CHAPTER 14
*Sarah's POV* It felt like eternity but it had only been 3 days since I had been taken. I was constantly thinking of escape plans but always fell short when I counted in the fact I'm trying to escape vampires. Each day, twice a day Dominic a vampire I had met in this house would bring me food. The best words to describe Dominic were Buff, arrogant and attractive, and boy was he aware of it. But each day, twice a day I would refuse the food. It hit 6 o'clock and I knew it was only matter of seconds before I would here that door open and without fail, Dominic would walk in.
"Alrighty now human, I've been nice these past few days! But enough is enough! Eat the food or you will regret it!" He said with a mean look on his face. He stood much taller than me, with muscles twitching as he clenched his fists- he was intimidating, but not enough to make me eat. Did I forget to mention he didn't particularly like me? A simple "no" was all he got from me. "I'm not kidding. Eat. Now!" "You say this to me every day, how long before you get it? I'm not eating!" I yelled and turned my back to him. I had never yelled back at him, I usually let him do his little rant and then he would leave the room, but god dammit I'm getting sick of these vampires!
"You know? Fine! If you’re not gonna eat I might as well…" when Dominic said that I knew he wasn't talking about the food he had just brought me. I slowly turned around to look at what he was doing. He had set the tray of food down and was beginning to stalk me like an animal. He eyed me off, and mimicked my movements precisely so that I couldn’t have a chance of escaping his clutches. I knew this wasn't good and I didn't stand much a chance against him, I couldn't out run him, I couldn't over power him, the only thing I had was my voice. "HE-" I began to scream, but I was cut short, a large hand had me by the throat and had thrown me onto the bed, winding me. I coughed trying to regain my breath and tried to scream again but this time his hand was over my mouth before I could even make a sound. He had me pinned, using his body as a weight. That same sweet smell that I had sensed with Vincent was the same with Dominic, but now it was more intense as he was so close. His eyes were growing wider and crazier the more I struggled. I wriggled beneath his large body trying anything to get away from him but I could feel his large hand tighten on my mouth. "I wouldn't struggle if I were you it will only make the bite worse," he smirked. I started trying to pry his hand off my mouth but in one quick movement my hands were pinned above my head. He was faster than I could keep up with, he had moved my head to the side for easy access to my neck. He
raised his other hand and pushed my hair softly and delicately away, almost savouring the moment. Before I could even start praying to god that he would make it painless I felt his fangs tear into my neck. The pain was excruciating, like venom was seeping into me I was becoming more paralysed by the second. My struggling became weaker and the pain to the side of neck was almost non-existent as he continued to draw every last bit of blood he desired.
Dominic removed his fangs from my neck and began to stroke my face with hand, he gazed with such satisfaction that I was scared he was going to go for seconds. "I've never tasted something so sweet, you are the most delicious human I've ever drunk from," he smiled. He began kissing the side of my face making his way down to the two new holes in my neck. Before Dominic could have another taste of my ‘oh so sweet blood' he had been ripped off me.
"YOU IDIOT! HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID?!" A dark, grave voice came from out of nowhere. I could hear bang after bang and could only hope Dominic was getting the beating of his life. I couldn't think too much longer on it, my vision had become filled with little black dots. My vision became so blurry I couldn't even see who ever it was that was hovering over me. "I'll make everything better, I promise." We're the last words I heard before I was completely out.
