Taking away

I woke up to hear the screams and whines of brumbies. I rushed out of my tent and spotted the foal being pulled away towards the horse trailers. "No!" I cried. I woke up my friends when I screamed. I raced away towards the trailers. "What are you doing?!" I yelled at one if the younger men. "Get away from me! These aren't your horses so get away! Who do you think you are?" He questioned. I paused to watch something fall out of another man's T-shirt pocket then continued.
"Leave these horses!" I demanded trying to grab hold of the rope that was holding the foal's mother. The man pushed me to the ground. "Hey, you!" Another man yelled. I had no idea who he was talking to. "Yeah, you. Get away from my horses!" He yelled. He had to be talking to me. It was the same man that I kicked off his horse. "You already sabotaged the heard catching and now... I don't even know what you're doing but it clearly isn't helping now get away from these creatures!" He shouted rudely. I was speechless. I froze until I saw the foal being forced into a trailer. I raced over and pushed the man away from the locks. "Excuse me? Away from the trailer." He demanded.
"Get away from my horse!" I cried.
He pushed me away. "Your horse? This pest doesn't belong to anyone. Go away!" He shouted.
"Skye! You can't be here. Let's go." Jonathan urged, coming up behind me. I cried, trying to push him away. I ran to the foal and tried to undo the hinges and locks. I gave up but held onto the trailer. "I'll save you, Kiandra. I'll set you free again." I whispered slowly to the foal as tears dripped down my face. The look in her eyes was like she was trying to say thank you. Jonathan pulled me away and I screamed. He locked my in his arms. Tears ran down my face as I screamed as loud as I could. I didn't know what that would do but it was worth a try. He dragged me back into the bush as I watched Kiandra get taken away. When we got back into the bush, I collapsed on the leafy ground.
