A/N: Massive sorry for the wait! College got a little busy and life got busy but here is the next chapter! Enjoy! P.S. Colton Haynes who plays Luke Emerson is on the side.
When I wake up I feel as if my bedroom is blasting with heat. It should be a cool temperature since we have air conditioning throughout the house. I try moving but find myself completely stuck by something. I open my eyes and find an arm hanging across my body. There's a slight snoring in my ear and it's then that I remember that Chad is here, in my bed, shirtless.
I look at my clock and practically scream as I see the time. It's half past eleven which means that I'm going to be woken up by Eric at any moment and I'm pretty sure he does not want to see Chad in my bed.
"Chad! Chad! Get up!" I whisper harshly.
He mumbles something that ends up sounding like a jumble of words. I roll my eyes and sit up. He's adorable when he sleeps. His face is free from its harsh features and he looks like a little kid. I continue to stare at his face like the weirdo I am until I hear footsteps coming up the stairs.
"She's asleep. You know how she is," Eric's familiar voice says.
"Well, I want to take her out," Luke says.
Luke! Shit! Oh, shit!
I push Chad off my bed and he lands on the floor with a harsh thud.
"Fuck! Ro!"
"What was that?" Luke asks.
Shit. Shit. This cannot be happening. No.
"Chad go hide on the balcony!"
He looks as if he's about to cuss me out but I don't care. There's a knock on my door and then Eric's voice asking if I'm okay. Chad's eyes widen and he quickly grabs his shirt and runs to the balcony.
"Yeah! Just changing!" I yell.
"Hurry up! I'm taking you out!" Luke yells.
Chad stops in his tracks and I nearly about yell at him for it. Seriously? He turns around and gives me a glare. Oh. Okay.
"Why is Luke here? Alone? To take you out?"
Oh.
"I don't know! Just go hide out on the balcony!" I tell him.
He shakes his head and puts his shirt on. What is he doing? He can't be serious right now. Doesn't he know that our lives are at stake? If Eric finds out he is going to murder us! I need to gently get him use to the idea of Chad and I, not throw him into the idea with me in a shirt and Chad in my bed.
"Get pants on," he orders.
I scowl at his tone but do as he says. I grab a pair of jean shorts and quickly throw them on. I look at my reflection in the mirror and feel like a crazy person. My hair is standing up in ways that should not be possible. I quickly throw my hair into a high bun and then run my hands under my eyes.
"Rowan! Hurry up!" Luke says.
Chad flips his middle finger in the air, even though Luke can't see him. I roll my eyes at his behavior and then want to slap him when he opens the door without warning and a hard glare on his face.
Luke's smile falters and Eric just looks confused.
"What are you doing here O'Connor?" Eric asks.
Luke looks behind him and to me, "Hey, Ro."
"Your sister took one of my CD's so I came to get it," he explains.
