Kimberley's POV

"What the--"

Hit by a paper ball. Again. I got caught out daydreaming and hit by a paperball. Again. I looked up, hiding behind my

guitar.

"Sorry..." I knew I needed to concentrate. I knew that 'this' was something that could take my mind of off her... well, at least, I thought it would.

But Cheryl was proving more difficult to ignore than I thought possible. What are the chances that on the day I decide to physically 'ignore' her, she ends up scaring the sh!t out of me ..in a nice way, though.

I couldn't hide my smile as I thought back on her. I wonder what she was running from. She looked so beautiful like that all out of breath...

"OUCH! Hey!"

Another paper ball fell to the floor after hitting its target: my head. I heard a whistle and looked up. It was Nicola. She

shook her head, her long hair, waving over her eyes as she looked at me with an enormous grin.

"Where are you? Are you on earth?"

"She's in her 'happy place'," answered Tommy as he was covertly trying to create another paper cannon ball. "I think I

wanna know where that 'happy place' is. If I could pull a smile like that just with a thought, I'd be happy all day!"

I shot my most evil glare his way, but just ended up laughing. Tommy always makes me laugh. I'm really lucky. We

make a good unit.

"Sorry. I got distracted... I was actually thinking of YOU, Tom" I said as I raised my eyebrows as 'suggestively' as I

could manage. They all went quiet, then simultaneously they all burst out in laughter. I had to laugh too. They all

knew about my um, 'secret crush'.

It didn't matter to them, which I loved. What I didn't particularly 'love' was that they all treated me like their little sister and made fun of and embarrassed me as often as possible... especially in public... Yup. We were like a little family. It was good though.

"Ok. Lets take it from the second chorus..." I said, blowing and brushing the stray hairs from my eyes. Sigh. Don't

think of Cheryl. Don't think of Cheryl...
