A/N: The wait was so long! I apologize! I was crazy busy with school! This chapter was a little had to write but I hope you like it! P.S. On the side is Rowan's outfit!
Chad walks over to us and gives Luke a hard glare. Eric ignores the interaction and goes over to slap Luke on the back.
"Nope. You're coming with me tonight buddy. I haven't seen you in forever," Eric says.
Chad looks relieved whereas Luke looks annoyed.
"Sure. Maybe some other time, Ro," Luke says.
I nod my head, "No worries. I'm hanging with Josie and Macy tonight anyway."
He gives me a small smile and then follows Eric out the door. Chad stays behind, claiming to need to go upstairs and go to the bathroom before leaving. I head into my room, knowing that Chad is following me in. I turn around and am immediately brought to his chest. His lips crash against mine and I'm in heaven. That's all it takes for me to lose all sense of reality. The kiss ends quickly, much to my disliking.
"I just wanted to say a proper goodbye," Chad says.
I roll my eyes at him and gently shove him away from me, "Go. They're going to think you fell in the toilet."
He laughs at my words and then leaves my room. I hear his footsteps down the stairs and then the door closing to signify he left. I slouch back on my bed and turn on my music. I don't need to meet up with Josie and Macy for another hour so I have time to get ready. I change into a white tank top with a black bra underneath. People don't like this look but I actually do. I put on a pair of shorts and tie a long sleeved flannel around my waist. My hair is straight and I put a snapback on to complete the look.
The music is blaring in my room, just how I like it. My aunt always used to yell at me that I am going to become deaf soon. I'd always roll my eyes and turn it up louder. After fixing my makeup I grab a pair of sneakers and head out the door. Josie is parked in the driveway, her mini cooper shining in the moonlight. For her eighteenth birthday she was a given a car. Her parents are loaded and practically give her whatever she wants. I love Josie and all but I will admit that she needs to tone it down with the accessories. Macy is in the front seat and gives me a big wave as I make my way towards the car.
"So, what are we doing tonight?"
"I don't know. I mentioned to Eric that we might stop by to see his race," I say.
Josie instantly smiles, "Let's go."
.....
The lot is crowded with people, as expected. Macy goes straight to flirting with some guy who looks like a pot head. Josie follows me to where Eric and Chad are standing. Shelby is by Eric and practically clinging to him. She whispers something in his ear, causing him to smile. Her eyes hover over towards me and she squeals in what I presume is joy. I barely know the girl but she acts like we are best friends whenever I see her.
"Rowan! It's so good to see you!" She throws her arms around me and I can smell the liquor pouring off her body.
"Hi, Shelby."
She gives me a bright smile and kisses me on the cheek, "We need to hang out! I miss you so much!"
I look over at Eric and give him a look, "How much has she drank?"
He shakes his head, "Too much."
I nod my head and look over at Chad. Our eyes meet and all I want to do is smack my lips against his. I lick my lips, the feeling of his still lingering on mine. A small smirk crosses his face and I can't help but continue staring at his lips.
