Kimberley's POV

My heart was beating violently. I could feel it pulsing in my neck. Chezza... what is she doing here? Her expression
caught me off guard. She looked so... wow. My full glass of icy water was all over me now. Water, dripping from my
shirt to the floor. But I couldn't be bothered... Then I saw her eyes tracing the outline of the wet shirt.

Focus!

I blinked my eyes, hoping that it would somehow do something... but she was still looking at me. And I was still wet. I opened my mouth to say something, anything. But I was lost. I couldn't take my eyes off her. And then her lips. She
was using them well, licking her lower lip...

Oh sweet Jesus.

I let my eyes wander over, admiring the way her shirt clung to her and glanced up at her again; still so lost. She
looked cute. Her eyes were glazed over and they were fixed on me. I could watch her like this forever...

Unexpectedly, she was out of my view and I was transported out of my trance. I was pushed back into the crowd, away
from her. My eyes scanned the crowd for her when Tommy shouted from the backroom that it was time to go on stage.

Cheryl's POV

A redhead, me favourite blonde and another bloke stood there in the middle of the large room, looking over at the
large crowd of people assembled near the makeshift stage. As the redhead glanced over the crowd as if to make sure
everything was okay, Kimberley looked lost in her thoughts. She was wearing a tight leather jacket over her wet shirt
to cover her modesty, if the crowd wasn't there, I would have sincerely objected to it.

Just then, the lights in the room went off and spotlights shone on them. The redhead and the bloke sang enthusiastically with Kimberley and soon, fast, good music was flowing over us and I was totally enthralled, pulled in by the music. There was no denying it, they were good. I tried to catch her eyes, but wasn't sure if she could see us in the dark room.

When the band finished their numbers one by one, to enthusiastic applause, the bloke said, "And that ladies and
gentlemen, is a wrap. Now, before we play anything else, I would like to call up onto stage my favorite singer of all
time, Kimberley, to give us a little performance."

Kimberley shot him a look that clearly wished him a very painful death but smiled at everyone else and made her way
to the centre of the stage. The lad handed her his guitar and stood back, leaving the entire stage to her.

"I'd like to sing a song that's not mine, it's by Goo Goo Dolls, but it's close to my heart." Kimberley said and she
looked directly at us, if I had any doubt before now that she didn't know where I was, it all got erased as she started
softly strumming the opening chords. As she sang, she closed her eyes and let the song take over. I closed me eyes and felt her voice doing so many things to us, the words, her voice and Kimberley in general. How could I not cry, this
song was the way I felt about her.

"And I'd give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now

And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight

And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am "

She opened her eyes briefly as she sang the chorus, only to catch me eyes again, her cheeks rosying a bit, probably
because of the way how me gaze was totally entirely fixed on her. Closing her eyes again she began the next verse.

"And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive

And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am "

She let the last note trail softly before she opened her eyes to look at the sea of smiling faces before her. She thanked the crowed, before she handed the guitar back to the other bloke and made her way over to..us?? Oh my god,

I wanted to move, to hide somewhere, before she asked us what I was doing here and accuse us of being a stalker, but me legs wouldn't move. Damn you legs, you have a mind of your own. Expecting the inevitable, I dared to look up and meet her gaze and saw her blushing, it was hard to tell in the dark room, but I swear I could see a tinge of red in her cheeks.
