Cheryl's POV
I caught meself out again. I was looking for her. Giving myself a silent smirk, as I shake my head. I'm really getting
crazy. I feel like such a stalker... but where IS she? She should be done with her class by now? She should be outside,
sitting under that tree, right there...
"... so I told her that we would definitely be there."
"Hmm? What was that? Sorry, Sarah, what were you saying?"
"The party, Cheryl! This weekend. It's gonna be HUGE! Everyone is going to be there!"
"uh-huh..." I mumble, still looking out at me favourite tree... Where are you?"
"... yeah it's going to be amazing, Sarah... I think I'm gonna invite that new girl. Kimberley."
WHAT!? Me head spun back to the party discussion. Suddenly VERY aware of what was being said. I was met by a
maddening grin belonging to Justin. We've never really had any issues before this moment. But suddenly and
unexpectedly, I completely loathed him. Most of the crowd at the table looked at him with vague stares of recognition, most of the boys knew without any hesitation...
"What?!" he shot back. "She's HOT!"
"She seems a little weird though, don't you think. She never talks to anyone..." I said trying to change their minds.
Stay calm Cheryl. Stay calm. Try to look normal. Try to look... Indifferent.
"Well, I heard that she's some sort of "prodigy" or something. She thinks she's too good to talk to any of the 'little
people'..." MORE laughter. MORE high fives... I just want to hit somebody. Any one of them will do.
"Are you alright, Cheryl? You look a bit flustered...?" Sarah asked, her voice full of concern.
"No. Yeah... I mean... I'm fine. I just feel... I just feel a... a little sick... excuse me."
I could hear Sarah's voice call out behind us, but I couldn't stop. I had to get away from there. After I got out of the
canteen, I just started running. I didn't stop until I reached the front entrance.
Fresh air. Me bag fell to the ground as I bent over gripping me'knees, breathing heavily. I looked up and stopped
breathing when I saw a pair of beautiful eyes and full lips that I knew all too well staring back at us in surprise.
