A/N: Massive sorry for the wait!
When Monday morning rolls around my anger at Chad has still not evaporated. He is such a stubborn pain in the ass and is one cocky bastard. I begged Eric to take me to school but apparently it is a dire need for him to see Shelby in the morning. Screw him. Screw Chad. Screw the world. Screw life.
"Rowan! Hurry up!" Chad yells.
I look back at my reflection in the mirror and roll my eyes. My shirt shows a very little amount of my stomach and across my chest there is a word in big letters with "Los Angles" under it. My shorts are high waist, blue, and lacy. I put a gold chain around my neck and then make sure my hair is staying in its curls. Usually, I do not try this hard for school but I want to look good, especially since I have to see the bastard.
"Rowan!"
"I'm coming!"
One minute later I am walking down the stairs and find myself face to face with Chad and, surprisingly, Dennis. Chad's fists are clenched and I don't care to find out the reason.
"Hey, Ro. I let myself in. Hope that's okay," Dennis says.
Chad looks over at him, "No, it's not."
I scowl at the bastard, "I believe it's my house. Not yours, Chad. And yes, that's fine."
Dennis smiles while Chad just continues to glare. I walk in between the two of them and grab my school bag. Dennis looks somewhat nervous and unsure.
"Why are you here? No offense, just curious."
"I thought I could take you to school," he says.
Chad looks like he is going to punch a wall and I hope he does so then he breaks his fist. He looks at Dennis like he's grown another head and steps in front of me to be almost nose to nose with Dennis.
"I bring Rowan to school."
I will admit, that sounded hot. Damn Chad and his stupid good looks.
"Actually, not today. You can go Chad. Sorry to be a bother but I think I'll take Dennis' offer."
He narrows his eyes at me and then looks back over at Dennis, "You'll be late for school."
He shrugs his shoulders, "Don't care."
Chad looks back at me and for a moment I think he might protest but instead he shakes his head and walks out the door. Dennis smiles and then leans over to give me a kiss on my cheek. I roll my eyes at his behavior and follow him out the door. His black Audi R8 is waiting in my driveway and I mentally groan as I look at it. Lucky bastard. Only Dennis would be allowed to have a sports car in high school.
I hear the familiar sound of Chad's motorcycle and look up to find Chad giving Dennis a hard glare before speeding out of his driveway. I shake my head and get into the passenger seat. The black leather seats quickly cool down with the air conditioning. It's good that school is almost done. One more week and that is it. My exams got done in May since I'm in the AP classes. The only good thing that comes from AP classes is the fact you get done early.
"So, you coming to graduation?" Dennis asks before turning out of my driveway and heading towards school.
"Of course! You and Luke are graduating! It's a shock to us all! How could I not be there?"
He playfully smacks my arm, "Ey. Not nice."
"Only kidding."
We make our way towards the city and within a few minutes, due to his stupid speeding which I tried to get him to slow down but he did not listen to me, we make it to Brooklyn.
