Chapter 8: Last Week

Chloe's P.O.V.

How come we always find them like this?

I bet something happened last night.

Louis give them a break.

I woke up to see Louis and Zayn standing in front of us. I got up Niall still sleeping and pushed them out. Once they were finally out I ran over to Niall and jumped on the bed trying to wake him up.

"Stop.....5 more minutes" he groaned taking a pillow and putting it over his ears. I giggled before leaning down and planting a kiss on his lips, his eyes suddenly opening.

"Morning Chloe" he smiled kissing me again, I could get use to this. I was the one to pull away "I need to get ready for my last day of training with Liam." he slipped on his clothes and headed out to his room, but giving me another kiss before leaving.

I went to the bathroom taking a quick shower, I wrapped a soft blue towel around my body walking into my room slipping on some clothes. I was almost done drying my hair when all the power went out in my room. Stepping out of the bathroom I went over to the light switch flipping it on and off waiting for the power to turn on again.

"That wont work while I'm here" a voice said from behind me almost in a whisper. I turned around, no one was there. I shook it off, its just your mind playing tricks on you Chloe. My hand went towards the door when it suddenly locked.

I turned around to see a man with a large frame standing before me. I couldn't scream I was in too much of a shock to even move anymore.

"Jarrod cant wait until your his. He has everything planned out for you. Don't worry well bring Niall along with us. You guys are together right?" he smirked walking over to me his hand rubbing my cheek. I tried to move but couldn't.

"Why are you trying to move? You cant anyway that's one of my abilities along with invisibility. Only 1 more week babe, before we come and take you. Jarrod needs to make all of the preparations before your birthday." he said before disappearing. Once he left I dropped to the floor screaming. I could hear footsteps of the boys and I think Jessica, Catie, Reagan, and Zoe as well.

They all looked scared once they found me.

"S-s-s-some guy came.....he's with Jarrod"

"Get the girls out of here we cant risk them getting hurt either. Louis, Zayn and I will go with the girls since we have already mentored Chloe. Ill leave some last tips about mind reading on a notepad and you need to begin training with who ever is next. Harry and Niall you guys are going to have to train her together this week." I nodded as the boys left.

I hugged Zoe, Catie, Reagan, and Jessica before they left.

"Wait!" I said before they all could leave.

"How did you end up dating the boys?" I asked, I was going to ask them this after the movie but we all were preoccupied. I also wanted to get my mind off the man that was sent by Jarrod.

They laughed. "Really right now you want to ask that?"

"I just want to get my mind off Jarrod" they nodded

"Well we each have the exact same ability. Since we are enchanters we are drawn to who ever has the same power. In my case I was drawn to Harry since we both can protect anyone who we focus on, like a shield.'  Zoe said, I smiled its cute how they all share the same power. Hmm I thought Niall said girls had more powers, maybe its just a coincident.

"Bye Chloe, well see you soon" Jessica said giving me a hug. Each girl followed as I waved to them as they left with Liam, Louis, and Zayn.

So now it was just Niall, Harry and I. I went over the notes that Liam left, nothing new just reminders.

Since technically today was supposed to be my last day of training with Liam I showed Harry and Niall how good I was at reading minds now.

The Next Day

"Who's going to be mentoring you next?" Niall asked taking my hand, lacing our fingers together. "Harry" he nodded and headed over to the table watching us.

"So lets get started shall we?" he asked smiling.

"Sure. So what's your power?'

"I can protect a certain person by thinking of them, shielding them from harm. For example Niall can you take that screwdriver over there and stab it in Chloe's leg?"

I looked over at Harry with wide eyes, then over to Niall.

"I'm not going to hurt her Harry"

"We both know she wont get hurt, remember my ability" he said as Niall sighed picking up the screw driver, walking over to me.

"Woah, you are not going to stab me in the leg!" I said backing away.

"Just trust us Chloe" Harry said.

"I swear if you hurt me I'm going to..." I was cut off by Niall trying to stab me in the leg.

"See he can't" Harry said. Niall let go of the screwdriver and kissed my forehead.

"Now your turn" Harry grabbed the screwdriver and positioned it towards Niall's leg.

"Wait she hasn't even practiced yet! No offense love, but I don't want my leg punctured by a screw driver."

"She needs to get this down quickly" Harry came towards Niall tackling him to the ground before he could respond.

I ran towards Harry trying to take the screw driver out of his hand. When Harry couldn't hurt Niall with the screw driver, I sighed in relief.

"See its easier then it looks. Just focus on who you want to be shielded and there you go." Harry ran inside leaving me and Niall alone.

"You know I was going to kill him if he hurt you" I said helping him up off the ground.

"I would have too" he smiled leaving a short but passionate kiss on my lips. I smiled taking his hand before we walked back inside.

"Looks like Harry couldn't stand being away from his new girlfriend." Niall laughed picking up a handwritten note from Harry. I chuckled, only Harry.
