A/N: Massive sorry that this is late and this is also shorter than usual. The next one will be longer and updated quicker! Xx P.S. This isn't completely edited, apologies!
Chad's hands are tight against the wheel as he drives us home. Eric is in the back seat, pouting like a child. When I won, everything went a bit berserk. Ongoing lookers were intrigued who had gone fast and Eric...well Eric wasn't and still isn't too happy that I beat him. Shane was laughing his ass off while Chad shoved him in the shoulder and quickly came up to me to tell me we were leaving.
"Eric, I am telling you it is just beginners luck. Stop acting like a child."
"That wasn't beginners luck. That was the second time you raced."
"Oh my gosh. Who cares?"
"I care because I have a lot of money riding on the next race and I just got showed off by my little sister!"
"You're the one who wanted to race me!"
"She does have a point there," Chad finally speaks up in between the fighting.
"Yeah, but I didn't expect her to win!"
"You're such a baby!"
"Fine! Since you're so good then you just race that asshat guy. You'll beat him no doubt!"
"No! That's not even an option. She isn't racing," Chad says.
I look over at him, "Oh, okay. Thanks daddy. I forgot I had to ask you."
Eric makes a gagging noise in the back, "Never call your boyfriend daddy in front of me again. I think I am going to barf!"
"Daddy, I think he's a bit upset," I say to taunt Eric just a little more. Chad looks at me with a disgusted look.
"I don't care how turned on calling me daddy makes you, that will never happen. It makes me want to throw up," Chad says, causing me to fall into a fit of laughter.
"Y'all are a bunch of babies. But, that is disgusting. I'll stop calling you that," I promise.
"And shut the fuck up about what makes my sisters turned on. I don't need to hear that. I've punched you once I'll do it again, O'Connor."
And with that, we all shut up for the rest of the car ride.
.....
"Ha!" I smile as I pass Eric, again. He beeps the horn as my hair flies around my face through my window.
We decided to skip school for the day, earning an angry phone call from our father. The race tracks are empty. Eric wanted a rematch and of course I had to oblige. He lost, again.
This is the tenth time that we have raced and he has lost for the eighth time. Only two times he has beat me, one of them I let him but I won't tell him that. I put the car in park and watch as Eric comes up next to me. He slams his door shut and I can't help but let out a laugh. I step out of the car and walk over to him.
"Not bad," I tell him.
He shakes his head at me and pushes me away jokingly.
"I had no idea you would be good. I never wanted you in this part of my life. I was always so worried but it's been fun racing you. Even though I am pissed off you're better than me."
"Eric, it's not like I'm actually going to race."
"I know. I won't stop you if you want to though. I'm done with all that. I'll be worried but if it is what you want then I will support it."
