Steve had noticed how Bucky and Natasha had been closer over the last few weeks.
He also knew that Bucky still didn't remember Natasha.
Steve felt bad for her.
Bucky had remembered everything about his and Steve's friendship, but nothing of Natasha.
Steve felt like there must be something he could do to help.
He thought about setting up a date for his two friends.
Something small and quiet.
Maybe it would trigger something, making Bucky remember.
Steve decided it was worth a try.

Later that evening, while Natasha was drying her hair after having a shower, Jarvis told her Steve wanted to meet her in the dining room.Natasha sighed and slipped into a pair of jeans and a too-big hoodie.
She walked through the tower until she reached the dining room.
There was a surprise waiting for her.
There was a table with a white cloth draped over it with flowers and candles lit.
Dinner was already waiting.
Spaghetti?
Natasha frowned and walked further into the room.
What was going on?
A door opened from behind her and Bucky walked in, wearing work out clothes.
He had obviously just been in the gym.
Bucky seemed just a shocked as she had been when he saw the table.
However, when he saw Natasha, everything became clear.
"Let me guess, Steve asked to meet you hear too?" He smiled.
Natasha laughed a little, understanding what had happened.
"Yep", she replied.
Bucky walked over to the table and grinned, looking at Natasha.
"This is such a Steve like thing to do", he said.
Natasha walked over and stood by his side.
The table looked like something out of a movie.
"I swear that man has watched too many romance films", Natasha smiled.
Bucky nodded in agreement.
They both sat at the table and laughed when they couldn't see each other through the flowers and candles on the centre of the table.
Bucky moved the flowers to the floor and Natasha blew the candles out before pushing then gently to the side.
They then looked at each other and couldn't help but smile.
Steve had gone through so much effort.
The two began eating and talking.
Natasha told Bucky how they were never really romantic and Bucky said how his idea of an ideal date was very different to Steve's.
"I would much rather order take out before laying on a sofa, watching rubbish movies until we fall asleep", he told her.
Natasha couldn't help but smile.
"That is literally how we used to spend our Saturday evenings", she laughed.

At the end of the evening, Bucky and Natasha had eaten the spaghetti and slowly made their way to Natasha's room."I better go shower", Bucky told her.
"Okay", Natasha nodded.
She kissed his cheek lightly before pulling back to look at him.
She smiled softly.
They hadn't kissed properly since the night in the roof at James's old apartment.
Since then, Natasha had tried to stop thinking about such things, it was only fair.
She wanted to give him time to figure out what he wanted to happen between them.
Bucky smiled before saying goodnight before heading back to his own room.

On his way back to his room, Bucky bumped into Tony."Hey!" Stark greeted loudly.
"Evening Tony", Bucky replied.
Tony frowned before speaking again.
"I need to ask you something, do you love her?" He asked referring to Natasha.
Bucky was shocked by how forward Tony had been by the question.
"Um...I know I used to", he said slowly.
Tony nodded.
"Yea, I know, but what about now, I mean she obviously still loves you", Tony pointed out.
Bucky sighed not sure what to say.
"Honestly, stark, I don't think my feeling for Natasha are any of your business", he eventually said with a smug smile.
He then walked away to his room.
Tony stood smiling.
Oh yea, of course Bucky loved her.
Tony was going to get him to admit it one way or another.
