*Jason's POV*
"I, I accept you as my--mate Jason" She whispered to me. I watched as her eyes slowly closed shut.
"No!" I screamed in agony. I held her closer and I could only think of one thing that might possibly still help her, I know this isn't the way that I wanted this to happen but it was my last hope, I wasn't going to lose her! I lowered my head, extended my canines and bit into her neck covering the bite Vincent had made. Letting all of my werewolf genes pass into her, I could feel her sweet blood pouring into my mouth and I removed myself from her shoulder. I started to lick at the new mark I had left on her neck trying to stop any more blood from leaving her body, 'please let this work' I repeated to myself over and over again.
Werewolves heal faster than humans and I could only hope that my bite had made it in time and was able to cling to the little life she had left and bring her back to me healed and healthy. I watched her body for any signs of movement, but nothing was happening, the colour from her cheeks had faded and even the radiant glow she use to have was gone. My breathing was becoming erratic at the thought that I didn't make it, that I was just not fast enough. "No, no, no! Come on Sarah you can make it!" I started shaking uncontrollably and I could taste the salty tears that were hitting my lips.
I could hear movement behind me and turned my head to see what was making the noise. There had to be at least 70 werewolves surrounding Sarah and I, all bowing down on their knees, they were mourning the loss of their Luna, my mate. Tony and Lucas were the only two standing, they each placed a hand on my shoulder in comfort but I shook them off. "Don't! This isn't over yet!" I laid Sarah on the ground gently and placed both my hands over her heart and begun CPR, I wasn't going down without a fight!
"Jason stop, she's-- she's gone" Lucas had begun to break down and by the sounds of it had already given up!
"No! she isn't!" I yelled back "Come on! COME ON!" I was just about to breath into her mouth when she started to glow but more than what she use to, it looked like there was a light trying to escape from within her. Suddenly Tony, Lucas and myself were thrown back away from her body, I looked up at her to see her chest rising and falling, colour had returned to her skin and her eyes shot open.
"Sarah?" I asked, I couldn't help my voice from breaking. A little smile appeared on her lips and I felt warmth return to my body instantly, but she wasn't smiling for long. I could feel it just before she let out a piercing scream. I rushed over to her to see what was happening, was this the transformation of her turning into a werewolf? No, It's never usually this painful, I could feel my insides twisting and my blood actually felt like it was boiling. Suddenly I was knocked back off my feet for a second time but this time I saw what it was. Sarah was being encircled by what looked like a small tornado, but it wasn't your run of the mill tornado, it had fire at the base and earth begun to entwine itself from the bottom and water from the top. After a few seconds all these elements had become one and I could barely see Sarah anymore, what the hell was happening?! Two werewolves from my pack tried to break the tornado apart by running straight into it but they were just blown away as well. Suddenly the tornado stopped and the elements were suspended in mid air, they morphed all together and became a large brown ball and exploded knocking me off my feet hopefully for the last time. It became little brown shards and they all darted towards Sarah I tried to rush over to her to protect her but I wasn't fast enough, it looked like they melted right into her.
I finally reached Sarah to see if she was okay after everything that had happened, she seemed exactly the same as before but with no stomach wound and the bruises and cuts from before had disappeared, besides the weird new mark that was now on her wrist, she looked like my Sarah again. She gasped for air and her eyes shot open, I was shocked when I didn't see her normal deep hazel eyes but white shining eyes that held no colour at all, this doesn't make any sense this has never happened before from a bite. Her eyes started to fade back to the original beautiful hazel and she looked straight at me.
