A/N: Needs a little more editing, sorry! On the side is a picture of Rowan's outfit for the night.

The week goes by quick and before I know it, it's already Friday. School has gotten slightly better. Eric has introduced me to more of his new friends and explained how he met them all. I'm glad that we are finally acting how we use to. There is not many more secrets between us which is nice and it's even nicer understanding how he came to meet all these people.

Apparently once he started hanging out with Chad he met all these new people. He's still friends with our group from our old school but I can tell that these new people are becoming his better friends. He's more carefree with them and does not always have a scowl on his face which is nice to see. He explained to me the day after the introduction of his car racing of how he met Shelby. Once again, through Chad. Apparently she is Chad's cousin and Eric met her and started to like her. I didn't think he liked her as much as he does until he talked about her to me and then wouldn't shut up about it for an hour and eventually I had to shove a pillow in his face.

I make my way towards the cafeteria and head towards the table that Chad and I have been sitting at the past week. I am still receiving the annoying "new-girl" stares and at one point I even flipped someone off. Seriously, these people might as well take a picture so it'll last longer.

"Ahh, Ro. How's my little sister doing?"

I roll my eyes at his words. He will never let me live it down that he is only a few minutes older than me. I watch as he takes the seat across from me and Shelby follows suit. She gives me bright smile and then digs into her lunch which happens to be a very unappetizing salad. I steal a fry of Eric's plate which I end up receiving a glare from him for it.

"Two minutes, Eric. That is not a lot of time," I chastise him.

He chuckles and takes a sip of his drink, "Still older."

Chad walks over and slams his lunch tray next to mine. He gives me a smirk before nodding his head at my brother. I look at his lunch and groan as I realize it is much better than mine. Somehow, he managed to get two slices of pizza and I only got one. I'm too obsessed with food, it's ridiculous.

"Ready for the dinner tonight?" Chad asks Eric and I.

We nod our heads and simultaneously take a bite from our pizza and then a sip from our drink. Shelby and Chad stare at us in confusion for a few seconds. I'm quite use to that stuff happening. Many people find it weird when Eric and I do things at the same time without meaning to. There was one time where Eric and I said the same thing at the same time multiple times in one day. My aunt got so freaked out that she left the room.

"That's weird," Chad whispers.

"We know," Eric and I say at the same time.

We quickly look at each other and point, "Jinx! You owe me a soda!"

He slapped his hand on the table, "One of these days one of us is going to win, Ro."

Shelby and Chad continue to stare with amazement and I laugh at their reactions. We go back to eating and the annoying guy named Sam joins us a few minutes later. He sits on the other side of me and puts his arm around my shoulder and gives me a sloppy kiss on the cheek. I shove him off and slap his arm. Eric gives him a hard glare and Sam puts his hands up in mock surrender.

"I was just showing my girl some love," he states.

Eric shakes his head, "She's not, nor ever will be, your girl."

Sam puts his hand to his chest in a fake way to show he is hurt, "I'm ashamed of you, Carlson. Don't you know I'd treat her right?"

"No."
