Twenty Two

"Let's run over the plan one more time," Jojo said.
"Oh my gosh we've done this five bajillion times! Let's get ready now!" Kenny protested.
"After this we'll get ready," Jojo promised, "And this is a test to make sure you doofs have been listening."
"Oh snap," I said sarcastically.
"Firstly, Kenny, you and I will be where?" Jojo asked.
"Inside of this living room hiding with our bags of water balloons," he answered.
"Great. And where will you be, Martin?" Jojo asked, turning towards Martin.
"I'll be hiding in the forest halfway between their camp and ours until they pass me and I go to their camp," Martin answered.
"Good and where will you be, Leighanne?" Jojo asked me.
"At the end of the hallway covered in blankets and pillows which they won't notice the difference because it'll be dark and I'll have my water balloons," I said trying to sound intelligent.
"Perfect! We now know for certain that Leighanne was listening. So, Courtney's group will come in and what will you and I do, Kenny?" Jojo asked, turning back to Kenny.
"We will quietly get out of our spots once they are about to enter the hall. I will flick on the lights and you will follow them there and throw your water balloons on them and I will run after and throw my water balloons at them too and I'll shout something like 'get owned!' or whatever," he said.
"I didn't actually tell you to say something like 'get owned!' but that's awesome so do that," Jojo said, "And as they are passing the island you will do what, Leighanne?"
"I will get out slowly and slide across the floor towards them until the lights go on. Then, I'll get up and throw my water balloons too," I answered.
"Good. And we will have a little chat with them and while they are doing that, Martin will do what?" Jojo asked, turning towards Martin.
"I'll hang this poster that says 'you got pranked!' on their hallway entrance and pretty much teepee the place," Martin replied, holding up a poster we had made on some butcher paper that said 'you got pranked!'
"And when will you leave?" Jojo asked him.
"Immediately after I'm done," he answered.
"Great. Any questions?" Jojo asked.
"After our chat with Courtney, how do we get her out?" I asked.
"I'll tell them 'best you leave now or else we'll get our counselor," Jojo said.
"Okay," I said.
"Anyone else?" she asked. No one spoke for a few seconds.
"Let's get ready," Jojo said.
