We woke up half expecting a prank, but instead, Evelyn said, "The head counselor is expecting you today. We will be getting into the camp trucks with cabin 6 after breakfast and we will drive you there to speak to the head counselor."
"Why?" Jojo asked, looking nervous, "What's it about?"
"I don't know. They didn't tell me," she said.
"Okay," Jojo said. Breakfast was slow and I caught Courtney giving me some glares. But after a breakfast of a bagel, an apple, and some juice, we finally all got in the trucks. It was pretty much two white trucks with the Camp Oriole logo painted on the side of it with a U-Haul trailer on the back. They opened the back of it and let us in. They stuck a flashlight on the ceiling and we all sat on the floor of the U-Haul trailer.
"Get comfy, y'all. It might be a long ride," Evelyn said before closing the back door of the trailer.
"I'm scared. I feel like a prisoner or something," I admitted.
"Me too. Don't worry. We have nothing to be ashamed of," Jojo said, "All we've done is some jokes and if jokes are wrong according to them, then I think their interpretation of right and wrong is seriously wacked." I nodded to Jojo who was sitting across from me.
"And plus, Courtney was the one who put thumbtacks in our shoes and punched you in the shoulder and the nose. She's probably gonna be the only one in trouble," Martin agreed.
"Yeah. And if the guy questions our pranks, we'll make excuses and say we were team building or something and that it was kind of a way for me to stand up to a bully," I agreed.
"There you go. That's the spirit," Jojo replied.
"Like Evelyn said. Get comfy y'all. It might be a long ride," Kenny said, imitating Evelyn. We all laughed and we laid down on the floor of the trailer and we all fell asleep.
