I slowly walked down the yard, placing my feet at the right time, synced with the music like we practiced.
Chase smiled at me from the Cherry Blossom tree, him in his little black tux.
Once I got there, he held my little hands in his and said his vows.
"Dear, Bella." Chase started, in his little chirpy voice. "I promise to protect you when we are old from the boogie man, and big foot." After saying his name, Chase peeked over my shoulder to make sure he didn't appear.
"Dear, Chase." Now it was my turn. "I promise to kiss your booboo when you fall, and vacuum the house so it is always clean." I offered.
"You may now kiss the bride." Chase said in a low voice.
But I couldn't do it! My conscious got the best of me.
"No! Cooties!" I said, running away. Chase shrugged and walked back inside to finish Elmo's World.
