I did it!

I saved Jack!

I really did!

At least I think I did.

Merida keeps going on about something being wrong with Jack.

I don't see that.

He's just being himself, well, at least I think so.

"Rapunzel?", Jack said.

"What? What's going on?", I asked.

"I think you and Meri over there are tired. You guys keep zoning out.", he said.

I yawned.

"And that proves it. We're going to see if there are any rooms that those robots didn't destroy.", he said.

I noticed that there was something in his hair.

I grabbed his jacket and he stopped completely.

"Jack, there's something in your hair, and it's....", I suddenly stopped to see black.

He turned around and stared at me, eye to eye.
There was a hint of yellow in there.

It was very faint, that way, nobody would notice that healing Jack was a regretful mistake.

He grabbed that back of my head and pulled it to his shoulder.

He whispered such awful things to me.

"You're much more clever than I thought. You figured out that Jack is not Jack. Oh no....It's me. I'm just warning you now. If you tell anyone else, not only will you ruin my plans but, you might put the real Jack in danger. Now, is that what you want?", that is what he said.

"No. Don't hurt Jack or any of them for that matter.", I answered.

"Then keep your mouth shut, ingrate.", he said.

My eyes began to sting.

I guess Merida noticed because, she came right over where we were, dragging Hiccup, with a furious face on.

"JACK!!!!!!!!! WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER?!!!!", she scolded.

"Merida.....please calm down, or else.....", Hiccup couldn't finish because Merida had burst into flames.

"That will happen", Hiccup finished.

"JACK!!!! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT NOW, YOU HERE ME?!!!!!", she screamed.

He smirked and began to laugh, lightly.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING ABOUT?", she screamed again.

He kept on laughing.

She began to charge screaming, "DON'T MOCK ME!!!!!!!!!"

I ran in front of Jack and Merida completely stopped.

"Rapunzel, get out of my way.", she said.

"No! You shouldn't fight!", I screamed.

What I wanted to say was, the Jack I was protecting, isn't Jack at all but, if I said that, he'd do something horrible to Jack and the others.

Yet, if I didn't block the fake Jack, Merida probably would've done horrible damage to his body.

I couldn't let any of them get hurt.

"Stop crying, will ya. I won't fight.", she said.

Then, Merida turned her flames off and walked away.

Hiccup went with her.

I didn't even realize that I was crying.

He whispered again, "Good girl."

My eyes didn't sting this time.

Instead, they began to burn.

"You're a monster. You know that, don't you?", I asked the fake Jack.

"I'm not a monster. I'm just fear.", he smirked.

I fell.
