That was a little embarrassing. I was friends with Toby, but now, I just don't know how I feel. even if I did ever decide that I was interested,(I might not), would he even feel the same way? And if he did feel that way about me, what if I was the one who didn't feel the same? I wouldn't want to hurt him, he was too sweet for that.

Oh, I wish that we felt the same about stuff so the other wouldn't walk away broken hearted. I feel like I'm interested, but I just got over a bad break-up, so maybe it's just rebound. I'm so confused. I was back in my apartment, lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I sighed and walked over to the computer. I haven't made a video in a while, so I decided it would make feel better. I sat down and felt around for my headset. I couldn't find it. Shit.

I can't lose that headset! My best friend from Canada gave it to me when I first started out, saying that I would become a famous Youtube Partner. It ended up coming true, sorta. I had just become a Youtube Partner about a week before I met Toby, so I wasn't as famous as people like SMOSH or anything. I only had about 2 million subscribers, but it was climbing. I was known as Jacilic,(jace-a-lick), and my friend suggested I get some t-shirts.

I only ordered them in shades of blue and green because they were my favorite colors. I got some black ones too, and they all had tiger stripes on them, usually in either silver, gold, black, white, or blue, sometimes green. I had gotten a sample shirt, one of the ones I thought would turn out best. It was black with silver stripes and white lettering. I never wore it around Toby. He didn't need to know about it.

I checked my drawers and throughout my house, but it were nowhere to be seen. Damnit, I must have left it over at Toby's. I pulled a jacket over my shirt and opened the door. I padded down the hallway barefoot, and quietly opened his door. I didn't wanna wake him up if he was asleep. I crept in and shut the dor behind me, stepping very lightly over to the computer.

I saw that the kitchen light was on, and I could hear laughing. I quietly walked over, curious about who else was over. I peeked in. Toby was standing there with another guy about his age, with black hair and brown eyes. He had striking features and a black jacket. He struck me as handsome, but lots of guys were. I stepped a little further into the kitchen. The man was the first one to notice me.

"I didn't know you had settled with someone. She's cute too, you lucky dog," he said, gesturing to me and clapping Toby on the back.

Toby smiled and gave me a curious look.

"No, she's my friend. She lives down the hall and comes over every now and again. Jacie, this is my friend, Gabe. He was supposed to be out of town, but he came back early and snuck in to surprise me, but he knocked over a glass and woke me up. Gabe, this is Jacie," he said, looking back and forth between us. I shyly shook Gabe's hand and looked back to Toby.

"Have you seen my headset?" I asked, looking down at my feet.

Gabe made me nervous, and I don't know why. Toby nodded and led me back to the computer. He scooped up my headset and handed it to me. I thanked him and headed for the door.

"Hey, don't I know you from somewhere?" Gabe asked. I stopped and turned around.

"No, I've never seen you before, and I don't know where else you would see me," I said, wanting to get out of there.

I don't know why, but it felt like he knew something I didn't want him to. He scratched his head in thought.

"You look familiar, I swear I've seen you before. I think it had something to do with when I was surfing the web," he said.
