I made my way down stairs, I looked everywhere but no one was down here.

"Mom! Dad!" I yelled out.

As if to answer me, I heard a noise at the front door, it sounded like someone was trying to get in. I made my way to the kitchen and sat behind the counter hoping my head was just making up these noises. Then I heard glass hit the ground, who ever it is they are coming through the window.

I began to panic when a women shouted my name.

"Chloe! Come on where are you. You know we have missed you so much."

What was happening!

Suddenly more footsteps echoed by the front.

"Find the girl" the women said angrily.

I quickly climbed behind one of the couches. I saw a man begin to walk into the same room I was in, he was peering around every corner. I was hoping that he wouldn't find me.

Unexpectedly I saw him fall to the ground lifelessly and the blonde boy that was in the store yesterday was standing there. He scanned the room, once his eyes met mine he began to come closer.

"Please don't hurt me " I whisper cried moving back further. He looked at me confused.

"I'm here to help you Chloe. Hurry I only knocked them out for a bit, they will wake up soon. We need to get out of here."

Should I trust him? I mean he did save me, but I have no idea who he is.

"Your parents sent me, I'm close with them. And I would never harm you in any way. Please trust me."

He held out his hand I took a quick look at his hand before cautiously putting my hand in his. He pulled me up guiding me out the front to a dark black range rover, opening the passenger door for me. I climbed in as he got into the car himself. Before I could say anything he sped off.
