Chapter 24: Missing You

Chloe's P.O.V.

"You're joking right?"

"I wish I was."

I stood up from the couch and laughed. No one tells me whether I can or cant speak to my family and friends. I was finally reunited with them after training for months, being held captive, and almost dying!

I was looking forward to going back with Niall, moving in with him and continuing our relationship. Sure I spent time with him lately, but that doesn't mean I don't want to ever speak to him again!

"There has to be some exception or something you can do. I need to have contact with my family and friends." I wasn't ready to let go that quick.

Nathan sighed heavily, pushing himself from the book case he was leaning against to come over to me.

"There are 2 things we can do Chloe." he placed one of his large hands on my shoulder. I shook it off still furious at all of them.

"Like what?"

"Either you can stay here and have very limited contact with family, and I do mean limited. Or we can hypnotise you making you forget about your family and let you stay here for 3 months to see if this is something you wish to go through with."

"What would happen after those 3 months and I decode to stay?"

"We make you forget completely, so you can continue to be here without any disruption."

I know he was giving me good options to choose from, but it wasn't that simple for me. I should have been able to come right out and say what I wanted to do, although I needed to take into account of whats at stake.

"Ill let you sleep on it." Nathan began to leave.

"Oh and Chloe?" he said turning around right as he was at the entrance to the room.

"Yes."

"There is no hard feelings on what you decide, we will understand what ever way you choose to go."

Nathan was followed by the others as I made it up stairs into my room. I sat by the window staring out at the forest below me, watching the trees sway in the wind and the animals running across the forest floor.

I needed to figure out which choice was the right one.

I rose up from my position by the window and grabbed a sheet of paper and a pen and began to write pros and cons of staying here.

Pros:

Ill make my parents proud

Its a once in a life time oppertunity

I can learn how to master my powers

Cons:

I wont see my family or friends at all

No contact with anyone

I wont have a future besides staying here

There are guidelines I have to follow

No freedom

I wont see Niall

I cant go to Niall when Im scared, nervous or stressed

I wont be able to see his smile and bright blue eyes.

It took me 20 minutes to write down a general view on my choices. Going back through, there were more cons than pros and most of them involving Niall.

I know that I cant last if I cant see Niall. I have grown so used to him always being there throwing in a cheeky comment here and there. pulling me close as we drift off to sleep. The way he would kiss me every morning and every time before we went to sleep. I couldn't do this.

The Next Morning...

I woke up clinging to a pillow, and quickly got up knowing what I would have to tell Nathan.

I took the picture of Niall and I that I had on my phone and smiled before turning off my phone.

Taking deep breaths I slowly made my way down the large staircase and into the large formal dining room that everyone was currently seated in.

"Good Morning." Genevieve smiled as she passed me holding onto a plate full of eggs, bacon and pancakes.

"Morning." I half smiled before taking a seat at the end of the table across from Noah.

"What have you decided? I can tell you have been thinking a lot about this."

I laughed remembering my pros and cons list.

"Yes, I have."

There was a long pause before I answered.

"Ill stay here for 3 months and see if I like it."

"Great! I had a gut feeling thats what you would pick. Before we get down to business there is a plate waiting for you in the kitchen."

After eating a large breakfast that was made for me, I followed Genevieve and Nathan down another long hallway. They had way too much space here.

I knew what they were going to do, make me forget about my loved ones for 3 months. It was a part of the deal.

"Genevieve will you do me a favour?" i asked fiddling with my phone in my hands.

"Of course what is it?" she smiled.

"Hold my phone for me for the 3 months. Knowing me Ill look through it finding the pictures of my family and friends. I just want this to work out." she nodded her head as I continued to ramble on.

I placed my phone in her delicate hands. When I looked up I saw a bright light that flashed before me, making me forget.

Niall's P.O.V.

Its been roughly 2 months since Chloe left. Her family, realising this was great for Chloe, moved on with their daily lives. I knew they still missed her like I do but they were good at not showing it just like the boys and Cassidy.

I on the other hand, was breaking at the seams. I don't find the need to get out of bed and continue on with the day, since she isn't here.

I have been honestly trying to be happier for her but I just keep wishing she was here giggling and smiling. Every little thing reminds me of her. It could be a simple word someone mentions in a conversation to a show on the telly.

I missed how she snuggled up to my chest every time she was cold. The way she would bite her lip when she was focused on something. Her tiny soft hands that would always poke my cheek and play with my hair when we kissed. Those beautiful eyes of hers that always caught my attention.

I wonder why she hasn't called me, I knew that she would be busy. But I was at least hoping for one call. Ive called her, texted her and left her voicemails hoping that if she couldn't call me or respond back that she at least knew how much I have been missing her.

All I know is that I nee her with me now. Im going to find her and see her even if its just for a minute.
