A/N: Dylan O'Brien is on the side. He is casted as Eric Carlson.

Eric looks over at me and I can see worry written all over his face. He walks ahead of Chad and I and throws a pair of keys at one of the guys standing by the concrete wall. The summer breeze feels good against my skin and it makes the ache for summer increase. Chad does not move more than an inch away from me which only confuses me more. They told me that I had to stay by their side the whole night before leaving the house and at first I laughed but as I look around the sketchy parking lot I realize they were right. Girls wearing the skankiest outfits in the entire world walk around as if they own the place and the amount of guys that look like the cockiest guys in the world is more than a healthy number.

"You stay with me or Chad the whole night. Got it?"

Eric's voice brings me out of my thoughts and I simply nod my head in response. We look around the crowd and head over towards the bonfire. Drinks are everywhere and people are either smoking or making out or doing whatever else they felt fit.

"I just need to finish that one deal and then we can go to Nick's," Eric explains to Chad.

I look over at the two and then back towards the cooler full of drinks. If we are going to be here for a little bit then I might as well enjoy myself. I go grab a beer and sit on the ground like a lot of other people are doing.

The scene is a little rougher than I thought it would be. Eric and I never hung out at these sorts of places at our old school. We usually just went out to parties or concerts and bars, but this is a whole different thing. There are cars lined up and all the guys are standing by them. People are dancing, quite provocatively I might add, or making out, or drinking, or smoking. I will probably end up smelling like weed for a week.

"Hello," an unfamiliar voice says from behind.

I crane my neck to the side and find a very attractive guy standing there with a bright smirk on his face. He is good looking but not to the extreme and I can tell that there is something off about him. His smirk comes off as scary instead of sexy. I nod my head and turn my head back around. I look for Eric or Chad and don't see either of them. So much for sticking together.

"You're new here," the guy from before states. I don't know if it is supposed to be a question but it comes out more like a statement.

"Yeah."

"I'm Shane," he holds out his hand and I gently shake it.

"Who are you here with?"

"My brother and his friend," I state.

His body is too close for my liking and I move over a little but he only mirrors my movement. Does he not have a brain? I'm pretty sure I'm showing how uninterested I am, right?

"What's your brother's name? Maybe I know him."

"Eric."

He eyes me for a second before laughing, "Wait, do you mean Eric Carlson?"

My eyes narrow in confusion as he states my brother's name, "Uh...yes."

"You should have told me sooner," he wraps an arm around my shoulders and I instantly stiffen.

My eyes trail the scene in front of me and I desperately look for Eric or Chad. None of them are in my line of view and I mentally slap myself for leaving them. I should have listened to my brother. I try getting up but his hold on me only tightens.

"How do you know my brother?"

A creepy smile plasters his face before responding, "Let's just say that we are...friends."
