She was great at video games. She was my kind of person, and I was glad I ran into her. She fell asleep watching a movie, so I flicked it off. No use watching it if she wasn't. I got up and stretched. I couldn't just leave her here, but what could I do? I picked her up and stumbled into the hallway. She was a little heavier than I expected.

'She wasn't fat! Ugh, stupid, bad Toby! That's like calling her fat! I need to watch what I think.'

I managed to get her door open and I flopped her onto her bed. I took some time to look around. Judging from what she had, she liked to read too. There were tons of fantasy books, and I saw a glasses case on the counter. I didn't know she wore glasses. She must have them for whenever she's too lazy, or if she loses her contacts. There was a laptop on her sidetable, with a webcam next to it. Weird, why would she need that? Probably for video chat.

I should probably leave before she wakes up, because then it would be awkward. I left her apartment, making sure to shut the door. I walked back to my place and jumped onto my bed, falling asleep. When I woke up, Gryphon was on my chest. I chuckled and scratched behind his ears. I groaned and got up, stretching. I walked into my kitchen and made some fresh coffee. I loved coffee. I sat down at my computer and opened Happy Wheels. I turned on my webcam and put oin my headset, clearing my throat.

"Hello once again, audience. When we left off, I had just been brutally murdered. As usual. Now, let's get started. And yes, I know my hair is messy, but I just woke up. All right then, let's do some pogo challenges," I said, looking up at the webcam for a second.

I switched to my nasal, nerdy voice.

"Alright, and here I go, and let's start with some easy jumps. Oh yeah, I'm doing great. I'm fine, got a neck of steel, aaaannnd I just popped my head off. Now I can never live my dream of being a wig model, even though I have hair. I just might shave my head so I can model wigs, but I guess it's pointless now," I said as my character snapped their head off on a pole I was trying to jump over.

I moved on to more challenges, did a couple Tobuscus quizzes. I was about to do one more level when there was a knock at my door.

"I'll be there in a minute," I called.

I looked back at the webcam. "Well, I've gotta go, audience. Thanks for watching! Bless yo face, and if you sneezed during this video, bless you. Peace off," I said.

I turned it off and saved the video. I got up and opened the door, running my hand through my hair. Jacie was at my door, and she looked really tired.

"Hey, um, this is kind of a strange question, but how did I get back to my apartment last night?" she asked groggily.

I smiled and looked down for a second.

"I took you back," I said.

She nodded and rubbed her eyes. "Okay, thanks. Sorry if I was an inconvenience. Wanna play Slender again today? We might be able to beat it this time," she offered.

I nodded and led her to the kitchen. I poured her a cup of coffee and slid it over to her. She looked like she needed it.

"Thanks, Toby. Hey, is Toby short for something?" she asked, taking a drink from her mug.

What? Why would it be short for something?

"No, It's just Toby. Why?" I asked.

She shrugged. "Nothing, I just know this other guy named Toby, but it's short for Tobithin. It's pretty weird," she explained.
